It hadn't been long since Stormfly had been woven into the world. She had awoken alone and somewhere in the high reaches of some mountains. It was curious to her nature, the way she came to be. She was aware of many things, who she was, what she was, and what she could and couldn't do as her species.
She had arrived at the dark tribe right before dawn so so found herself a nice little cave to crawl into for the day and sleep. She was well aware of not being able to see during the day as she had made an attempt to do so once. She discovered if she put a blindfold over her eyes she could still move about and hear, but it was tough to do so. So for now, she was going to chill in this cave, which now that she was looking around was bigger than it appeared.
She wasn't sure if anyone else was in there and her eyes adjusted quickly to the darkness. She wasn't the sort to get scared easily and she was fairly easy going and lovable around certain characters. She quite liked to play games now and again and take possession of certain things but overall she was quite calm. "Is anyone in here?" She called out curiously, her long tail wrapping around her legs carefully as she shifted her wings close to her body. WC:237
The Dark tribe was settling down for rest for the day, however one Dark triber in particular was still curiously out and about. He was away from his normal romping ground. Which was a verity of places, La Muerte's skull palace or the theater. Oh he so enjoyed the theater, especially when Choron's blood giver was around, they were very amusing to watch. Though, admittedly they were also a bit noisy at times as well....
However, with Tah Chorons away, and the hooked winged was no where to be found. That and La Muerte and Xibaliba seemed to be having another 'talk' in the bowels of their home. It was a bit noisy, so for now not really finding in himself to nap for the day, Toothless was about the dark Tribe Mountain floating and climbing about.
The calls of a b'alam had caught his careful and pointy ears. Turning his head in his glide, the angle of his leathery wings shifted and turned him to a nearby rock face. Landing on the rocky edge and wall, the claws of his wings grabbed on the rock as his claws helped him in his hang. Having done such a thing before, and so often he made only a soft 'thud' as he landed just above the mouth of a small cave. Turning himself and at the top of the mouth of the cave. His then turned head to drop down to look inside the cave where he had heard the call of another. To anyone in the cave, they would see the dark b'alam's head upside down and at the top of the cave. Toothless seemed to favor hanging upside down a lot of the time, for some strange reason.
Dark orbs resting on green scalar peered into the darkness where he could make out the imagine of another b'alam, a nahtlil. Blinking, Toothless turned his head as he noted that the Nahtlil was also of the Dark Tribe and had leathery wings like he-and no doubt could see in the dark. So....why was she hiding in a cave all by herself. His head titled of to the side, as he pondered the strange sight a little confused.... WC: 367
The sound of claws against stone made her turn her head around and she cocked her head to the side as she gazed up at the dark Tah who was staring at her. She was slightly confused as to why he was still outside when it would be light soon, perhaps he was figuring out things like she was? She was new to this Tribes area and new nothing of it or where to go. Maybe he did? She turned around to face him and blinked once or twice and tilted her head so she could look at him upright. So essentially she was having her head upside down while she was upside right. "Is this your cave? I needed a place to stay because of the dawns approach." She said returning her head upside right.
She moved towards the entrance of the cave and looked up at him with curiosity in her eyes. He was a curious one and she liked that about him. Though he was silent, which wasn't odd to her. She watched him for a moment and then spoke to him. "Would you like to come in here with me? Or perhaps I can follow you somewhere else?" She asked as an alternative to her invitation. She wondered who he was and where he had come from. Well clearly it was likely from around here, but still. She was so new to this place she hadn't the slightest clue about anything. She just knew he was like her in a way.
"I'm new here and I'm not really sure where to go." She finally said since she might as well get it all out on the table. She was hoping there were things to do around here one night came around again. She liked to play with things, and she was fiercely loyal once you got close to her. But overall she was quite sweet. At least that was what she knew about herself. "I'm Stormfly, sorry I didn't tell you it sooner." WC: 337
Toothless tilted turned his head as the Nahtll spoke to him, how she turned her head about to look at him right side up. His maw parted in a amused smile as he watched her. Above him and out of view his dark tail shifted above him playfully. As the Nahtll approached and continued to speak, it caused Tah's dark ears twitched and perked slightly.
Turning himself he dropped in front of the other b'alam. his landing was soft, and surprisingly quiet. His body turned in the decent, so that he could be right in front and facing Storm Fly, as she called herself. Dark wings flopped at his side as he let the hooked 'claws' rest on the earth with his hunches. His green and black eyes blinked as he his head slowly tilted to the other side. A curious smile rested on his dark maw, as he 'inspected' and silent inspected the Nahtll as his head slowly tilted to the other side.
