The Slimeing! Opens: April 1st
Closes: April 15th, 11:59 PM EST
So, something happened. Something bad happened. Sirius, the familiar teach for the academy, went out to research talk about a mysterious new familiar in a deep, deep jungle. What did he come back with? Slimes. Familiars that adapt to their surroundings! Their offspring can even have altered appearances to match their surroundings! Sirius began studying them with another Nightmare named Annika and then..... well.....
They multiplied.
Rapidly.
Now there's hundreds of slimes running around the academy, and Ava needs your help! She even has called the universities to ask for assistance! All you can hear is the faint 'ooooh!' and 'eeeee' of the slimes as they leap around the academy, filling classrooms and dorms! What can you do?
Just take a damn slime and run!
How to play:
Roll a 20-sided die per Nightmare you're including in this ORP/madness. If you roll a 1, 5, 10, 15, or 20, your Nightmare can take home a slime! You MUST RP them trying to catch a slime or else we will not home the familiar won.
You may win one slime per Nightmare. If you have 5 Nightmares, each can walk away with one slime they've won. Your Nightmare's may gift their slimes away, though! Even if you gift one away, that Nightmare cannot win a second one.
Do not delete posts. We will disqualify you from the event should you do so.
If you lack a character, you may use ONE quest to try and obtain a slime!
You are encouraged to create creative situations of your character catching a slime!
Only take one prize per roll!

 Try as she might, the Imp's claws just weren't suited for catching these slimes. Just when she had finally cornered one and grabbed it, it slipped right out of her grasp and scurried off elsewhere.

 Margret wasn't quite sure what was happening. One minute, she was off adventuring, and the next... there were these slimes everywhere! She hadn't seen anything like it but... Some of them were kind of cute... When she saw others trying to catch them, she decided to try her hand and get one so she could show it to her brother and sister.

Nastara heard a commotion as she was up late reading under the covers. She pushed the covers off, slipped into her slippers and opened the door, not immediately seeing anything the took a single step out and *SQUISH* She jumped back with a squeal. What HAD she stepped into She bent down to examine the puddle and was just about to poke a finger at it when something bounced off her head, knocking her facefoward into the puddle. Now she screamed well and truly bringing others running, who thankfully flipped on a light- and there were little creatures bouncing around that were SLIMY as her goopy face could attest. Before she could work herself up into a fit one of the creatures bounced into her lap, nuzzled up against her like a cat and ricoched on its way.
"PLAY TIME!" She yelled and took off after the cute little darlings. She skidded and squished and had more fun that a hillbilly at a greased pig contest, it took some doing, but she almost had one of the slippery creatures in her arms-.....

She missed, how embarrassing! She thought she was so close! The pink and black Bakeneko piked herself up, stalking around trying to find another slime thing. She readied herself before.... She sprang into capture mode! And it worked! Second try's the charm! Margret squealed happily that she managed to snag one of these slimey pets. But it was wiggling and giggling around and she was sure she would lose it from her grasp. So she did the only thing she could think of. She stuffed the slime ball in her sweater and cradled the wiggling glob in her arms. "Shhh.... Shh.... You're gonna come home with me and I'm gonna take really good care of you cutie~"

T'kani was sure she had it this time. She'd run the poor thing down and leapt at it, covering the squirming blob as she tried to contain the thing, only to have it slip out between her arms again.

 BG was sure the slime would slip right through her hands as soon as she tried to grab it. But she was determined to try! She slowly approached the slime and prepared to pounce...! ...And somehow, she managed to catch the little slime unawares! BG gave a pleased sound, her tail twitching happily as she held up the slime.

 Liath was so scattered eyeing all of the different types of slimes he didn't even know what one to go after. He frantically grabbed at them and frowned as they scooted just out of his reach.

 The little slimey thing slipped right through her fingers. She laughed with delight and looked around, they were everywhere! She set her sights on another one and took off after it. Finding her slippers were slowing her down she took another look around, decided to say screw decorum, and kicked them off as no one was paying any attention to her whatsoever and set about corraling another, trying to catch one as it bounced up and into her arms.

She had it this time, for sure. The Imp stalked the poor slime into another corner, then pounced on it, wrapping her arms around it as it tried to leap away.
She struggled with the wiggling mass, but eventually got a hold on it until it wore itself out. She'd caught one!

 Aviont'e frowned as a weird...thing, hopped past his window of his dorm room. Standing up and peering out the window he watched the thing bounce away. Curious, he scrambles out the window and takes off after it, watching it before taking his jacket off in an attempt to make a 'net' before lunging forward to catch it.

Oh what terrible luck just when he thought that he was going to finally catch one the slime was snagged up by someone else. He gave a big dramatic sigh as he searched the ground for one he may be able to capture.

 Gwen was so excited she was going to catch one of these little creatures if it was the last thing she did!! She had to know what they were, what they ate, were they ticklish?? Did they like plushies!! Gwen intended to figure out everything!! Gwen lept forward and slipped in a puddle of slime, getting covered in pink slime. Darn it. "I'm going to catch you cute things!!" She shouted. Gwen sat on the ground trying to figure out a new plan for catching a slime, how to build a better slime trap, yes. She would try candy, plushies, blankets, the works!!

Nastara squeeled, She'd caught one it was in her arms and she went to hug it to her when *POP* It slipped right out and went bouncing off. She laughed for the first time in a long time. Then she thought of something......quickly she ran into one of the open rooms and snatched an empty pillow case from the linen cupboard and becagn using it like a net to catch a aslime!
