She had been wandering for a while, lost in the roguelands for quite some time. She hadn't felt this before, this depression which caused her to hardly remember where she had been and not to care where she was going. She had lost her mate. She felt as if she had lost her purpose. That led her to travel, not staying at any place for very long. She did what she had to to survive and that was about it. She didn't know what else to do at that point.
It had been a while, but she eventually found herself in an area that was colder. And with some small white blankets on the ground, gradually becoming bigger as she continued to move towards the mountains in the distance. This was new to her, snow. Cold to the touch but easy enough to move in, so far at least.
Finally, she had gotten closer to the base of the mountain. Here she had seen more paw prints, what looked to be lions and... hares. There sure seemed to be a lot of them. She sighed, sitting near a tree, resting a bit before she continued on her journey.

Unlike the other lion, Azuka was in a cheerful mood as ever. He started to hum some random tune in his head that he wasn't quite sure where it came from, but it had a good Rhythm. A silly grin was a cross his face as he moved along, not a care in the world for the moment. Though he couldn't wonder too far from the main area of the pride.
He didn't notice the lioness at first, though her gray stood out a bit better now that he was use to the snow and the colors. It was easy for him to spot new lions here and there. He moved towards her with a smile on his face oblivious to if she was sad or not. "Good morning!" he said to her. She was a face he had not recognized, but he was fairly new to this area as well.

Hadiya had closed her eyes for a moment before hearing something coming toward her. She opened them again to see a lion coming her way. He didn't seem to be approaching in a way that suggested he was going to attack, so she stayed in her relaxed stance. She noticed that he was quite good looking, especially the gray and blue pattern on his coat.
Soon enough the lion had greeted her. He looked quite happy. Perhaps that meant he knew the area? He probably wouldn't have enough self-confidence otherwise to approach a stranger. "Good morning." She replied, although a bit weary as hadn't slept that well for a while. "Could you tell me where I am? I just entered the area."

He could answer that question with ease, thankfully. Normally he wasn't good with questions, at least hard ones. He could answer personal ones with ease, and sometimes directions, but not often on that one. "Well, You're in the Schnee la Neige'milima lands." He said as he looked towards the mountain before them.
"This place is protected by a goddess that keeps it snowy all year round." He said with a nod. She blessed them with this gift of snow, and it was what made this place beautiful. He had gone from one mountain to another. Though this one was a bit more snow. He did miss his family, but he knew they would understand. He had gotten lost on his naming quest, and was trying to find his way back but happened to go to the wrong mountain. But instead of leaving, he stayed.
"It's a little slice of heaven, if I don't say so myself." He looked back to the lioness. "I'm Azuka." He said with a nod, It was quite different from his original name, but this one seemed to suit him better. Just like this land seemed to feel more at home than his last. "All lions and hares are welcome." As long as they don't cause any trouble, though even he knew that it was impossible. Or at least that was what he was told. He just went with it. Only those who truly needed to find this place did.

Hadiya listened to the lion as he described where they were. Schnee la Neige'milima? She would have to ask about that. And a goddess? She was surprised. Being out in the rogue lands she had never really thought about gods and goddess. So she was surprised to learn that there were those that worshiped them. She shouldn't have been surprised though, there were many unexplained things that happened in the lands.
"I'm Hadiya." She replied, finally smiling. She could relax here, and maybe stay here while she figured out what to do next. She got up and stretched, feeling a bit more energized. "Well Azuka, if you don't mind, could you possibly show me around? I'd like to know more about these lands."

Azuka was no guard, but he knew a bit around the lands. At least the parts close to where most the pride resided. "Of course, though I can't go too far" He said with a nod. It was a known thing that if you had no hare, you could not leave alone. It was dangerous to wonder alone, even in protected lands. "We're not allowed to wonder from the pride too far." He told her. "I don't have a hare yet."
Sometimes he forgot that some lions didn't understand rules of the pride yet. It took a bit to get everything down. "See, it's dangerous to travel alone, so we're only able to venture long distances if we have a companion." Or more than one lion. Those who hunted, like himself, were able to do it in a large group, but that was because they were all together and not alone. Some even had hares with them that helped.
"Have you ever seen hot springs?" He asked her.

Hadiya smiled. At least he was willing. She wanted to know more about this place. And hares? She hadn't really seen any of those though she had heard of them. Interesting, they must have some sort of agreement with them then or something if the lions weren't capturing them. And they must be good if they used them to navigate these mountains, though she didn't know about the dangers of a place like this.
"Thank you for showing me around then." She replied smiling. "And no, I've never seen a hot springs. Does it hurt?" She figured the springs must be some sort of hot water and she was surprised one would be able to find anything warm in a place like this.

He chuckled. "Of course they don't." At least the ones he knew of didn't. "They're not really hot, we just call them that cause they're warmer than cold water." He said with a smile. He started moving towards the caves that they reside in. He looked at her and decided she was good enough to know where the pride was, she seemed friendly and possibly in need of their hospitality.
"They're warm from the earth" he explained, not that he totally knew how they stayed warm. "They keep the caves warm for us since it's so cold out here." Though the longer you lived in the area, the less cold it seemed. Did help that his fur was fluffy to begin with. So he wasn't quite taken back from the cold as some that arrived.
"It makes it easier to live out here." He said as he could see the caves in the distance. "not much further" Luckily most the hot springs weren't deep so they could just chill in the water, or out of the water worked too. He wasn't sure if she liked water.