She was new the the area, and seemed a bit...lost? Toothless found a moment to wonder if that was the right 'word' choice. At any case, his thoughts shifted to easily conclude that he should bring her 'home'. She was a leather winged dark triber like him, and just as she said it was going to be dawn soon. There was no doubt that she was tired and most likely thirsty as well. So it would be best to lead her there. Though, Unlike most the weaver wove, he lacked a voice-and had to find some way to communicate to her to fallow him-even if it just be out of curiosity.
Quickly tucking his head back, he hopped backward. His hunches raised and his dark tail whipped behind him whimsically. His front paws lowered his front half and head, as his eyes remained focused on Storm Fly, his ears perked forward. Pausing, he had to make sure that he had her attention.
Surely he had gained at least that...
With a lope he hopped and bounded forward, with carefully taken steps he bouncing swiftly around Storm Fly before sauntered toward the opening of the cave. It looked like a silly uneven walk, that one had to put their whole body into to pull off....Stopping at the entrance of the cave, Toothless turning his head to make sure that she got the idea to fallow him. His tail raised and twisted, looking at her his head nudged the air in little bob toward the outside. One of his front paws remained raised as he had paused himself in mid step, as if to give emphasis, that he wanted her to fallow. WC: 444
He seemed curious to her. She wondered why he hadn't spoken yet, but didn't question it. Perhaps he was shy? She watched as she dropped from the ceiling and stood before her. He was slightly larger than her in size, but other than that they were pretty evenly matched it would seem. She watched as he seemed to be inspecting her and she was just all around curious about this curious Tahtll. It appeared he was listening to everything she was saying and assessing it but he wasn't much for responding, except through gestures. She was still new to the world so she assumed this was normal for him. Though a part of her told her it wasn't. Either way he seemed nice.
She watched him as he began to move, and he definitely held her attention. It appeared he wanted her to follow him, especially after circling her and then heading towards the entrance. She gave her shoulders a little shrug, might as well. What could it hurt? She gave him a smile and followed behind him and came to a halt next to him and gazed over so she was looking at him. "Lead the way." She said with a grin. WC: 203
As the Nahtll seemed to catch on to him, Toothless bobbed his head once more in a nod. His paw opened wide to a more grander smile. With a lope forward, his hind legs sprang him toward the rock face of the cliff. Claws dug into the rock face as he climbed up higher. Gaining the height he needed to take flight, he sprung backward from the rock. Twisting his body, his dark leathery wings caught air and with a snap of them he propelled himself higher into the sky.
As he was airborne, toothless picked up his paws and dipped his head under him to make sure that his new friend had done true to fallow him. They didn't have much time before, the sun came up. It was a good thing the Dark tribe wasn't too far away. Once they were there, he could try to properly introduce himself to her. It would take far too long to try and do so right then. She did seem like she was fun. It would be interesting to watch her more carefully, he was a curious Tahtll after all. WC: 189
As she watched him she couldn't help but smile at his wide smile and then leaped after him, her wings spreading outwards and catching an upwards draft as she followed closely behind. She was just behind him and slightly below him and watched as he looked back to see if she was following. From his lack of speak she had come to decide he didn't talk, which was alright to her. She was able to understand him easy enough it seemed.
As she was in the air she couldn't help but tuck her wings and spiral a bit and then allow herself to be propelled back into the sky not to far behind him. What fun was flying if you didn't enjoy it? She beat her wings a little bit and brought herself above him and tapped him with her paw then circled him so she flew underneath him and back above him and gave him a smile back. WC: 159
It was a good thing there was so many cliffs around. It made it easier for the dark tribe members to get air born, as unlike the soft feather wings-they had a harder time getting air born without a perch. Just like any other creature that was woven with their thick leather wings. turning his head, Toothless smile widened as the Nahtll didn't seem to have a problem getting air borne. That was wonderful! As he looked back to her, his green backed eyes watched as she skillfully spiraled and twisted higher into the sky. It was good to see she was so comfortable in the sky. It sometimes seemed so unnatural for some.
A deep rumble of a wordless sound left Toothless as he was tapped. Shaking his head, as if the little poke had adjusted his fur in some way, his attention turned in front of him. His careful and wide eyes looked to the vast dark mountains ahead of them. The dark tribe.
They were getting close-which was good, as the sun was starting to rise and it's warmth creeping upon their back.
Returning a smile, toothless nudged the sky and his paw untucked to point at the jagged mountains. They where so close now.
Turning his body, his flight patterned changed and started to descend. Just under them was a enclosed landing for dark Kin to enter, that was obscured so no outsiders would be able to enter easily.
Dark paws touched down on the smooth rock, as he rested on the edge of the entrance. Dark tail flicked happily as his head twisted up to look at the Nahtill. His large leather like wings carefully folded behind him. He didn't want the Nahtil flying into the grand structure 'blind', so to speak-as she would have no trouble seeing-but the structure inside was quiet overwhelming-for one that was first seeing it.
Looking from the Nahtll, Toothless looked behind him and over his shoulder to see the progress of the morning sun. They had made it just in time. WC: 342

