He was still young and had much to learn in the world and his pride, but he wasn't wanting to spend all of his time training so he had decided to go on a little adventure into the rouge lands. Sneaking away from his mother was harder than it looked, she was a tough one. But she did it out of love. Well, at least Jabari, Hadeth was a darling dear and honestly he loved both of his mothers. The leotah was such a tender and caring female and he felt it a shame that she would never be able to have kids of her own, but at least Jabari was kind enough to have kids for Hadeth to raise.

He flicked his tail slightly as he padded along and his rainbow colored mane contrast brightly against his silver frame. It was late evening, almost dusk and he was in a mildly grassy area and he was hoping to see some fireflies. They were quite common in his pride, especially in the early morning or late evenings so he laid down patiently in a rather nice looking spot and waited cautiously for any to start appearing in the sky.

Anga looked around from where she was. She had wandered away from her sisters a couple of days ago, just wanting to have some quiet time to herself. She knew she couldn't stay alone for long in the rogue lands, every day was a battle for survival here. But she had still needed the break.

It was getting darker out. It would be a great time to hunt, though she was a bit more vulnerable because of her bright coloring. Perhaps she could hunt from the shadows. However, something caught her attention. There seemed to be a lighter colored lion out her, one with a rainbow mane, laying down in the grass. She was curious as to why a lion would be doing that, especially with no one else around.

She was curious and so moved a bit closer. At this point she could tell that the lion had not quite reached adulthood. No wonder he was laying out here. Silly thing didn't know any better. She almost snorted. She walked closer to him, and decided she would talk to him. Hopefully that meant that he could see how vulnerable he was out here. It's not that she was angry, but taking care of her sisters had taught her to be a little protective not only of them, but of younger, perhaps less knowledgeable lions.

She was finally close enough. "Is there a reason you're out here all alone?" She asked.

Head and eyes turned to follow the sound of the females voice and he set his eyes upon her. He didn't know her, she wasn't part of the pride. He wondered if she knew she was on the prides boarders. Though, he was likely in the rougelands a little bit, but either way, his pride was right there. "If you'd care to join me, I'll show you." He said with a sly smile as he glanced around for a moment to see if any of the fireflies had started to come out. He stood up for a moment to greet her formally though, as it was customary to him to greet a female in such a manner.

He turned to face her and gave a small bow of his head as he stated his name. "My name is Cheveyo, what might you be called?" He asked her curiously. She was quite stunning and he couldn't help but admire her for a moment thoughtfully. "It's quite safe here where we are." He said then, hoping to at least assure her that there was no need to fret while she was in this area.

Anga looked at the male a little suspiciously. She didn't think he could hurt her, at least not that badly. A small smile broke onto her face as he invited her to join him. What was he up to? You never knew when you were out and about in the rogue lands. Especially if you accidentally wandered onto some pride land.

She backed away a bit as the other got up and looked at the lion more closely, nothing that he could be called "a bit cute" at least to her. When he had introduced himself she returned the bow and said "I'm Anga Mrengo but you can just call me Anga." If they were introducing themselves to each other, then she became more at ease, especially with his reassurance. She sighed, sitting down and looking around. "Well then... what are you doing out here? And alone?" She asked? Once again her protectiveness was coming out a bit.

He honestly couldn't say he understood where she was coming from. He was born and raised in the pride and his mother was a veteran fighter so despite his not looking tough, he could hold his own pretty well. "It's a pleasure to meet you Anga." He said with a warm smile as he sat back down and returned his gaze to the field before him. "Waiting to watch the fireflies. We have members of my pride that like to capture them." He said with a small nod.

"It's not often that I get out and away from my mother and her training, so that's actually why I'm out here alone." He said to her with a nod of his head as his eyes finally locked on one of the blinking green/yellow lights of a firefly as they slowly started to pop up from the grass.

She smiled a bit as she heard his reason. She had done that with her sisters some times. They hadn't known their parents and only had each other for the longest time, and watching the fireflies in the area she grew up in and having catching competitions between the 3 of them. She laughed softly as she looked away from the male and in the direction that he was facing.

She looked back at him again when he spoke. So he lived in the area and he was at least training what she assumed to be some sort of fighting or defense. "My sisters and I are rogues so I'm just visiting the area. Does this land belong to a pride then?" She asked, watching as more glowing lights start to come from the grass and swirl around.

As the fireflies danced up and flew around he gazed over at her as she asked about the lands. "It must be nice being able to travel with your siblings like that." He said to her with a nod. "We're right on boarders of my pride I believe." He said looking around in the fading light. Yes, they were right along the boarders. Either way they were safe here. "Where are you and your sisters from? If you don't mind me asking." He said looking at her as he spoke. He always found it best to address others to their face then talk into the space away from them.

