As an Angel or Demon, respectively, there are goals to accomplish. It works the same in heaven and hell- twenty years of learning how to help a human. Whether it's helping a drug lord expand his empire or helping a philanthropist expand his charity, we all learn how to track a good/bad seed and help them on their path to their good/evil destiny. Once you pick a human at your twenty-first year, that's it. If you fail to bring that human to your side, you become a human yourself. If you succeed, you become a full-fledged angel or demon.
Now meet Tyler Ramone. Seventeen year old boy who helped raise his family's church up for all the years while prospective angel students watched, just waiting for the day they could claim him. The month before the twenty-first year, Tyler grew tired of always being the "nice church boy" and rebelled, sinking into drugs and robbery. Demons cheered- this would be an easy fix. Until word spread that one angel had not given up.
Now one angel and one demon will fight over which side Tyler should choose, while they try and face their fate of a human life for the loser. Good or Evil?
The story starts on the first day of the twenty-first year. At the end of the choosing ceremony for both heaven and hell.Tyler lives in Chicago, 2012.

☾ Gabriella Ryans ☽ Age: 24 Race: Demon Personality: Gaby was raised to be a b***h. She is sarcastic and rude and is hard to connect to, but once you do, she's loyal. Once she's committed to something there's no going back. Biography: Gaby was always the one to beat amongst all demons. She used her teeth to convince prey and always came out on top. She was bored, looking for a challenge when Tyler appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Angel or not fighting for him, no one could bring humans to the dark side quite like Gaby.
Joshua Clements Age: 24 Race: Angel Personality: Joshua has never been one to give up on people, which has caused him to get himself into trouble more than once. He's kind and always willing to help someone. Once he considers someone a friend, he's extremely loyal and is always there to help them out. Biography: Joshua has never really been popular among the angels, especially after the first 'incident'. When he noticed everyone giving up on a boy named Tyler, Josh refused to turn down the chance to help the boy, even if a demon were to go after him.

☾ Gabriella Ryans ☽
┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓ Gabriella smiled at her parents standing across the room. This is what she had worked her whole for, and choosing day was finally here. She had been researching for months and had her heart set on Richard Evans, a famous pop-star that had experimented with weed a little. Soon, his trial with weed will become a full-on meth addiction, and the power to influence others made Gaby a little drunk with power- not that she didn't prefer a more tequila type of drunk. She sat with others in her class, but they were only at 'A's. The 'R's would be much later, however everyone knew not to mess with Gaby's pick. She was the best of the best. "Psst, Gaby!" Gaby heard a voice behind her. It was Lucille- probably will look to the light before too long. "Did you hear about Tyler Ramone?" Gaby rolled her eyes. Of course she had heard of Tyler Ramone- he was the most picked pick of this year. After raising a church for years, he rebelled and now was the easiest switch of them all. Gaby was actually surprised no one had picked him yet. "Duh. Get to the point, Loser Lucy." Lucille narrowed her eyes but didn't comment on the name calling. "No one wants to pick him cause some angel picked him up there." While Gaby was only half paying attention to the fruit fly, Lucille, this sparked her attention. That's why he hadn't been picked yet.. he's an angel pick? Her father had warned her in the past- once they're an angel pick, they're gone, no fighting. She half ignored her father's warning and thought about what it would be like to be the first demon to ever change an angel pick. She smiled at the thought, her fangs bared. "Gabriella Ryans" The dean called, and she walked up to the front to state her choice to all of her peers and the full fledged demons.
"I, Gabriella Ryans, pledge to bring Tyler Ramone over to the dark side." The crowd gasped and a silence fell over the auditorium. "Miss Ryans, no one has ever changed an angel pick before.." the dean whipered to her. Gaby cleared her throat and spoke into the microphone. "Peers, and parents, I am fully aware of the challenge I have accepted, and even more aware of the fate should I fail. However, I am Gabriella Ryans, and as all of you have watched, If anyone can do it, it's me." The crowd broke into quiet conversations and after a couple seconds clapping started. Gaby could practically feel the groans of most of her classmates and only took it as inspiration.
After the ceremony, Gaby said goodbye to her parents and siblings and ascended upon the world as a human- invisible to other humans- but intoxicated with the power to influence anyone to do anything. ┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

 ☼ Joshua Clements ☼
The day had finally arrived, the day for the next class of angels to declare their chosen pick. Joshua had spent hours upon hours looking into this, originally thinking about taking a boy that had grown a bit of a alcohol addiction. But this had changed when he overheard the rumors about Tyler Ramone, a church boy who would make for an easy pass had turned to drugs and crime. Everyone had given up on the boy, figuring there wasn't a way to help, that was when Josh decided to change his pick to Tyler. It didn't take long for his school's dean to call him up to the stage, guess that's a perk to having a last name with 'C'. As he walked up onto the stage, Josh tried to ignore the murmurs from his peers as he approached the dean. Turning to the crowds of angels, Josh couldn't stop his wings from twitching slightly in both excitement and nerves. He knew that he wasn't very well liked by the other angels, but just the thought of finally graduating was enough to get him excited.
"I, Joshua Clements, pledge to bring Tyler Ramone over to the side of the angels." Josh spoke in a clear tone. The murmurs from the crowd seemed to silence for a moment before a new wave started up. "Joshua, you are aware that Tyler is a bit of a... lost cause right?" the dean whispered with a raised eyebrow. Joshua turned to the man and gave a small nod "Yeah, but I think there's still a shot for him." he spoke back with a small half smile. The dean let out a quiet sigh "You do know what happens should you fail, right?" he asked only to recieve a determined nod from Joshua who had clearly made up his mind. "Alright then, Tyler Ramone it is then." he continued. A small smile lit up Joshua's face as he walked back down the stage and took his seat.
When the event came to an end, Joshua said farewells to his couple friends before heading out, down to the human world. His new mission soon to begin.
