Today's training brought Edana out to the rogue lands. Training in her pride was usually a lot of fun, but sometimes it was more interesting to do some exploring. She was used to seeing the same few faces again and again. In the rogue lands she would have the chance to challenge herself against others with different fighting styles then those of her pride.

So far she hadn't met anyone to fight, but that was fine by her. Instead she worked on her endurance. She would do long stretches of running, then catch her breath and do some stretches before returning to her run.

During one of her runs, she spotted a blue and white cheetah in the distance. She slowed down long enough to get a good look at him. Swiftly, she changed directions so she was running toward him. 'I wonder what he'll be like' she thought as she slowed down as she approaching, eventually coming to a stop. She gave him a friendly grin. “Hello there,” she said before letting out a heavy pant.

Edana gave a wide grin when he showed he was friendly. “Nice to meet you Fuda! My name is Edana.” She greeted and sat down. For a little bit, she could take a break and have a conversation. She noticed that he seemed tired and wondered if he had been doing some training like she had.

“Are you from around here?” She asked curiously, wondering if he was from a near by pride or just a traveler. She had ran a long distance away from her own pride. Some prides did not like intruders on their lands and she did not want to upset other prides. “This area is all new to me. I was going to do some training today and I guess I got carried away and ended up traveling further than I originally planned to.”

Edana frowned. “Well it's no good to be on an empty stomach! Why don't I help you catch something?” She suggested. Before she became a fighter, she had been a hunter for the pride. She wasn't the greatest, but she could still help out if she needed to.

When he asked why she trained, she gave a wide smile. “Well, I have to train in order to stay as one of the top fighters in my pride!” It was a difficult achievement being one of the Valkyrie in her pride. Other pride members looked up to her. She couldn't fail them by being weak. “I got tired of practicing in my pride, so I thought I would venture out and see if I could find a worthy opponent else where. So far I haven't had much luck.”

She wasn't terribly disappointed, after all she was still getting a good amount of exercise out of her little adventure.

“You are probably just having an unlucky day with hunting. It happens to everyone.” Edana responded with a smile. “With the two of us working together, we'll get a meal caught in no time!” Her long tail, flicked back and forth with excitement. It had been too long since she hunted.

When he mentioned her training, she gave a shrug. “I can get a good leg stretch in most likely as well as practice taking down an opponent. It's not quite like a real fight since it is so one sided, but it will still count as training I think.”

Her face lightened up when he asked about her pride. “Oh its wonderful! It is called Bliksem'Maagden. We have warriors, called Valkyrie. Some train their whole lives to become one. I was honored the day I became one.” She was practically beaming when she spoke. “But I understand that the pride life isn't for everyone. There is something appealing about living outside of a pride. It's complete freedom.”

“Awww that's a shame. I feel like pride should be about unity and family.” She said. She knew that she really lucked out in the pride department. The idea of being stuck in a pride that were cruel to any outsiders didn't settle well with her. “If you would like, you could follow me. I saw a really good hunting spot on my way here.”

So far Edana had enjoyed her time with Fudu. It was surprisingly fun hanging out with a rogue cheetah. “Maybe after we finish hunting, you could tell me stories about your time in the rogue lands? This is about as I have ever been from my pride. I really don't know much about the rogue lands.”

Edana nodded her head. “Certainly, let's get going! You can tell me more about yourself and your family after we finish the hunt” She said, gearing up to lead the way. Finding some nice prey to catch was her top priority. Once they caught something for Fudu to eat, she would take the time to get to know him better.

“Follow me!” She said before taking off at a slower pace, now wanting to tire Fudu out before they even had a chance to hunt.
