Neve found herself wondering away from her usual snowy mountains. It was the colder months, so she decided it wouldn't be a bad idea to explore a little bit. She couldn't handle the heat, and knew some area's of this land she'd never be able to see. She had accepted it and smiled, just hoping her family hadn't been in those areas. The never ending search for home; it felt like, anyways.
She looked to the sky above and smiled as she padded through the lovely meadows. All she could see was grass as far as the eye could see. It was quite beautiful. She'd never seen something like it before. Or if she had, she didn't remember. She had been swept away by a flood many years ago, taken in by a lovely ulaya. Though, she was on the ever search for her parents, only getting images here and there of them. She also new she had a sibling, or maybe several. It wasn't clear, really.
She wasn't sure how she knew, just that somethings happened and she didn't know how to make sense of them. She also could understand much better than most how others were feeling. She couldn't explain it, and didn't want to explain it. It just was something that came natural to her. Yet it scared her in a way. Something she'd never had been used to, never really told anyone about either.

 Xiao Li lightly stepped on the icy meadow it was cold but tolerable. He wondered how jokoa did this. To him he was use the warm and sunny weather of spring and summer. He blew out a small breath and looked around, curious who would be out at this time. He himself was at a loss to why he was out but he felt he needed some fresh air instead of being cooped up inside.Fresh air was good for everyone every once in awhile. He glanced upwards at the slightly cloudy sky.
He padded around the meadow humming to himself as he did so, in truth it was better to keep moving then to stay in one spot.He squinted a little as he saw a female that looked like she was covered in ice. With the minimal sunlight that was showing itself, it reflected off the female subtly but it made her look like she was twinkling , if his chemistry was right the sun reflected off glassy surfaces. He padded closer to her before speaking up.
"Indeed it is"

She squeaked, and gave a little jump. She hadn't been expecting anyone to be about. At least she hadn't seen any when she first stepped into the area. Her body was much like ice, when wet you could see right through her, though when it was a day like this, she was cloudy and gray, almost. It made for an awkward situation sometimes.She was glad today wasn't raining. She always feared ulaya would run from her because they could see through her, but not her organs as they blended well with the rest of her.
Some had found that kinda odd. She smiled at the male there. "Oh! i didn't think anyone was around" She looked as if she had been carved from ice, though from what she had been shown, her mother was exactly the same way in a sense. "I'm Neve." She said with a smile. To her the temperature was almost too warm, but unlike ice, she wasn't about to melt away if it got warm

He flinched a little as she squeaked in surprise, he bowed lightly "My apologies for surprising you Miss that was not my intention" he told her a little embarrassed and feeling a little bad. "I also did not think there would be someone out here at this time" he told her and tilted his head but it was a nice surprise he didn't know very many jokoa that would be out and about.
He nodded politely at her "Nice to meet you Miss Neve, I'am Xiao Li although most just call me Xiao" he told her returning the smile. The temperature to him was a little cold but tolerable enough for him to be out without a scarf or anything. If anything it was a nice change of scenery.

He was far more charming that she had expected, then again what did she expect? She smiled at him sweetly and nodded. "Pleasure's all mine" She said honestly. She hadn't really ran into many since she had been on her own. She didn't want to scare them with her abilities. Like she could tell he was in a good move of sorts, but couldn't tell anything else really.
"Xiao it is, then!" She said with a nod, she repeated that in her head a few times so she wouldn't forget it. It wouldn't server her well if she forgot his name, or even what he rather be called. "I don't really have a nick name." She realized. Not that her name was especially long anyways.

Xiao smiled at her lightly and tilted his head to the side, this conversation was short standing "Anyway, what do you like to do for fun?" he asked her politely, he really was not a good conversationalist, mainly because he didn't get out much so he didn't have an opportunity to work on his social skills he frowned at himself before looking at Neve, she was right he couldn't think of a nickname for her "that's okay, your name is beautiful as is" he told her.

If she could blush, she would be from his last comment. She hadn't had anyone ever tell her that before. Not that she really met anyone much. Her tail swayed back and forth from being happy. He was a really nice ulaya. "Well I like to wonder about" She said with a nod. "Seeing new things is exciting." Which was why she was in this area to begin with.
Though, she knew she'd never handle the warmth too well during the summer days. She smiled at him. "What do you like to do for fun?" She was enjoying the moments he was giving her, and she wasn't about to walk away. In fact, if he started to move away she probably would start to follow him not realizing that he might not want to talk to her anymore.

