 Cimara watched Natsumi learning to swim with Aqua glow as the class was wrapping up. He was so nervous, he knew what he wanted to do, the problem was getting the words to come out of his mouth in the order he wanted them to. Cimara smiled as he watched Natsumi start to swim on her own, she was still a bit slow in the water, but it was wonderful to see Aqua glow's teaching skills. She was clearly a smart female, one Cim wanted to know better. She had also been a big help to Cimara, without her advice. Cim didn't think he would have been able to let Natsumi live at the academy as she wished to. His daughter loved him dearly, just as Aqua said she would, but she also had her own dreams and Cimara couldn't stand in her way as she pursued them. Natsumi came towards him as the class ended and he wrapped her up in a towel. He said softly "You did wonderful my dear." Natsumi grinned dripping wet. "Did you see me swim daddy??" She asked "Yes I did dear, you were just like a little fish." he said warmly. Natsumi smiled again and then said "Daddy I gotta run, I want to practice my dance moves before bedtime, k??" Cimara smiled and nodded his head as he watched her run off to the locker room. Then he looked up to wait for Aqua glow to get out of the pool.

 Aqua'Glow was having a lot of fun teaching Natsumi how to swim, and she quite enjoyed having Cimara come by to encourage his daughter. He really was a good parent, all she ever heard from Natsumi when it came to her father was how much she loved him. That was always a good sign. Not only that, but Aqua'Glow was finding it nice to be seeing him so often in her class with Natsumi. It always made her day seeming him there for his daughter. Getting out of the pool, Aqua headed over to Cimara with a smile, waving goodbye to Natsumi as she went to get changed and go about her dancing. She had to tell the freshling not to dance around the pool, but explained that swimming was kind of like dancing, so she could 'dance' that way ", Hello Cimara, how have you been doing?"

 Cimara watched Aqua glow get out of the pool and waved at her in greeting, Cim rubbed the back of his head and said "I'm alright, well.. I was wondering.." Cimara sighed trying to find the right words to ask her to dinner. "I was wondering Aqua if you would.." Cimara didn't know why he was having so much trouble with this, he was a very smart fellow why was he stumbling over asking Aqua glow to dinner??

"You doing okay?" she asked, a look of concern coming onto her face as she saw Cimara struggling with saying something to her. What was he trying to say? Was it something important, or was he just embarrassed to say it? Whatever the reason, Aqua'Glow wanted to hear it, even if it too all day for him to say it ", You don't have to be afraid of saying anything to me. However, this was my last class of the day so you can take all the time you need to find the words, okay Cimara?"

Cimara sighed and said "I seem to be all tongue tied trying to ask you, something that should be very simple, which seems anything but at the moment.." Cim smiled at Aqua and gathered his wits and said "Would you.." What he wanted to say would way out of the correct ball part.. He shook his head and started again.. "Would you go out to dinner with me??"

That was it? All he wanted to do was go to dinner with her? Seemed simple enough, and maybe he knew of some good places to eat? ", I would love to go out to eat Cimara. Would it be a casual dinner outing, or something more simple? If it is something casual like fast food, then we could go as soon as I get back into my clothes. If it is a formal dinner, then you could meet up with me at my apartment so I could get ready. It isn't too far from the academy to be honest, and it is a very simple place to find."

"I think seeing you in a nice outfit would be wonderful and to give us both a chance to get ready." Cimara stepped back to allow Aqua room to get out of the pool. "How about I pick you up in a couple of hours??" Cim asked hopeful, that Aqua understood, what he meant, he liked her a lot. Figuring out how to tell her was another kettle of fish. Thinking that he wanted to bang his head on a wall, really kettle of fish, when speaking to a nixie?? Gah..

"Sounds good to me," she gave him a gentle smile before starting to head to her office. In all honesty, she kind of liked Cimara. He was such a gentle soul in her eyes, and not only that he had turned out to be a great father like she had told him he would be. Those two qualities alone were enough to spike her interest in him, not to mention all the other fantastic little traits about him that made her like him even more. Not only that, but he was Natsumi's father. She adored the little nightmare so much, it was hard for her to not play favorites with her students because she enjoyed having Natsumi around ", Just let me write down my address and some instructions on how to get there. Warning a head of time, I tend to like lolita dresses, so I will probably be wearing one of those."

Cimara gave Aqua his address, so she could go home and he could also could home and change his clothes. He wanted this to be special, he cared about Aqua for all her help. She has had such a sweet appearance and a kindness, that Cimara was still trying to understand. She didn't have to comfort his fears when Natsumi was a stone, but she did and that meant more than he could ever repay her for. Cimara was a serious fellow, but he wasn't made of stone. Cimara's jaw dropped at the suggestion of what she was planning to wear, "I will come by your house or you will come to mine??" He asked his mouth going dry, he needed to go home and change into something more sharp.

