The day after the battle Seung had left for Korea and spent several days there, and after a day back in Destiny City he was ready to respond to a text from Torin and arrange a meet up for that evening. He'd spent the early part of the day shopping and eating out with Terry. Mostly healed up, he was no longer bandaged up under his shirt, he'd arranged to meet up at a cafe in the evening, sometime shortly after dinner time in the hopes that who had or had not eaten would not be a concern.

The meeting place was a small cafe, not a Starbucks, but a small business that was a unique cafe as it was not a chain cafe at all. It had dim lighting and seats that were comfortable, really comfortable, and not a lot of people. The coffees and teas were good and he'd see other customers giving positive reactions to the sweets they sold.

The reason he'd offered up the place was not just because he knew how to get here, and sometimes finding his way was still a bit of an issue in the city, but they also served bubble tea and that was what sat on the table in front of him as he waited for Torin to turn up. Picking his drink up to take a sip he glanced about as the sky outside flashed a bright white color as lightening flashed and a bang, loud and window shaking, filled the air. It looked like tonight was going to be a stormy night. It hadn't started to rain yet but it was a matter of time and he knew it and he wasn't ready for it.

Shifting in his seat he flipped his hair and sighed. He had, after lunch with Terry, gotten his hair done. Redyed, brown and blond, and had the darker side reshaven so it looked as it should and had when it had originally been done. It wasn't an easy style to maintain as it involved two dyed colors and the shaven part which tended to grow out too soon in his opinion. But he liked the style and wouldn't change it - at least not any time soon.

Torin had spent the days after the battle lying on the couch. One reason was because he didn't feel like moving and spent most of his time under a self-medicated haze and trying to sleep while not moving any part of his body. The other reason was because Wyatt was so pissed at him for going on a suicide mission that he locked him out of the bedroom each night. To say he was refreshed and rested would be a flat out lie.

When he arrived at the café, he only requested to Seung that the place be near a bus stop as he didn't want to walk and would rather lay in the back seat of a bus for most of the trip into town. Holding an blue umbrella like a cane, he slowly walked in and looked around.

He hadn't met Seung or anyone from the side of Order outside of Paris, Chris, and Wyatt and was a bit nervous to expose himself in that way. Unlike Gevaudan or Wolframite, Torin did not wear a eyepatch but had matching fake eye. Without the thick coverings of his uniform, he was lank, and a discolored scar traveled up his neck around his ear. The bags under his eyes didn’t help his general look, but considering all the blood he lost, he was glad he could now walk around.

His hair was a dark black, eyes vibrant green, and of his usual short stature. It was hard to imagine someone that small had once been a feared General of the Negaverse. The gray hoodie with puppy ears on it he was wearing didn't help the image either.

Noticing Seung by his description in the text, he walked over to him and paused. "Seung?" He asked, not wanting to sit with a complete stranger on accident.

Dressed in dark colors he sort of didn't stand out, though perhaps his style did or the eye liner he wore had him standing out. Either way he'd included both in the text to Torin, as well as mentioning his hair style. Come to think of it a lot about him stood out didn't it? The solid black shirt he wore was a bit loose in fit, as it was supposed to be, with net sleeves and a solid black fabric hood. Even with the hood it wasn't good for the incoming rain it seemed they were due, the hood was fairly thin in material. He was going to get soaked and he was dreading it.

Looking up as his table was approached he took in the sight of the other before nodding. "Yes, please." Making a motion to the seat across from him. "Sit, order something. It is on me." Since he had picked the place and he was more than willing, and able, to pay for the other. "Find here ok?" He asked wanting to make sure the other had found the small cafe alright, if not he could of course change the location and pick a bigger and easier to find cafe. This one just happen to serve a drink he enjoyed.

Looking the other over, from the hoodie to the umbrella, he felt a smile tug at his lips. "Look cute. You like dog I assume." he said nodding once. His own new puppy, thanks to Terry, was at home with his cousin puppy sitting for him. He wouldn't ask and burden his parents with it, though he had a feeling he'd come home and find Yeong with his mother watching tv.

He was glad he found the right cafe and the right person, and breathed out before slowly easing himself into the seat, gritting his teeth a moment before he relaxed. The stitches at his side still were sore and the bandages under his clothes were stiff and made movement limited. The hoodie served to hide all the ones on his arms and midsection as he really didn't want people staring at them all day especially with the nature of what they would be discussing.

