Still silent, Captain Richterite had followed the younger Captain off of the main street where the fight between he and Sailor Zhou Yi had taken place. He would have liked to be able to say that in his silence his mind was racing. He would have enjoyed having some sort of excuse prepared; a reason for what he could only think of as a 'momentary lapse in judgement'. What had caused it? How had it happened? Standing there with a dismal expression on his face, Richterite could not even recall what had been going through his mind at that second. There had been a rush of anger, a rush of energy and then -- and then... Nothing. He took in a deep breath, releasing it slowly as he crossed his arms at the wrist behind his back. Hillworth. That was what this reminded him of; the last time he had gotten in trouble at Hillworth. How many years ago had it been? Enough. Enough to know that this time would be much different, especially depending on who this Captain reported to. A communication crystal had been drawn and he thought that he had overheard something, but he really hadn't been paying attention either. Wake up, Rikard. Get your damn head out of the clouds.

Jet found himself glancing over his shoulder at the other every minute or so. Not because he was expecting the other to run off, although the possibility of him teleporting away was high, but because he couldn't figure out what was possibly going through the other's head. Richterite let the Senshi go without another thought, despite the fact that she was obviously putting up a fight.
Once they cleared away from the possibility of prying eyes, Jet dismissed his weapon and grabbed onto the other Captain's arm with his only good hand, and teleported them both to where Cinnabar would be waiting.
Teleporting always took a lot out of him, especially since he we still injured from when he'd been kidnapped and tortured. He gasped for air when they appeared in the Rift, sweat already beading along his brow from the effort, but he did his best to remain upright. Cinnabar should be close. He could feel her aura.
"General," he spoke before he could see her. "Captain Richterite allowed a Senshi to escape when she could have been corrupted or starseed taken," he explained to the shadows, his eyes back in the other Captain to see what he would do.
Skye Starrfyre I'm so sorry for the wait!! ;;

"Did he? How interesting."
The voice drifted down the Hall of Shadows as Cinnabar stepped away from the door to the rift where she had been standing, turning on a heel to bring her black-red eyes to the two captains. There was a hint of a curl to her lips as she swept first the captain under her command and then the one he had brought with him, her eyes moving slowly from feet to head with no change in that small little smile. Her tail flicked as she stepped forward, her gate loose and easy, hands in her pockets.
"Care to explain yourself, Captain?" She hummed as she approached.
The general had never seen this silver-haired man before and there was very little she knew about him. Had she more time, she might have looked for his division or his commanding officer... but Jet thought it important enough to call her about, rather than seek out whomever he answered to. She had to assume there had been something shady to the situation to make him so concerned, and she was not in the habit of dismissing those concerns so easily.
The Hall of Shadows was not the most ideal of places for an interrogation, but there was something to be said about the intimidation factor it had. All through the walls, figures moved, only half seen. Reaching for the life just on the other side of the barrier that kept them contained. She hoped it was a good reminder of what the Negaverse could do to a person, if they wanted to. She could always drag him into the Rift through the door too, if further emphasis was required.Skye Starrfyre Let me know how badly you want or don't want him to get hurt!

He straightened himself out as he was presented to the General; not out of pride or any feeling of worth, but because it seemed like something he should be expected to do. He remained steady under her scrutiny save for the slight twitch of fingers that wanted to reach for his cards as a nervous habit-- A crutch. His lips parted as though he was going to respond and then he paused, at a loss for words. He ran his tongue over his lips, whetting them as though that might help him find the missing remarks and phrases that usually came so easily. The honest answer was no, he didn't care to explain himself. He would much rather go home and forget this had happened-- Only it had happened. Captain Richterite swallowed, taking a deep breath and releasing it slowly in order to steel himself again. "I-- I didn't know that I was being observed, ma'am." It was the worst answer, he was certain, but it was at least honest... Would he have done anything differently if he'd known that someone had been watching? No. "I hesitated." Obviously. "It won't happen again." Whimsical Blue No broken bones or wounds that would require a hospital stay, preferably! A+ to anything that could be treated at home and hidden until it heels; bruises, cuts, surface slashes.

Jet straightened as best as he could when General Cinnabar made her appearance. He wondered if it was strange that he both respected and was wary of her. It wasn’t every day you were on (hopefully) good terms with a half-youma General. Just her appearance would send shivers down one’s spine, but the power radiating from her suggested it would be unwise to get on her bad side.
It was not often that he went to the Hall of Shadows, unless seeking Cinnabar’s assistance or advice, so he tried not to look too unnerved as she approached the other Captain.
“The senshi was still fighting back. He let her go,” Jet amended the other Captain’s statement, holding his casted, broken arm against his chest, while his right arm hung by his side. “He had every opportunity. She exhibited little to no mercy in regards to attacking him, but he let her go, anyway.”

The stranger drew himself up and Cinnabar watched him carefully, looking for the small signs of nerves and dishonesty that could give him away. The skills were not used so much these days since she'd given up bond enforcement, but it was hard to entirely forget them. He seemed to have a hard time coming up with an explanation.
Pauses... licking lips... swallowing dryly... She absorbed the information before he spoke and her expression didn't change, whatever she might have thought about it. Her eyes flicked to her captain as he offered up his own assessment before they shifted back to Richterite and she paced close to him, stepping in perhaps closer than might be comfortable for him.
"Are you suggesting you'd have done differently if you had known you were being watched? Because you are always being watched, Captain. Metallia's power is inside of you, you think she doesn't know what you do?" She tsked softly before she tilted her head. "So. This senshi fought you, you had the opportunity to end it, but you hesitated. Not just hesitated, but made the decision to let her go free. Why?"
The General turned to the side and began to pace with slow steps, seemingly relaxed. She studied the walls as she went, her tail flicking.
"Do you think you did something wrong? Do you think you should be punished for letting one of the enemy go? Or can you justify what you did?"