Wings folded as she dipped and swooped, following behind him as he lead the way towards somewhere. She assumed it was to a safe place, at least she hoped it was. Nothing about him had given her need to worry so she had never once suspected this could end badly. And she wouldn't.
Watching as the scenery changed the two arrived and she landed upon the ledge behind him and then padded forward into the security of the darkness. She watched his gaze at it turned towards the entrance and she saw the sun appearing on the horizon. It would seem that they had made it before they were blinded by the sun. She would have to choose her choice of locations a lot better next time, if there was one anyway.
She returned her gaze to the dark Tah before her and she coked her head slightly. "Thank you." She said with a smile and a nod of her head and flicked her tail behind her as she gazed about the entrance. It was grand in nature and she looked over at him and waited for him to continue leading the way. She truly had no idea where to go from here.

Seeing the sun raise up behind them, Toothless gave the nahtil a smile before his body shifted in a trot ahead of them. Hearing the Nahtil's words, Toothless ear turned back and he paused in mid step. Looking back to her, he Nodded to her and opened his maw in a smile, at least letting her know that he did hear her.
Dark tail shifted behind his body in a little flick before he started forward once more. Entering the large mountain, the two would come upon a ledge that over looked the Underdark that was the Dark Tribe. The Large elegant castle that was the center piece of the mountain, looked to still be under construction, but for the most part finished. Little cave creatures known as bolf floated about the spires in flocks.
Approaching the edge of entrance, Toothless paused and looked over his shoulder to see the reaction to the place he had lead the Nahtil to. His maw closed and his ears perked eagerly. Dark tail swished expectantly behind him.

They had made it just in time it would have appeared as the sun began to rise up behind them as they wandered deeper into the tribes inner workings. Her eyes widened in awe as she took in the sights of the city, especially that of the castle. She almost walked into him she was so caught up in the moment and she stumbled to the side of him so as to not push him over. "Sorry." She said with an apologetic smile. "It's all so wonderful..." Her words trailed off softly and then she gave a small yawn. It was getting late for them to be awake and she shook her head. "Is it okay if I room with you for the day?" She asked him curiously, she could find some more permanent lodging later, but for now she wouldn't mind staying with him for the day.

Toothless's green eyes widened a little as the Nahtlil looked to almost run into him. Habitually, his paws hoped him forward a little bit as his tail shifted to curl around his body. Careful to make sure he was not a stumbling block for her. As Stromfly caught herself, Toothless' head shifted to tilt to the side and his stance relaxed. Ears perked forward as his head raised.
Turning and twisting a ear towards the spire of the cave, as she spoke of 'rooming' with him. What a strange term. Bright green eyes glance to the side, as he put together his thoughts and worked out-by her yawn she was wanting somewhere to sleep. It was getting rather late. Dark tail shifted behind him and full attention was turned on the Nahtlil. With a exaggerated bob of his head, he answered her. the bob of his head was so exaggerated, it caused his whole body to hop slightly, and his tail to wiggle behind him. Just to make sure, that she understood him and his answer...
With that answer, Toothless spun himself and with a leap he dropped into the cave, quickly wings shot open to loft him in a descending glide.

As she watched him she realized he was wanting her to follow him further still and she gave a smile in response and followed him as he lept into the cave. Her own wings flew open as she descended behind him, the updraft lifting her rather efficiently. "This is a very nice place." She said aloud not expecting him to answer as she took in the sights of the area they were in. She hadn't seen the capitol before so this was all so new to her. She had been woven outside the refuge of the cave and thankfully it had been during the wee hours of the night. Or she would have been in trouble. She still wondered what his name was.