Look about, he looked back and Seung and smiled. "Yeah. I used my phone to find the place. I'm usually good with knowing the cafes around here." He paused, hoping he wasn't using too many words or long sentences with Seung's limited English, or what he assumed might be limited. "Uh, tell me if I'm confusing." He added.

But for what few words Seung did use, Torin visibly froze and flushed at being called cute. "No." He grumbled, looking away at Seung as he moved his umbrella, decorated with huskies in rain caps and goulashes, to the side to rest.

"...and yeah. A little." Or maybe a lot. His own husky puppy was sleeping at home and he had debated taking it with him but wasn't sure the cafe had a no dogs allowed policy. "...I fed a few." Or a lot of strays in Destiny city while on patrol.

Finally looking back at the other, he glanced at his body more to appraise his health. "How are you doing? Are you still in pain?"

A waiter came by and he looked up, and at being asked what he wanted, he asked for a hot chocolate before she left.

Watching the other sit down, noticing he still seemed to be suffering from the battle, he was still surprised at the beating a person could take. Having never been in a fight himself, as he was rather non-violent, he had never seen a fight on the scale it had been on down in the Rift. The beating people took and dealt out was...impressive and intimidating to the male. Torin had especially impressed him, the passion he seemed to throw into the fight.

Listening to the other he nodded slowly. "Use phone to find many places also." He had to, the gps app helped a lot. He did remember the places he went to often, as he got used to them. Finding new places was a difficult thing for him and still required looking them up on his phone or his computer at home. Terry had been helping with that as had spending nights out powered up. He took the time then, as he seemed to have a fair amount of luck in not getting jumped, to wander about the city and learn the various streets and stores.

"I will, thank you. Still working on English - not easy. Japanese easier." He said with a shrug of his shoulders. Japanese had come much easier to him in school, perhaps because it was similar enough in some ways? English hadn't been easy, he'd passed it on his final high school exam, but he hadn't ever used it and got more than rusty with it.

"Never had a dog before, have a puppy now. Very nice to have one - very fun." He had been shocked, and perhaps still was, that Terry had gotten him a dog. They'd talked about the benefits, such as calming people and stress relief, but he hadn't even gotten to talking to his parents and seeing if he could get permission for a dog in the apartment. He'd just come home from his short vacation and Terry had driven him to his home and presented him with a puppy he'd found in the local shelter. It was perfect though, but he was going to be needing to learn a lot about them.

"Not bad, still healing but mostly done. No pain, didn't get hurt much. You took a lot...how are you?" He asked concerned dark eyes glancing over the other. "Never been in a fight before...never had to. Was...a rush and intimidating." He didn't want to say scary, that would imply he'd been scared and wasn't suited for this and that wasn't the case. He had been intimidated because he knew so little, had little experience, and lacked the ability to fight really. Youma were one thing, that he could handle and had handled. But that battle was massive and so much fighting and people hadn't been very organized, groups breaking up and more. Organized chaos perhaps described it best.

Taking a sip of his drink he set the cup down gently on the table. "Healing well? Still in pain?"

"Oh, I just got a puppy too. It was a gift when we moved." He said, perking up considerably at the mention of puppies.

He might have given away the fact he liked dogs more than just a little.

When concern was returned, he only moved his sleeve up a little to show bandages. "The cuts are healing. I was stitched up, and I had medication. I lost a lot of blood but sleeping has helped. Was tempted to get a transfer there on the first night.' He admitted and was glad he didn't just go under from all he lost. Maybe it was Alexandria's vials that helped keep him alive.

"I didn't lose any limbs, loose of feeling anywhere, or a eye so I'm as good as I can be. I won't be doing any roof hopping this week, that's for sure." He pulled his sleeve back up and rested it on the table. Soon, the waitress brought him a hot chocolate and walked away. He was pleased to see it had a thick foam on it with a light chocolate drizzle.

"Healing as good as I can. Just sleeping like usual after things like this. It's the best thing you can do. It's given me time to think in the meantime."

He picked up the mug and took a sip, savoring the heat that ran down his throat, the rich flavors that coated his tongue. Licking his lips, he set the mug back down.

