Slievenamon had discovered she was great at two things:
1. Taking notes.
2. Taking notes while fleeing for her life.
Her innumerable encounters with youma and documenting their exploits had reached a pinnacle where the redhead could literally write down her thoughts in the middle of a chase from one. The fear that welled up within her every time she came upon them had fallen to the wayside—now she just thought of them as a nuisance. Still, they were still a subject of study, and the page needed to fulfill her thirst for knowledge.
But like every encounter, there was always to be one that would shake up her daily routine. This was one of them. Slievenamon had climbed into a three to get a better look at a koala youma. At first, she thought the matted grey lump was kind of cute like her happenstance with the owl youma, but she soon found that she was wrong.
Again.
Acting with hostility having been disturbed (like all of the youma she bothered), the youma bristled and hissed at her. Regrettably, the girl raced out to the branch of the tree instead of down, and found herself trapped behind a long fall that would likely break a few bones and a youma that was not happy to see her.
"Crap."
Worst of all? It was hard taking notes while out on a limb.

Despite getting into numerous fights with the Negaverse officers, youma were not things that Zhou Yi came across often. In a strange way she found them pretty awesome as any fiction fan would, in another very real sense she found the creatures terrifying.
This one however; seemed fluffier than it did intimidating. Completely judging a book by its cover and jumping in blindly; the redhead approached the tree in which captor and captive inhabited; hands resting on her hips casually as she hummed out of curiosity.
Zhou Yi tilted her head; getting a better look at the creatures hostage. The kistune-esque Senshi was starting to get used to the aura of knights after meeting a couple over the past week. Admittedly she still knew very little about them, but she knew that they were a noble bunch who were most defiantly order aligned.
Which meant she had to aid her sister in arms.
All of a sudden a rather large rock was thrown, smacking the koala on the back of the head. "Hey fuzzball! Over here!" The Senshi of the Sesshoseki stuck out her tongue and pulled down her eyelid in a childish manor; in an attempt to take the creatures attention away from the knight and create an opening for escape.

The thrown stone cracked against the koala youma's head, forming a lack lump. Feeling its anger swell in the form of a popped vein, the cuddly monstrosity suddenly jerked in the direction of Zhou Yi and hissed. Slievenamon watched as the grey thing dropped from its position on the branch and landed on all fours to the ground. Her eyes followed it charging at Zhou Yi, chagrining all the while.
She really hated bringing trouble to others—especially if she had to be saved.
Dropping down from her position on the branch, Slievenamon began to chase after it; her pen scribbles moving in tandem with her jogs. "Oi, uh, b-be careful!" the page cried to the senshi. "That thing's not like other youma, it—"
The koala youma suddenly rolled into a ball and launched itself at Zhou Yi.
"It, uh, it can do that."

Drop Bears are real! and she would have to tell her little brothers!
"Whoa-ahh!" The redhead stepped back, cyan eyes opened wide as the creature curled up and started it pursuit. It was like a strange game of bowling and she was the stack of pins at the end of the alley! She jumped into the air and just about cleared the now spherical creature on the rampage, being able to jump higher than a normal human was handy.
Still, she kept moving - not wanting to know what it felt like to be at the wrong end of a koala drive-by.
She looked back to the page who was approaching her and pointed towards the youma. "Think you can take it out if I make it stay still long enough?" She looked at the monster, who was still darting about like a pinball - there was no way they could do anything until it stopped! Suddenly with a sharp turn it headed back towards the two girls.
"s**t, no time to think here we go!"
Zhou Yi clenched her fist and focused her energy, light seeped through her fingers until the magical marbles that were needed for her attack, were formed. She then took aim and threw them at the creature. "Enerugī Nusumu Ishi" She called; the stones formed a circle around the monster - and for a moment it was still, its energy getting stolen by the glowing rocks.

Slievenamon glanced at her shell flute. She had experience dusting youma, but each encounter was something new, unfortunately. "I-I can try!" she said to Zhou Yi, watching in interest as the sailor used her magic. Unfortunately, she couldn't resist the urge to write this down, and seemed a little late on the uptake when the stones magically set themselves in place and surrounded the monstrosity. Slievenamon literally bounded out of the way of the oncoming youma with her pen still pressed to her memo pad; a long, jagged line scribbling mid-sentence.
The koala youma suddenly slowed dramatically; even uncurling from its ball form and flopping down on the concrete out of breath. Figuring this would be a good time to attack, the page stuffed her booklet back into the interior pocket of her uniform and grabbed hold of her shell flute. Turning it toward the pointed end, she ran toward the youma at full speed, and then stabbed her weapon into its back with a sharp push.
Except nothing happened.
Her shell flute just stuck haphazardly out of the koala youma's back like a stick in the mud.
"Uh."
Slievenamon felt a pearl of sweat form at her temple as she pointed to it and laughed nervously.
"It, ahaha, it isn't dead."
And then it roared.

Zhou Yi looked on in shock, what did she mean it wasn't dead? The creature let out a roar that seemed to come more from anger than it did pain. This was the battle cry of a very cheese off, and very fluffy, youma. Zhou Yi was very much one trick pony, and she had already used her hand so she was out of ideas. The redhead held her hands out infront of her as if she was washing off all responsibility. This girl had this! She hoped. Maybe.
"Well... Push it in deeper! I don't know!" Never in a million years; did she ever think those words would leave her mouth; if this was not a serious situation involving a very angry ball of fuzz she might have laughed. However, nothing right now seemed funny. Zhou Yi did not like animals; she would never wish them harm but she did not particularly want to be around them. This feeling just intensified the more youma she came across.
"H-hey! I would get away from him!"
How could two celestial guardians not handle one pint sized youma!?!?!

Slievenamon was at a lost as to whether she should drive her flute in deeper or flee for her life. She flinched when the koala youma roared; that obviously did not sound good, but the redhead felt she needed to act. And fast. So, making a running dash, the page started her way toward him and then jumped. With a carefully aimed heel, the page kicked her shell flute in deeper, but that still didn't seem to do it.
Crying out in pain, the koala youma glared at the page and decided to use her close proximity to its advantage. Then and there, she knew she was screwed. Swinging one of his arms, it sent her flying, and she landed as a pile of ouchie after slamming into a tree. Figuring one threat was out of the way, it centered its focus on Zhou Yi.
From her spot, Slievenamon managed to cry out through her cringe in pain, "O-once more should do it! Just... Just push the flute in deeper one more time!"

Zhou Yi watched as the Page flew past her and into a nearby tree, stunned by the force that the creature had managed to call upon.
F**k this s**t.
The redhead ran towards the monster, a determined gleam in her eyes. "Hey Fuzzball. You do not treat Magical Girls like that!"
And Yi kicked the flute, as hard as she could.

Had youma's exploded in a spray of confetti, fighting them would've been exciting. When Slievenamon's shell flute was given a good kick, the koala youma's eyes widened, and suddenly, its body disintegrated in a burst of dust.
The page watched on from the base of the tree, drawing a sigh when she knew their battle to be over. Stumbling to standing while holding her throbbing arm, she strode over to her weapon and picked it up. Inspecting it for a moment, she then looked over to Zhou Yi and immediately dropped her head.
"I'm so sorry!" she apologized. "I... I didn't mean to bring you into this, but I am thankful for your help! Thank you!"
Figuring she wouldn't want to bring more trouble to her fellow member of Order, Slievenamon withdrew a step, and then another. "I, um, I should go," she said gently, offering a sheepish, guilty smile. "Thanks again!"
And then she bounded off without another word, her desire to learn more than day stunted by the pain in her. It would definitely last a few days.
