Chau walked up to the door of the art room and hung a banner and then he grinned as he read the sign his mom had helped him make, it said "Welcome, feel free to come join me sculpting. The feel of clay in the fur is great!!" Then he went into the room and got out a piece of clay for himself and a bowl of water and some tools to work with. Then Chau sat down to block out what he was working on and figure out what he wanted to make, vespercat, pony?? Jackalope?? He wasn't sure, but he was sure he would figure it out and that he would be super happy to have clay in his fur, it was one of his favorite things in the whole world. Art was a passion Chau had gotten from his daddy and it meant the world to him, feeling the clay, making something new and great?? It was the best feeling in the world. His little demon tail moved about happily as he began to work.

Coco arrived at the sculpting activity, she had decided to try something different from painting to see if she liked it. She smiled at the friendly looking hybrid sitting at the table working on a block of clay. Then she went to go get her own block of clay to see if she could figure out how to make something from the clay. Coco frown, this was a lot harder than she thought it would be. Coco sighed in frustration, as she tried to make the clay do what she wanted it to do. It didn't seem like clay was her medium, but she intended to keep trying so she understood more than just painting.

Chau saw the little demon struggling with her piece, he got up from his own work and went to offer to help her. He smiled warmly and said "Hi I'm Chau, do you need some help?? I could show you how to work the clay more easily." Chau said in a friendly tone. He wondered if the girl would allow him to help her, or if she would get mad and push him away. He waited with a happy charming smile on his face for the girl to make up her mind. In the back of his mind he thought about all the things he could make for his art work.

Miku was an activity nut, if there was something to be doing he would be the first one that would be all over it. Naturally with sculpting this was no different. While he may not be nessisacairly talented at art he still loved most everything and while it may not be a masterpiece it would always be fun. he walked right in and plopped down at a table and began work on what he hoped would turn out as a vespercat like thing. He looked at the other two interacting and gave a wave with one hand while his other was deep in clay.

Coco smiled softly at Chau and said softly "Hi I'm Coco and yes please I've never worked with clay before, so I'm kinda at a loss as how to get started." She said shyly "I'm not sure if working with clay is for me, I like painting better." Coco smiled and waved at the new boy who entered the activity room. Then she waited for Chau to help her with her art project, at least, to get her started Coco didn't want to give up so easily. It would be so weak and pathetic and that wasn't the sort of being Coco wanted to be. She bite her lip as she waited for his answer.

Miku tried his best to stay out of the other two's business, but when had that ever worked for him before? He was notorious for needing to be paid attention to and a simple wave simply wouldn't do for him. So he ever so nonchalantly slid his clay toward the others. This of course didn't work very well because as anyone who has ever tried to slide clay on a table could tell you, it's not very... slid-y. However he still attempted to be smooth about it giving a charming smile to the other two. "So whats we doooin ore' here." He looked at what the demon was doing, "Ha looks just like mine! nd' here I was thinking I was dooin' wrong! I'm so good at this." he looked pleased at his glob of clay that looked more like a snowman with makeshift cat ears on top than the vesper cat he had actually been attempting to make.

Chau smiled cheerfully "Nope sculpting is about trial and error and if you don't like something you've made, you don't bake it you smash it and get the clay all up in your fur and start again!!" Chau grinned at Miku and said "Hey I'm Chau, I started this little get-together, welcome and I hope you'll have fun, I love getting clay in my fur it's the best!!." Then he turned to Coco and said "Ok Coco, Miku it may help you both, to knead the clay like this first so it's easier to work with." Chau started kneading his clay to make it more pliable and easier to work with, then he started to create a vespercat to show Coco and Miku how to work with the clay.

Coco giggled when Miku came up and show her he was having the same problem learning to work with the clay that she was. Coco smiled softly and said "Hi I'm Coco." then she shook her head "No I'm still trying to learn to do this too, I like painting more than working with clay, but I don't have many friends so I decided to come." Then Coco listened to Chau tell them about kneading the clay and watch how he shaped the little pieces and molded them onto the vespercat he was making. Coco tried her best to imitate his way of working with the clay which did make it easier to do though Coco's Jacklope still looked funny.