"It's always like that. Worse when you take on that place with everyone there. Even I was surprised all the shots they pulled out, but then again, no one had ever done an attack like that. I imagine if I was still there, I'd be very pissed." Which was why so many of them had wanted them more than just dead. They wanted them destroyed.

"But it was even chaos then with our side so disorganized." He paused in thought as he looked at his mug before looking up. "What about your friend? The one you were close with back before." He used the word friend very lightly.

"Was a gift also. Got home from vacation to a puppy." He said smiling at the other. it seemed someone in both their lives thought a puppy was a good idea. "You moved?" He asked the other. He knew how hard that could be, he'd had a big move in his life only a few months back. That could be..hectic to say the least.

"That's good...you were hurt a lot." For someone who didn't look strong the other certainly was. Anyone who went into a fight doubting the other would surely find themselves regretting their doubt - if they made it out of the fight alive. The other had proven he was more than willing, and able, to kill. He still couldn't believe he'd tried to help kill someone but she was deserving of it, and he could accept that though it was something he was only just now accepting and processing. he'd shoved everything to the back of his mind, as far as he could anyway, while away on vacation. He didn't need, nor want, to worry his family or raise questions.

Nodding his head, indicating for the other to go on, curious what he had been doing in the free time. He had to have had a lot, he had a lot to recover from.

"No organization...made for bad fight...got more hurt and dead." Shaking his head lightly. "Need to have harmony and order...not chaos.. Is bad for us." He said slowly, wanting to make sure he conveyed the right message. At the question about his friend, and the way the other worded that one single word - friend he knew who he meant. "Is well, still recovering bit." Making a small motion with his fingers to indicate as much. "Is better, had lunch with him earlier...spent yesterday at his home. Got hurt more than me...thrown down the stairs." He had worried a lot for the other, especially when he'd seen him being thrown as he'd been. to know he was well, was recovering, he'd been relieved.

"Yeah. Had to make arrangements before……coming over. Do you….not know how.." he leaned in to whisper to word least anyone over heard him. "purification works?" He asked.

He leaned back again to hold his mug. "Don't worry too much about me. I've been hurt in plenty of battles in plenty of ways. I usually bounce back." Usually. He probably pushed it too much this time around, and Wyatt was sure to point that out. The words 'suicidal' had been thrown around a few times.

"Yeah, She didn't hold back during that fight. I hope he recovers well, but I'm sure you are keeping tabs on him. If he needs any pain medication, I know someone who can get him something." He dragged his thumb a few times over the warmed surface of the mug, contemplating.

"The woman that brought us to safety…" He was purposely avoiding names in the semi-public place. "….said if we work as a team, great power would come to us. I think what we are doing now, meeting with the others, is a good thing. But…..it doesn't have to be just our king." He looked back up to him. "You were fighting alongside him. Do you think he'd want to join you with us to train?"

"No...don't know." He responded as the other leaned forward to speak. He had heard it during one of those gatherings in the forest, leading up to the battle, but he knew nothing about it. He hadn't asked and wasn't sure who to ask either.

"Don't know many people in this war." Seung admitted with ease. Sipping at his drink again he took down a few of the tapioca balls that were at the bottom of the cup. Dark eyes roamed back and forth over the table top as he thought over who he did know, it really was few. "Don't know a lot...at all." The meeting the other had called between the Ganymede knights had helped a bit, but there was still a lot to know he was sure.

"Only got home from vacation day before yesterday. he is well. Was texting him while gone." He said lightly. he had talked to the other via text messages during the time he'd been away for the lunar new year. He had spoken to the other as well and knew he was recovering. "She was strong..." Since she had died, though he had not seen how that had happened. He could only imagine it had to be something big, due to how strong she was. "Will tell him that. Said he was on bed rest first day or two." While he had been away on a plane and at his grandparents home. He had pushed himself and moved around, gone about normal things.

Nodding to the question. "Erebus would join....Will talk to him. He will be likely to follow me." To an extent he had the other wrapped about his finger, but only enough to follow him some and keep at his side, but nothing that was abnormal really. "Will help us, the great power, next time. Could keep from more deaths." If it could reduce the deaths, on either side, he was up for the idea - whatever it meant. "You will be running it?"

