"Mom, where are we going?" The silver male looked over towards his mother and then back around as they walked through the labyrinth that surrounded their pride.

"You will see soon my dearest one, soon." She replied warmly as she gazed fondly over towards her son. While Cheveyo and Seve weren't her's by birth they were hers none the less and loved them as such. As far as they were concerned they were both their parents and that was all that he needed to know.

Glancing over towards his mother he smiled. He very much enjoyed the time he spent with her and she knew that, at least he hoped she did. Jabari was all about making sure they were strong and mentally prepared for anything. Hadeth liked to make sure they just lived life. It was interesting to him that the two of them were such a unique couple in that way. They both had such different views on life but cared for one another so deeply. It was endearing to him.

He'd of course never say that out loud.

"I'm excited to see where we might go." He said with a flick of his tail as he followed beside his mother. It was funny that he wasn't even fully grown and towered over her a great deal. He loved how dainty she seemed. It made him almost want to take care of her and make sure nothing happened to her.

Hadeth couldn't help but feel the love swell in her chest towards her son. She was fairly certain these were the only cubs her and Jabari would ever have. Though she was certain they might adopt some more in the future. She would never ask Jabari to carry cubs for her again. Once was more than enough. She was quite content with taking on orphans from this point on. "I'm sure you'll love where we are going."

Cheveyo was always such a curious cub and wanted to know everything in life so Hadeth had decided today she'd take him outside of the pride and see what all was to be offered. She knew it was just a simple trip but it would have such a huge and lasting effect on him and that thought alone made her smile. "How is training with your brother going?" She asked him curiously. She tended to stay out of the rigorous exercises Jabari had him and Seve doing.

He looked over towards her, "Oh they're going alright. Sometimes I fee like we might not need to know everything that she's teaching us but then at the same time I feel like it might be something we may need to know for later." He realized that was a little more lengthy than he had thought it would be but didn't really let that get to him.

Hadeth chuckled, "Your mother can surely be a bit stubborn at times, but don't let that worry you.." She said with a nod of her head. "She means well and wants nothing but the best for you guys. Just as I want nothing but the best for you both." Her voice was warm and she felt the warmth of her son against her then.

Cheveyo gave his mother a bit of a love hug as they walked through the maze and then pulled away as they rounded a corner and he spotted the light towards the end. This was an area he hadn't been to before and he turned towards her, face bright with excitement. "We're not!? Are we? We're leaving the pride?" He asked a little more excited than he should be as he bounded ahead a little bit.

"Yes we are."She said so happy to see her son excited. "Be careful." She cautioned him as she caught up to him and then they were in the light.

The longest part about their pride was the maze entering and exiting it. If you didn't follow the right path you could get lost or even worse. Though they of course had ways to signal if you got turned around, however those were only known to pride members. She'd teach them to him tomorrow most likely since she traveled through them quite a bit.

"There is so much stuff out here." The young male said standing with a look around in wide wonder. This was truly something else and he was extremely excited about the whole thing.

"One day you'll be able to see it all, but for now we're going to a small spot not too far from here." She said leading the way for him. He followed beside his mother quickly and gave a deep smile and couldn't help but almost dance around with high steps. He was like an energetic cub at the moment and didn't care.

"What are we going to do there?" He honestly didn't care if it was nothing at all and he raced forward and then back and continued to walk along her at a steady pace. "We're just going to look at some stuff, that's all." She said with a wink at him. She didn't want to spoil all the fun for him after all.

He gave a bit of a frown but quickly smiled, he could understand that. He was already more than excited as it was. He didn't care what it was they were about to see or do. It was just the simple fact that they were outside of the pride!

Hadeth looked around and smiled when the flower field came into view. "Here we are." She said as they came into full view of the meadow of colors. "Oh wow." Was the only thing that escaped his lips. He had a thing for flowers, while it wasn't something he openly broad cast it was something Hadeth knew well. "Oh my, I love it. There are so many flowers!" He said dashing forward to smell them and look at them. "thank you so much for taking me here." He said happy to see so many different flowers.

The two of them spent most of the day there, cataloging the different types and then once it got late they returned home.