Hadiya followed Azuka through the pride land and eventually towards the caves as she listened to his description of the hot springs. It made sense, at least from what he was telling her. "Interesting. I've never heard of anything like it. It's amazing what can happen in all of these areas." She had never been to such a cold place, but was pleased to learn that there were ways and places to live and survive here.
It looked like a cold and uninviting place, but somehow this group had made a living out here and with an alliance with what would usually be considered prey too. It was becoming more appealing the more she learned about this area.

He nodded, even if not directly looking at her. "It keeps the caves warm so we can settle down and sleep well." He added, in case he didn't say that before. It was more inviting that one might think. While outsiders saw no end to the snow, those who lived in the pride were welcoming of each snow fall. Every day was a celebration of what was given to them. He, like her, saw it at first as a dreaded place, but once he got use to everything all he saw was a gorgeous salvation haven.
As they neared the entrance of the cave, he stopped and turned towards her. "Now, are you ready to get out of the cold?" He asked her with a smile.

Hadiya continued to look around as they walked. It was white everywhere you looked, with only a few trees dotted here and there. She wondered what kind of prey might be here. She mumbled an "interesting" when the other lion told of how the caves stayed warm.
As Azuka stopped she stopped also and watched him turn around. She chuckled a bit at his question. "That sounds good to me. I would like to see the caves very much." She had never really been inside caves before except for a few of the small ones that she had found at various points, but nothing more complicated.

Azuka grinned. He was glad she was wanting to see them. He lead her straight to the closest opening. "Now you don't have to go into the warm water, " he started to tell her before entering where the hotsprings lay within. "But I do say it feels quite nice, especially after a cold day." Not that this was a cold day to him. It was fairly nice, but he could see that she was probably not on the same page.
"I'd wait to go in though." he told her. "If you go in right after coming out of the cold it can do some damage on your body." He didn't want to see her go into shock. "Sitting next to it for a bit to warm up first, then entering is the trick." He was sure that she would appropriate that now than find out how bad it was to just plunge in. You could feel the heat coming out from with in the cave.
"After you" He said as he bowed his head towards her waiting for her to enter first. He didn't hear anyone in there, so it was safe to say they would be alone. That will allow her to heat up and get comfortable before being introduced to the rest of the pride. Then she could decide if she liked the place or not. He hoped so, she was nice, and pretty.

Hadiya nodded at his instructions, thankful that she was finally getting to someplace warm. It was nice to feel it on the under sides of her paws again and she could shake off some of the melted snow that was on her front legs. "Thank you, again. I'm not sure how long I would have survived out there if you hadn't found me." She would have had to come back the way she came, but at this point she wasn't sure if she would have been able to do that.
She entered after murmuring a small 'thank you' to him and she walked into the darkness that the cave offered. It took her a little bit for her eyes to adjust, but they did and she moved off to the side so she could look around without blocking the entrance. It was... different from what she was used to. She could tell the caves were quite big. She had never been in one so large and that had other tunnels. She was used to just staying in a smaller cave where the entrance was just a few paces from the back wall.
Maybe... she could get used to living here. Although she hadn't met anyone else, with Azuka she felt as though the rest of the pride would welcome her in like he did and that she wouldn't have to look any longer for a place to live.I Lady Kiya I You're fine! If you want to end it at your next one that's fine or we can keep going. 3nodding

"Well, I found you." he said with a smile "Don't think about what could have happened, just what did happen." It made things a lot easier that way. He didn't want her to be frightened of the snow, after all, it was so gorgeous. Sure, there were things to worry about when it came to this area, but for the most part it wasn't so bad.
He smiled at her and shook his fur off. "Don't be afraid to wonder around in here either." he told her. "Everyone is friendly." Well, not everyone, there were a few that were more grumpy than they had the right to be, but they still were welcoming for the most part. He gave her a cheesy smile. "And if you need anything, just come find me."
He figured he'd let her adjust a bit and let her find things on her own now. He didn't want to make her feel like a prisoner or anything. "If you wish, I will leave you alone now." he said not making any movement to leave just yet. He wanted to make sure she was good and didn't need anything before he left her to herself. Or if she requested him to stay, he'd be more than happy to do that too. She was a damsel in distress after all, maybe he was prince charming?

Hadiya smiled warmly at him, though through somewhat closed eyes. She was starting to feel very tired now. Probably the stress of getting lost had finally caught up to her.
"Thank you, I think I'll stay here for right now. I just need to rest a bit. After that if you're not here again I'll go and lose myself a bit in the caves." She replied, laughing a bit. She didn't mean to get lost of course, but she would feel better if she was exploring with someone she knew. Hopefully he would be back here by then but she didn't want to bother him by waiting for her to take a nap.
"You don't have to leave if you don't want, but if you're not tired it might be a bit boring to watch someone else sleep. If you have other things you need to do you can do those. I'll probably still be here by the time you get back and then you can show me more around the pride if you want." She said, laying down and putting her head on her front paws. The ground was quite warm. She would be able to sleep easily.