"If you cross over to any side, you have to change the properties of your starseed." He was speaking quietly and was glad no one was around their table. "For that, whatever is in is replaced. The longer you are with a side, the stronger you are with a side, makes it more difficult. When you change over, you loose part of your memories. You either forget who you were outside of your uniform and remember who you were in uniform only or vice versa. I lost who I was outside of my uniform. Those memories are gone. That person is gone. Aside from what I wrote myself before, I know nothing." He took another drink from his hot chocolate. "We moved after since it wouldn't make sense adopting new names and a new life when we couldn't remember who were lived around. Who are neighbors even were. It would be too strange. I didn't just give up my loyalty, my years of service, and all the friendships I had made to be here now. I gave up half of myself."

He took another deep drink, welcoming the warm drink to somehow fill a slow coldness that settled in him.

'I don't plan to lead anyone unless they want me to lead them. I will bring it up, but it will be up to everyone else to vote. I know what having one absolute leader who appoints themselves based on power does to a side. I could be like that. I could base my leadership on punishment, power, and fear, but I don't want that. I don't think I could become better or achieve what I want in the end by doing that."

He thought back to Erebus and raised his hand a moment. "Don't use his other name in public. Please. It's very risky. Don't even use any enemies names in public either. There are always eyes and ears. You never know that the waitress or someone sitting further off from us is actually an officer, and the greatest risk is having them see your civilian form." With that warning given, he nudged his mug aside to look across the table at the blonde.

"I'll bring up everything during out next meeting. Seeing as everyone has tasted battle, I think it's a good place to start training. We can talk about what everyone might want out of all of us. Set some goals. I also want to see who has visited their wonder or not. I….will also be bringing someone to join our team. Someone I want to protect just as you work to protect him."

'What did you think about your first big mission. Did you have any questions?"

Oh! He understood most of what the other said, loss of memories, either powered or civilian. That meant a loss of everything - didn't it? At least memories but did a person lose everything with it? "Family...friends? Do they remember?" Couldn't they help, make it easier on the person who went through such a thing, though telling them the truth might be hard- impossible even. He couldn't picture telling his parents about this, then again he kept his fair share of secrets from his family and would continue to do so. Not only did he not want to worry them but he didn't want to see how they would react to other things. "New name...? No one to remind you of old name?" He could understand the move though, if you didn't remember relationships with people around you and such. But if you let family know before hand couldn't they help with some of the memories and information? There wouldn't be a need to change names.

"Might not lead but more information with you. I would vote for you." Depending on who was in the group it would be easier to do in fact. if it was the other knights from their little meeting - it would be simple. They all were new as opposed to the one sitting across from him. He'd been on the other side, wasn't anymore, and had been involved for a long time. The other could lead and could make decisions the rest of them likely couldn't make, or wouldn't make. "No, best have everyone like you." He answered before nodding his head to the others next words.

"Sorry, not used to this." Talking about one life while in the other. It really was all still new, he'd have to work on things and think more as he spoke.

"Were others from the meeting there?" The other Ganymede knights he hadn't noticed but he had admittedly been busy so may have missed them. "Haven't seen them since." That was something they should work on and from the sound of it the other planned to, that was good. If they could train and talk, learn, it would surely help them and it would improve the knights as a whole in some small way - right? "I have been only once. Going soon with Terry...bringing some things up to make comfortable. Should do that also...in case ever needed to stay there for some time." He was planning on bringing candles, a mattress, bedding, a big first aid kit, and some other things. Over time he was planning to stock pile some things, including clothing for various possible weather conditions they might encounter on Ganymede.

Raising a brow at the others last words he smiled at him. "Lots but best to go over questions and information, tell what happened at group meeting - only say it all once." They should have that meeting soon so they could tell everyone about..well everything.

"You have someone special too." Smiling more he shrugged. "Think he protects me more...Terry has been in longer...only since Christmas eve for me."

"I vaguely told my mother, but it's hard on her. I put her through a lot and ran away to keep working with the Negaverse when I was showing up hurt over and over. We are working at it slowly, but she can't call me by the same name. I don't recognize it. If I hadn't told her who I was, that I was her son, she wouldn't have first known it was me. It's a strange charm once you change size. Like a smokescreen of no one noticing who you are."

He dragged the napkin under his mug to tear a little piece off.

"I didn't have friends. Not that I know. Aside from 2 who helped me change sides. All my friends were on the other side. I knew a lot of higher ups. I used to know the ones who lead the battle in the other side and see leaders come and go. I've...seen a lot." He felt old and yet for all he knew of the Negaverse, he knew nothing of Order. "Know nothing about here or on this side unless what I was told by my leaders."