Xiao grinned lightly at her, "Wandering is always a good way to explore your surroundings, that's the adventure part of it" he told her happily as his tail swished to and fro idly. "I don't get out much either and when I do I usually explore and wander as well" he told her.
He thought about it for a minute before answering "what do I like to do, well let see random walks are nice" he told her before stretching a bit to loosen up his leg muscles. "I suppose I also like to read and make some new friends" he told her thinking about it some more, what else did he like to do.

She listened to what he had to say before making a noise of any type. She was beginning to realize that they were quite a lot alike, him and her. She smiled at him and decided he was a decent ulaya. "Walks are great!" She said with a smile. "What places do you like the best? She asked him with interest.
For whatever reason, she wanted to know everything about him. Of course, she really didn't know anyone, and he was quite interesting to her. Perhaps they could go for an adventure! Though, she almost dreaded where they would end up going. He looked like he was a little cold in this area, and she couldn't show him the mountain then. He might freeze abit.
Anywhere warmer, and she might have issues. This was going to be a tough day! "Would you like to go for a walk?" She was going to try it anyways. She'd rather see where things would go, than regret it later.

Xiao returned the smile, this encounter was going a lot better then he originally thought it was going to go. He nodded his head and glanced at her "they are, they allow and opportunity to stay in touch with nature" he told her happily, he loved being out in nature. "Usually, places that are mild in temperature, like not too hot and not too cold. Sort of " he said frowning a bit, that made it difficult to hang out with Neve again, she liked the cold. He would need to bring a scarf or something if he was going to hang out with her again.
He gave a soft smile at Neve "I would love to go for a walk" he told her, he was curious where things would progress after this. But, even so he still may need to get a scarf if he ever had plans to hang out with Neve again.

She grinned which probably made her look quite silly, but that was the last thing upon her mind as she moved next to him. "Where would you like to go?!" She asked him cheerfully. She wasn't sure where they would end up, but that was part of the joy of an adventure. Not really knowing where you were going to end up. Her body glimmered in the sunlight, and her body became slightly more translucent as the day went on.
Eventually, she will look more like a crystal, and less like a frozen lake, as the light passed through and gave off a rainbow effect upon the ground in front of them. "What is your favorite color?" She asked, it was quite random, but it just kinda popped in her head. Sometimes she didn't know why she said things, they just popped out of her mouth, though most the time they were stuff she wanted to know, and harmless to the situation.

He beamed lightly at her as she came up beside him "That is a good question, I have no idea. We shall follow the path and see what adventure it takes us on" he told her. He gazed at her as her body started to glimmer from the sunlight, she was starting to look crystalline.
He blinked and looked at the ground as the light passed through her and onto the ground in front of them and then looked back at her "Well, I can't say I have a favorite, I like the entire rainbow" he told her. He was concerned she would melt away.

She liked his idea, it was just as good as her own. She nodded at him. "Agreed!" She said with a cheerful smile. Her tail swaying back and forth behind her as she waited for him to lead the way. She would follow, since she didn't want to walk too fast for him. She sometimes did that without really noticing and she didn't want to lose him, or upset him.
"Is quite a lovely day for such a walk!"

Xiao looked around to figure out where to go and in what direction to go. "hmm...I'm not entirely sure where to go, so I'm just going to follow this path and see where it takes us" he told her, his own tail swishing to and fro idly. He started padding down the pathway, taking in the surroundings to make sure they wouldn't get lost. "Hopefully, I won't get us lost" he told her, he was frankly a little worried he would get them lost.

She giggled. "Getting lost isn't a bad thing," She started with her head held high, "It is an opportunity to see the world!" You couldn't find a new place without getting lost, she believed. And technically she was already lost, she had lost her family as a box and had never been able to find them. It was a goal of hers, to find her mother.
"So, embrace getting lost!" She said with a smile. She didn't expect to change his view, but see it differently and hopefully understand that losing one's self was not anything bad, it just opened up doors to new adventures. Plus, if she was to get lost with anyone, he was the ulaya she'd want to. He was very kind, and she was grateful for that.