Gliding deeper into the capital, Toothless's wings remained out stretched as he drifted toward the center of the cave, where the spire castle rested in all it's majesty. Turning his body slightly, Toothless adjusted and angled his path to a smaller 'castle' that was near the large elegantly carved castle. The two large structures, looked to be still under construction, but even still uncompleted-they held a supernatural beauty of them.
Toothless, didn't look back once to see if the Nahtll had fallowed. He didn't need to, because he could sense her presence behind him. That, and he trusted she would follow. It wasn't long before the ground quickly approached the Tahtlil's paws as he prepared to land. touching down, Toothless let his dark leathery wings fold behind him and rest on his back. Turning his head he looked to see if his friend would land promptly behind him as well. Long dark tilt swished and twitched slowly behind him. Eager green eyes curiously watched the Nahtll as he waited for her to touch down as well.
A wide single ear turned back toward the entrance of a smaller elegant building, as if he heard something. Turning his head toward it, ears perked forward, and his tail stilled. Taking a quick glance back to Stormfly trusting she would follow-Toothless turned his body and with a hop he bounded toward the entrance of the extravagant theater of the dark tribe. Ebony paw steps looped him happily toward the stage.

She trusted him by this point to lead her true and followed behind him, matching his movements with one's of her own. While it was growing clear that he would likely never actually speak to her, she was starting to pick up on his mannerisms. She wasn't exactly dense when it came to such things. Watching as he landed she came into a walk behind him, giving a single flap of her wings backwards to pull her to a stop quicker. Watching him watch her she smiled, he had lovely eyes. They seemed to speak to her in a way. As he looked towards one of the buildings she half expected someone else to walk out, but instead he bounded towards it and she grinned. She loved his exuberance, it was enlightening. Following behind him she bounded along, though not quite like he had though. Her gaze fell upon the stage and she was quite impressed with the structure of it, and the details of the surrounding structures. "It's very lovely." She commented.

As the Nantlil spoke, Toothless turned an ear back and craned his head to look over his dark wings at her. Pausing he gave her a heavy nod of her head, that almost seemed to bob his whole body. YES! it was very lovely! Stopping in front of the stage, Toothless's tail whipped behind him and with a little wiggle of his hunches he hopped on the platform of the grand theater.
Hopping further on to the strage, Toothless sharply turned his body around and quickly lowered his head to rest on his paws as his upper half laid down. Large green eyes looked to Nantlil, as his long tail swished back behind him. He wanted to see her full reaction of his favorite place, it was also one of the number one places to sleep. He liked perching up in the rafters, and the early morning light had no doubt already started to shine over the mountain of the dark tribe.
Dark pointy ears perked and eagerly listened to see if his friend and the hooked one had be around. They usually could be found around and about the theater

It would seem they had further to go and she widened her eyes in awe as she took in the wonders around them. She wished he was able to speak to her in words, but she found that his mannerisms and way of communicating were quite endearing and she liked it a great deal. He wasn't like anyone she'd met before, then again she hadn't met anyone else before him so he was the first. She assumed most were like her and could speak with words and he was just woven uniquely, the Weaver had a plan for them all. Even if it didn't seem like it at first. Whipping her tail behind her she looked up to the rafters where he was perched and gave him a big smile. "It's a beautiful place, thank you for leading the way for me." Giving a yawn she was starting to feel the effects of the day as it began to start and the night had ended. "Will we be staying here for the day? Or is there a place to sleep." She asked him.

Dark ears twitched and flicked, there was no sound of Chronos or the hooked one it seemed. As Stormfly spoke, Dark ears turned back to her, and so did his bright green eyes. Toothless raised his to his paws and nodded sharply to his new friend, dark swishy tail shifted trough the air as he looked around. With a hop he trotted around the stage.
She could sleep where ever she wanted.
Stopping, he looked at her and raised a paw to his chest, before raising it to the rafters. His head tilted to the side and his eyes closed and he took in a exaggerated breath in and out.
Opening his eyes, he looked back to Stormfly and pointed to her with the same paw and then gestured to the stage. Setting his paw down he then took a glance upward. He then offered a shrug. it was up to her where she wanted to sleep. He liked the rafters.