"I didn't see the others during the fight but I'll ask if they were there. As for someone, yes." His finger lightly touched the blackened crystal stone ring about his finger, chiseled with a curved wild.

"They were there for me when I was at my worst and there to try and keep me at my best. We were purified together. If he didn't come, I would have stayed. I would never abandon him."

Even if he was an a*****e sometimes. Then again, so was he.

"How did you two meet?"

Nodding, understanding the first part, he could understand it being hard on a parent. It would be hard on his mother, and even his father, if he were to change sides or if they even found out he was involved in this war. They'd worry, his father would argue with him without a doubt, he might get thrown out as well. He knew it would dissolve into a fight, between himself and his father, with him wanting to remain a knight and involved in things while the other would want him to give it up and fulfill his 'duties' like going to university and finishing a business degree and getting a top paying job. Then would be the wife and kids his family would expect of him - things he didn't want.

"How you remember her but not self..?" He asked curious about that while he tucked his blond hair behind his pierced ear. "Could not leave, or forget, family. New to country...would hurt too much..for them and back home." He said slowly, hesitating over his words as he tried to correct his accent, to mimic what he heard from other people and what he'd learned.

"Have friends now." He said, meaning himself, at least he hoped so. They were on the same team - yes. But perhaps friends also? He could use those, he lacked them in school. He was hoping that would change when he started at university in the fall, or summer.

As the other continued to talk he waited before biting down gently on his bottom lip. "Sorry...some I don't understand..English is third language. Still learning. Know most of what you said." He said hopeful, proud even, but English was still a work in progress for him, as was easy to tell with his own speech and heavy accent. His b's came out sounding like p's at times and vice versa same for r's and l's and other things were off for him as well. He was working on it - a lot.

"Meet when walking by self...felt...like me. Helped me, was using phone map to find self. Stayed since then. Just happened - did not plan it. Have never dated...same for Terry." Terry had less experience in general, and what he had was with females, where as he had experience outside of dating. They were both learning and working on things. "Helps me with understanding things - like this." Like being a knight, as well as understanding cultural differences and language. The other helped him in a lot of ways and thus he clung to the other - a lot.

"I used to watch her when I was in uniform. I wrote letters to myself to prepare for my purification. I don't know a lot about her, so it's bizarre treating her like a new person, but - there is a sense of knowing. It's strange for her because at times it's like it's hard for her to recognize me as her son. She knows she has one, but if I hadn't told her, she would have never noticed who I was. The magic that plays with us, that protects us, also can protect us from those we knew and cared for. She helps me with my memories of before I was even an officer and just a kid, but she does tell me that I still act like who I am at the very center of things. " He tore a little corner from a napkin. "I'm still not used to her hugging me though." It was always something that made him feel awkward around her, but something told him that he needed to hold hard to the human side of him. His letter said as much.

That he was close to loosing himself to something darker.

"I'll try to talk smaller then. To help." He paused to consider how to phrase things without as many flowery words. "That's nice. He seems good to you. Good to have. Loyal. Support like that goes a long way."

"So you two are dating?" He wanted to be sure.

Well, that made sense what he did get from the others words about his mother, and their currant relationship. it was still new sounding...like if someone who didn't know their parent ever just met them...or similar he supposed. He couldn't be sure as he'd never been in such a position and didn't know anyone who had been but he supposed it was similar...he'd seen it in a drama once a long time ago. Some of the others words went over his head, as was expected, but he had the general idea of what the other was saying, he was getting better.

"Thank you, nice to have smaller words." He appreciated it as it made things easier for him, and for the other person he was talking to. It wasn't easy learning another language, again, especially one so very different from his own native tongue.

Nodding his head at the others. "Yes, is very good - helpful...cares a lot...worries too much - try not to worry him but it happens." He said feeling abit guilty about how he did worry the other, he didn't try to. He could pin most of it on the differences in culture and how they'd both grown up. They'd both lived and grown up in cities, big cities, but such different lives.

"Yes. Didn't plan it, never wanted to date...just be with people. He is not good with people and...space...touch." Personal space and Terry were a thing, he didn't like people getting into his personal space or touching him, in a friendly manner even, but he'd gotten away with it from the start somehow. "Didn't know him long before he asked me."