"Well I've never really gone on any outings or dates since leaving my home colony... but from what I can tell the one who asked is supposed to be the one picking up the date," She gave a small chuckle before writing down her address, handing him the paper with the address and instructions on how to get there from the academy ", Besides, I do recall you already saying you would pick me up, but that is alright. Your little bit of an absent nature is kind of charming."Why did she say that? Why did she have to say that?! Surely Cimara didn't like her like she liked him! This was just an outing because she had helped him and Natsumi so much. That is all! Oh no... What if he began to ask her questions about what she had said?! Aqua knew she had to change the topic before things got interesting in a bad way for them both. Maybe now would be a good time to mention the fact she had adopted two adorable freshlings? ", Well... I am glad you asked me to go with you tonight, I am expecting two goblin twins to be joining my little family soon. It won't just be Me, Myself, and I anymore, which sure is exciting!" Nailed it. Anyhow, I better get ready before heading home to get changed. I'll be ready when you come to pick me up after school and you get changed. I promise. I'll see you then?"

Cimara smiled and was tempted to kiss Aqua's cheek, she was so sweet. "Then I will pick you up at your place. I look forward to seeing you again Aqua." Cimara laughed and rubbed the back of his head "I have never really dated at all, besides that one mixer, but I don't consider that dating, this Natsumi's other parent has never been in our lives." Cimara said and then said "So I'm a bit nervous." He admitted. Cimara almost grinned at her compliment, which was off for his serious nature. Cim smiled "Children are wonderful, they bring light to a dull world, Natsumi is my light and warmth, she means the world to me. As do you Aqua, thank you." Cimara smiled and said "I will see you in a bit then." Cim went back to his house to get ready he dressed in a semi casual outfit, then headed out to meet Aqua at her place. He was nervous as he stepped up to her door. He took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

Aqua could almost swear that her heart was racing a marathon at Cimara's words. It seemed as if he actually did like her, but nah. He was just being his normal nice self of course. What else could it be? ", I'll see you then."Back at her place, Aqua'Glow tried hard to figure out an outfit to wear. Should she go with something more keen to her culture, or more in line with how someone should dress for a date? In the end she picked the outfit that best suited who she was, a short lolita style traditional dress that had flowers that complimented her skin and eyes as well. She wasn't sure Cimara would like it, but she was being herself right now. If Cimara didn't like that, then he truly wasn't the one for her sadly. She wished he was though. After all, Aqua'Glow was beginning to really like him. With the knock on the door, Aqua quickly slipped on a pair of her favorite pink buckle shoes before opening the door. She already had put on some makeup to help bring her whole outfit together, it brining out her eyes just that much more. She felt beautiful, but now it was time to see if Cimara felt the same way about her ", Hello Cimara, you came just in time. I just finished up getting ready. Just let me grab my bag and then I will be ready to go."

Cimara stood standing looking at Aqua glow like an idiot for a good five minutes trying to form the words for what he thought of her outfit, she looked so pretty. Give Cim a courtroom or a classroom and he was fine, put him in front of a pretty nixie and he forgot how to use his words. He cleared his throat and said "Yes, you look lovely.. Would you like to go someplace fancy or more casual??" Cimara asked his brain broken all of the sudden, he had graduated university and now was acting like a putz he wanted to bang his head on the wall. Aqua must think him a fool.

Aqua just simply waited there for Cimara to form the words needed, wondering what had gotten into him. Was her outfit too revealing? Her arms ended up covering her chest area, followed by a blush flowing onto her cheeks. Why was he just starring at her like that? It couldn't be that he found her to be that pretty... could it? "Thank you Cimara... umm... somewhere kind of formal but still on the casual side I think," This timid attitude wasn't herself at all, and normally she wouldn't care what others thought about her appearance, but for some reason it meant so much to her if Cimara truly did ", I like your outfit too. Any places in mind?"

Cimara took Aqua glow to a nice cafe with tables outside of the building and a bubbling fountain about ten feet from the table they were seated at. Cim moved over to Aqua's side of the table to pull out the seat for her, doing his best to be a gentleman. He had a lot of his mind, thinking about all the things he wanted to say to Aqua. After helping Aqua to her seat, Cimara watched as the waitress came over to their table to bring bread sticks and water. He meant to say will you pass the breadsticks but what came out was "Will you marry me??" Cimara blinked and blushed bright red. "I'm so sorry Aqua.. umm I meant.. well I mean.." he fumbled in his words like a fool, their first date and he had mucked it up terribly.