His tail swished slightly in the grass behind him and he watched as a couple fireflies danced near them in the sky. They were relaxing to watch and it felt nice to just sit and do nothing for once. The more he thought about it, the more he realized him and his brother spent a great deal of time training, though it wasn't a bad thing. At least not in his mind. Plus there was always hadeth. She was way more docile than their mother. She was a breath of fresh air to him.

She sighed looking about, almost falling asleep. It was quite peaceful here. She looked back at the other lion. "We've always been in the rogue lands. Not too far from here, it was about half a day's walk from where they are right now." She smiled a bit thinking of her sisters again. She had at least told them that she would be out and about.

"It is quite relaxing out here at night. At least when one isn't trying to hunt for food." She said, almost in a whisper as she looked back at the fireflies going about. They wouldn't be out long unfortunately.

He watched her as she made herself comfortable and and listened as she said that they had always lived in the rouge lands. He couldn't fathom having grown up in the rouge lands his entire life. The pride filled his life with so much, it would seem strange to only have his brother and mothers. It would almost seem empty in a sense. "Well I'm glad to hear they aren't too far away from where we are now." He said thinking about their situation a little bit. Should he offer them a place to stay for a few nights? They'd have food and not have to worry about dangers.

"Yes, yes it is." He gave a nod at her words and watched the fireflies dancing around in the night and glanced over at her. "If you and your sisters want," He said in a hushed tone, "You can stay in my pride for a few nights." He offered her.

She barely heard him but heard enough to know that Ceveyo was offering her and her sisters a place to stay. At least for a bit. Anga thought about it. She wasn't sure if her sisters would be up to it and didn't know if she wanted it herself. One part of it was a place to stay for a while. The other part was in a pride she didn't know about and wasn't sure she would be able to get out of. She had heard of other prides who captured slaves, and she knew that she didn't want to be a part of that.

She felt the breeze along her face and noticed how cool it was getting. The fireflies were becoming less bright too. It would be nice if she had somewhere to stay, though her sisters were not with her right now. And she was a few days away from them. They would probably be in their usual spot when she got back.

She decided. If it was a bad pride she would just have to fight her way out. "My sisters are a bit away from here, but they don't expect me back there anytime soon. I could stay for a while and see what it's like." She replied, smiling a bit.

He nodded his head slightly as she said that she would take up his offer and stay for a while. He was pleased to hear that her siblings weren't expecting her back for a few days. Perhaps he could show her around. Though... He would have to blindfold her if they went to the pride as it was a secret to outsiders. He supposed he should have told her about that before hand. He watched as the fireflies started to slow down and return to the safety of the leaves and blades of grass and he stood up shaking himself slightly. He could lead her to a spot outside of the pride and go fetch a blindfold and bring it back. Or have her close her eyes and he could just lead her there. "I'm pleased that they won't be worried about you. Though there is something I probably should have told you before hand... I kinda have to have you close your eyes once we get close because outsiders can't know the location of our pride." He said to her with a "please don't hurt me" look on his face.

She snorted a bit as this new information, mostly to hide her nervousness. This was not what she agreed to. Or at least this isn't something she wanted to do, as she didn't know if she would get stuck in this pride or not. She knew there were some prides that did such things, though more violently.

She sat up and glared at him a bit. At least he looked a bit sorry. "Well then, I'm going to need some proof that I'll be allowed out when I want to. I don't want to be stuck somewhere that I don't care for." Or that she didn't agree with. She wasn't up for a ton of violence.

He figured he was going to be answered with that kind of a response. "I don't suppose the fact that I'm one of the few noble offspring wouldn't make a difference would it?" He said wondering if that would make any kind of a change to her current hesitation. "I swear on my honor that you can be allowed to leave whenever you wish." He hoped she'd at least take his word for face value, even if it wasn't much to go off of. "Our pride is surrounded by a labyrinth, so I'd have to escort you in and out so you don't get lost.. I guess you don't have to be blindfolded. You're not going to come back later with an army and attack us or anything are you?" He asked her curiously.

She smiled, at least he was trying. And he was making it convincing. "All right, but I need to be able to leave when I want, even if that's tomorrow. I won't force you to do it if you're in the middle of something important. Though if you make me stay too long, my sisters might try to come find me and fight for me freedom." She smirked at him. They didn't have an army, but they protected each other, even if they weren't together all of the time. "I can close my eyes though if your other pride members would feel more comfortable." She still had a nose after all.

He was pleased that she was still willing to come to his pride, even though there was some secrecy to them. It was just really for the safety of the pride and it's members they were like this. "You will be able to leave whenever you like. We also have extra sleeping quarters so you don't have to feel crowded at all." He said standing up and shaking a few blades of grass from his pelt. "You don't have to close your eyes yet or anything. I'll let you know, but if you would like, we can head that way now." He said preparing to lead the way.
