First meeting of Dooma's Hantei Cheobeol  and  Rehang Chiisai's M'hurkh

The days such seemed to drone on and one when there was no one to play with. A dirt colored male with stars all over his body and long duel colored hair pulled back into a loose pony tail, wandered around the water front of a large stream. Hantei Cheobeol had not had living entertainment in months and he was itching for a fix of a living play thing. The scared male walked calmly golden eyes scanning his surroundings in a mock lazy manner, his steps were graceful and silently with the skills of one who stalked for a living. Despite his scars he was beautiful in a regal sultry way.
He stretched his muscular body as he stopped and looked out more over the water. Hopefully today would provide him something to pass this time with.

Dooma's search of the water wouldn't be left empty for long, although the result was probably far from what was expected. The dorsal fin of a noodle rested at an almost limp hold, alongside a pair of matching ears, yellow with black tips. At the front of the dorsal fin protruded a sharp, jagged blade, fresh bits of red fluid clinging to the thing like they belonged there. A black and almost-salmon-orange tail dangled in the water behind him, moving slowly with the water, and for a long moment, it looked like the noodle might have expired.
A sudden motion in the noodle perked the dorsal and set the water churning as the respective noodle dove, and then resurfaced to float similarly, but on his belly this time, trying to fit a large river fish through the too-small port on his skullcap.
After a moment, the noodle growled at the fish. "M'hurKhy gonna eat you fish! Get in!" he growled, and raked his claws across the fish to give it a clumsy fileting. The fish gave one more attempt at flopping, then fell limp as the noodle draped one morbid half of the fish over the top of what was apparently a harpoon jammed through his ribcage, pushing the other half of the fish through the port on his skullcap with fewer problems, taking a bite of the fish, bones and all.

Hantei’s eyes had been drawn to a bright form in the water with crimson blood spilling form it's form into the water. He watched the seemingly dead body for a moment then it flailed into life. Hantei found himself a tad curious at the death throws but then he saw that in stead of death throws it was in fact hunting.
Sitting back on the shore the dusty looking male watched the successful nabbing and quick filleting the fish. What a strange noodle this skull faced male was. And it was in fact it was strangely amusing. He felt a smirk cross his pale lips and sat watching him with his paws as he watched the bloody scene before him. He had to admit that this was something he had never seen such a thing before. And that was a first.
He waited for the aquatic one to finish his meal then spoke, “Get your fill then?”

M'hurKh perked, disturbing the water as he sat up, half his toes in his maw, until he found Hantei. "Ooh! Hi furpretty!" he cooed, shifting onto his gut again and taking a moment to wash it, before he propelled himself towards the shore, showing off that harpoon blade again. "I filled it and et' it." He grinned stupidly. "So, furpretty is pretty. What can M'hurKhy do for to help the furpretty? Does furpretty want fish? M'hurKh can get lots'a fish." He didn't seem to realize, or perhaps care, that he'd just chugged a fairly large one, let alone that he might have been seen doing it.

Hantei could not help but smirk as it took the aquatic male quite some time to spot him. He was slightly amused but he bewildered paw in mouth search attempt but then hearing the way the other spoke Hantei could not help but rolls his eyes. So it seemed this one was of more of a simple minded male. He could use that but it was not as fun or challenging as those who held themselves in a more prideful air. He watched as the impaled creature moved surprisingly quickly to the shore. "I can see you ate it well and good...though it appear half of it still wriggles from your adornment."
He shifted back a bit as M'hurkh moved closer to him, he did not feel like getting wet just yet, "Alas I do not eat my fish raw and it looks like you could use one or two more fish." he did though reach out to place his paw atop the bloody tip of the harpoon that protruded from the back of the aquatic male. "A recent souvenir of your fishing?" he asked giving it a slight wriggle to see if it instilled pain in the other male.

The blood there was gel-like under Hantei's paw, and M'hurKh let him touch it, distracted with the half of th efish he'd apparently forgotten, sitting back to nom at it as though by Hantei's invitation. The fox could see a jump in the muscles, but if M'hurKh could feel it, he gave no indication, perhaps even oblivious to it. He churred as he peered back at his new companion and the harpoon, tilting his head. "Ohhh, the stick. It's not recent, but getting it's fuzzy. M'hurKh thinks he was fishing, or helping fish, or fighting water dragons - they exist, you know, even the sharp teeth're afraid of them - but can't remember." He shrugged, unworried, and licked his paws clean of the fish remnants.

How very interesting it seemed that the aquatic male's body responded even if the noodle did not register the pain. he wondered if that was true all over the body or just at this mortal wound. How very interesting. Interest was not something Hantei felt often. He was also so close to the other male "A water dragon huh? What a brave male to be finishing and facing dragons." he smirked and he let his paw slide to one of the smaller fish hooks in the other shoulder and gave a tug to see if that would cause pain. He gave it a sturdy tug and waited for the other's reaction again.

M'hurKh tilted his head at the other noodle. He wasn't quite sure the comment was truly felt, but he pushed the thought off as his imagination. "Well, M'hurKhy's not for sure, M'hurKh don't remember, 'xactly." Something registered in the noodle's expression, but it didn't exactly resemble pain, per se. His lower lip jutted out, and he tried to shift out of the other noodle's grip. "No. That's M'hurKh's pretty! The fishies like them, make them easier to catch." His reaction was more discomfort than pain, despite the tiny, fresh little bead of dark fluid that bubbled against the hook's steel curve. "M'hurKh will catch you a fish if you want, but you can't have M'hurKh's fishpretties." He pouted.

Hantei watched the reaction, he liked the pooling of blood but he was rather disappointed that the reaction was more of a spoil child not wanting a toy taken away than of pain. Well at least some it seemed to be a source that got a reaction from M'hurKh. "I was not trying to steal your pretties. Just get a closer look at them. Seems that it would get more you than the fish with the positioning." He was sure that the other would not get his meaning.
"Like I have said before. I have no interest in raw fish. I can not really stand the flavor or texture of raw fish. Though raw flesh is fine of course. Looks like you like eating them still alive though."

M'hurKh tilted his head at Hantei, looking at his hooks. "Oh... That's okay, then." He cooed, apparently appeased. He smiled jauntily up at the other noodle and tilted his head. "Fishies come for the sparklies and the stringlies when M'hurKh is still. They stay cuz M'hurKh catches them." He looked beyond proud of his 'work'. "And fishies is better freshest. The wiggly is the freshestest, so the bestly tasting." He thought for a moment. "Some furpretties cooks the fishies M'hurKh gives them. Has you tried the fishies off the fires?"

Hantei found himself growing a bit less amused with this aquatic male. He shook his head, "I am not a fan of fish cooked or other wise. I prefer the flesh of land creatures more, and those I can eat raw or cooked fire or no fire." He said flatly watching the other male now. His eyes were rather judgmental as he watched the skull and hooked covered male. He was a strange one for sure.

M'hurKh hummed and tilted his head sideways. "Huh. M'hurKh not has had much land creature flesh. M'hurKh isn't so good at catching those." He didn't seem to wonder if it might be his volume, or maybe even the 'volume' of his pelt. "Fishies are much easier for M'hurKh. They just come right over." He smiled and shrugged. "The groundy beasties just runs away. Not likes M'hurKh much." He didn't really look all that put out about it,
