A golden claw poked gently at the discarded eye torn from its socket. Its use had all been used up and said claw begun to grow bored of it. A large paw closed itself around the orb, constricting tighter and tighter until nothing was left but a liquid mess. Snorting, Basskirk flicked his paw and flung the goo away, wiping the rest off on the grass. A tch sound escaped his throat, glowing green eyes narrowed upon the carcass of a half eaten goat. Scavengers had picked at its body until he arrived. "Pity." his deep voice rasped. "I should have liked to do the job myself..." he grumbled, turning his head from the scene to the landscape before him.
The multitude of eyes sprouting from the stallions mane and tail flickered this way and that, seemingly pulling at 'invisible' strings every time they did so, for each time a very faint and almost unnoticeable twinge flickered at the corner of Basskirk's eyes. The eye nestled in the pit of his chest gazed up at him before lazily rolling about to the side. "Oh?" he mused deeply to himself as he turned his head to the same direction. "Someone's....coming." he snorted, fighting back a grin. His translucent wings flexed before resting against his side again as he waited. Who dared approach him and offer their orbs as presents.

The smell of meat wafted through the air towards the tigress' nostrils, drawing the frustrated mare in. Today had gone horribly, but a nice snack might make an improvement. Her tail flicked with agitation as she walked, grinding her teeth.
It had been another show, another flop. Cirque muttered complaints under her breath as she stormed through the trees. She just simply did not have enough of an act for it to count as much of a performance at all. The herd was so stingy too to boot, rubbing salt in the wounds by demanding the trinkets that served as their payment back after much booing. Such a disappointment and one she could do little about unless she stumbled upon another soquili with some actual talent.
Licking her lips, she mused as she trotted closer to the source of the stench. A singer might do their group some good, but she didn't want to end up becoming too musically centered. She sighed as she stepped out of the bushes, a torn carcass entering view. Humming to herself she pursed her lips, the beast looked rather half eaten and it seemed she wasn't the first to arrive as a stallion stood nearby looking rather disgusted. Ironic, she thought, given his many many eyes.

The stallions many eyes all seemed to land on the striped fem, though none lingering on her quite as long as the glowing green orbs in their rightful place. They ran from the tip of her ears down to the end of her long feline like tail. She was nothing special, not even down to her similar paws. But something about her... it called to something deep inside him. Those eyes.... So fierce, so full of personality. How he'd like to have them...
"You..." he called out to her around the knife in his neck, his tone sounding a touch raspy the louder it went. His paws kneaded deep into the grass as he ripped the blades from the earth, wings stretching to reveal the gashes in his skin. Places where skin was missing all together, leaving nothing but raw muscle fibers. "Do you dare... to come closer." he taunted her, almost hoping she'd she would.
Taking a few steps towards her, his many eyes all swiveled about in their 'sockets', almost as if they too were excited about her presence, A growl rumbling around in the pit of his throat as they did so.