Miku addressed Chau first, "That is super nice of you to do! Though I don't know how I feel about getting clay in my fur", he looked down to his arms which were solidly covered in clay by this point. He thought to himself that it would probably be hard for him to get it all out. Then he began to knead the clay the way that the Chau was. Then he looked over at coco while he was still doing that. "Painting huh? You guys like art a lot then. I'm just here because I like having lots of friends." Hearing her say she didn't have many friends he laughed, "Well it's sok' if you don't have lots friends. You've got me now, and we are friends and I'm worth least'..." he paused for a second as if calculating something. "three hundred and twenty seven." he nodded as if it was a simple fact. Looking down at his clay he made a grimace, he was pretty sure he was still not doing it right.

Chau smiled and then said "I guess it's not for everyone, but I'm really glad you both game." He smiled at Coco and said "That's really cool, maybe you can teach me to paint sometime??" she said cheerfully. Chau hugged Coco and said "Don't worry I'll be your friend too Coco." Then Chau turned back to Miku and asked. "What are you into Miku??" Then he went back to work on his vespercat as he waited for Miku to answer his question. Chau's mind wandered to thoughts of his brother, who Chau had not gotten a chance to spend time with since they had both entered the academy. Chau needed to fix that and find time to bond with his brother.

Coco smiled at Miku and Chau "Thank you both so much this all means a lot to me" she said softly, it felt so nice hanging out with other freshlings and doing an activity with them. Even if she wasn't very good at it and her jackalope looked like a funny bunny. Coco waited for Miku to tell them what his hobby and what his favorite subject was, Coco already knew what she wanted to be when she grew up. She was determined to become an artist and she wouldn't give up no matter what. Coco smiled at them both and said "I guess I could do a painting gathering if you two would like??" she asked softly wanting to spend more time with them both.

Miku nodded he was glad that he came too. "I am into sports, i'd offer to rally up a football game for us all sometimes or maybe jus' toss the ball around... sumfin tells me you guys wouldn't be into that." he let out a little giggle. He looked down at his vespercat which in all reality looked like a glob of clay but in his eyes he was doing a pretty good job. "Ohh a painting group would be loads of fun! you sould do that sometimes, we would both come right?" He looked to Chau for conformation but still was working on his clay.

Chau grinned "I wouldn't mind playing with you, I've never played football before, I like soccer, though!!" Chau said happily "Just because I like art doesn't mean I don't like sports too." Chau teased and stuck his tongue out at Miku and then said. "Besides it would only be fair to each choose an activity if we are going to be hanging out as a group, how would it be fair if Coco and I were the only ones who got to pick the activities??" Chau said and then went back to his own art piece getting it ready to go in the kiln.

Coco spook up after Chau finished "I wouldn't mind playing too, you'd just have to teach me how.. I've never played a sport before.." Coco said nervously, then she went back to her work on her jackalope. Coco thought about her friend Galan who had encouraged her to try other mediums when she asked if he had worked with other mediums before. Now Coco was determined to learn as much as she could about art, maybe junior or senior year she could learn about welding and bending metal to create art, or working with blown glass. There were so many different things she could try, she just didn't think she was old enough so some of them just yet.

Miku was honestly surprised that these art kids would be willing to play sports, he had always heard that while the kids who play sports would also do art; kids who do art... well they didn't want to do sports. Now Miku perhaps that was wrong if these two were open to a gathering to play what he liked that would be awesome! A real friend group, something that Miku never had before. "That would be so great, I can tell we are gunna be the bestest freinds." He then looked down at his clay scultpure and nodded at it, while it wasn't perfect it was probably the best that he could do. "Okay whats next?" this was his first time working with clay so he really had no idea.
