Slievenamon had a lot on her mind. It seemed to have become routine whenever she powered up for her thoughts to dwell on the other side of things—specifically, Chaos and their workings. She couldn't help it; the redhead was surreptitiously interested them. However, she had no desire to give up her life as a knight. In fact, learning about them made her want to stay one more.

Know thy self, know thy enemy.

It had become almost like a mantra to Slievenamon for the passing days and she felt she had more clarity of herself than before. A bit of a far-fetched claim, but the page didn't care. She wondered more of what the Negaverse had to offer besides its agents and youma. So, atop the rooftop of the warehouse she frequented before, she sat on the edge and swung her leg with nonchalantly.

There was much to think about.

Sorry, I didn't catch your Captain's name, but I can edit the title when you make your post~

Spurs clinking faintly, Kadyrelite ran and leapt across the rooftops of Destiny City, choosing for the moment to ignore the youma that goaded her.

Slow! Weak! Why does sweet Kadyrelite insist on these games? Do you want Strytha to nibble at your heart that badly?

"Shut up, you little monster," the silver and green haired Captain hissed as an aura flickered against her senses. Order. And close. Smiling faintly, she changed course, intending to follow the energy to its source. After all, it would be rude to not introduce herself. Besides, veering off course allowed her to needle the tracker youma nestled beside her starseed in one of the few ways she was allowed. It wouldn't murder her out of hand for doing her job.

Or at least, that was what she told herself so she could sleep at night.

Strytha heard that.

Snorting a laugh, Kadyrelite continued to follow the Order aura, wondering what she would end up finding.

Slievenamon had been so lost in thought that when she felt the blip of a signature, it was too late. She swallowed thickly—her mind drawing back from the edges of regret when she recalled the small promise with Hyperborea to run at the feel of danger and, instead, seeping into the desire to meet this person. Their aura felt a bit different; not wholly different considering all of Negaverse had a ilk to them that got under her skin, but it did feel off the marker.

Instead of charging outright to meet them, Slievenamon rose to her feet and clasped her gloved hand hard around her shell flute. She would wait for them, see what their intentions were. Yet, considering they were headed straight her way, it was obvious she was their target.

Whether she would survive this encounter or not was the true question that should've been raised.

Normally, Kadyrelite would have opted for caution. To try and talk things out. But in the months since Strytha had been inflicted upon her, she'd seen the error of that path. Talking was only for the times when there was a decent chance of convincing someone they were on the wrong side.

Or trickery. Strytha, in particular, was fond of trickery. And of frightening the living ******** out of others. And as she came to rest on the rooftop[ where the blonde knight stood, Kadyrelite slowed her approach and smiled disarmingly. And gave the youma within permission to use every trick in the book to keep this girl off balance.

"Well, aren't you just a little Miss Fancy Pants. Where's the rest of your marching band, honey?"

It was a poor attempt at wit, but Kadyrelite was more interested in putting herself into a position that would let her take advantage of Strytha's little tricks. And speaking of...

Only the fact that she'd had time to acclimate to the youma's moving around within her chest allowed her to keep her smile bright and pleasant. And she found herself wondering how it looked to this other girl to see someone's ribcage ripple and buckle as a distinctly serpentine shape writhed.

"Well?"

The page swallowed thickly with the distance between her and her opponent was closed. To Slievenamon, their energy signature was lik sifting through a thick vat the point she wanted to stop moving. This... whatever she was was different after all, but she didn't expect something like this.

Her interest was quite piqued, but she didn't pull out her memo pad just yet to jot down notes. She had a few observations to make. The slither of the Kadyrelite's chest made her hackles stand ramrod straight. Just what in the world was that? But when she felt her continuous staring put her on par with a dudebro, she averted her eyes.

"They marched away at the feel of something vile," Slievenamon said. She wasn't exactly witty, so it was the best she could manage. "Unfortunately, I had to see who or what that vile thing was."

Still smiling, Kadyrelite brushed her fingertips over the bruise on her breastbone and chuckled.

"Y'hear that, Strytha? She called us vile. Imagine!"

The voice that answered was low, hissing and full of wicked amusement as it rolled from the officer's throat.

"The little one offers such pretty compliments! Vile, are little Kadyrelite and Strytha? At least we do not give aid to those of the stars who seek to control our Earth!"

Blinking a little at the hot hatred within her chest, Kadyrelite shrugged and grinned again, managing a tiny kick that bounced a spur off the shingled roof.

"Well, I'd say that I just got my marching orders, honey," she said in a completely normal voice before cracking her knuckles and throwing herself at the knight. It was clear that Strytha wanted a fight and she was more than happy to oblige. They could worry about strategy later.

A shiver zigzagged its way up her spine. Slievenamon thought she was only aware of one voice, but there... there was two? Just... how? What in... the world was going on there?

Unfortunately, she didn't have much time to dwell on the matter; Kadyrelite was on her faster than her thoughts could process. She backpedaled twice at the close approximation of the other and panicked to a stop just at the edge of the warehouse roof. Hoping to use this to her advantage, Slievenamon turned her shell flute about to the pointed end and attempted to jab at the the bruised spot on her chest.

"Just... what are you?" she managed to grit out through her pain. Even at the threat of her life, Slievenamon wanted to learn about this new encounter from the Negaverse. "You're... nothing I have seen before."

Laughing gleefully, Kadyrelite kept one eye on the roof's edge and the other oh the pointed shell in the knight's hand. She rather thought the stabbing attempt was more for show. A way to give some room. Which was great! It showed somewhat clear thinking. It also meant that Kadyrelite would end up impaling herself purely through the magic of physics if she wasn't a bit more careful.

Strytha is please that you thought of that on your own, the youma whispered, it's voice whispering in Kadyrelite's head. Sometimes, there was a great deal to be said for having a sort-of back up that no one else could hear unless Strytha jacked her voice. Please remember, though, that Strytha is not here to take blows for you, sweet one.

Figured. Kadyrelite threw herself to the other side and felt the shell slice across her arm. That had the possibility of leaving a mark. But not as much as a spur blade across that pretty little face, she thought maliciously as she kicked up and out.

Then, she laughed again as the knight spoke and blew the blonde a kiss.

"Oh honey," she cooed. "You ain't seen nothin' yet."

Slievenamon's face crinkled into a determined glare against Kadyrelite's airborne kiss, even with a slight retching, but a dark haze did not hang above her features; in fact, there was a twinkle to her eye. It took everything in her person not to egg the agent of Chaos on and give it her all; there definitely was something different about this one, hopefully she'd live long enough through this spat to find out her secret.

Cursing her morbid curiosity, the page held up her shell flute protectively in front of her chest now that she knew her little soul was encased inside it. The transcendent knight she had a talk to before had informed her of many, many things regarding the Negaverse, but it was always an experience going up against one. Slievenamon had thoughts she wanted to jot down, things to ask, but there wasn't time again; Kadyrelite lunged at her again and the page only had the means of defending herself by crossing her arms in front of her face.

"Well then, show me," she said, her voice a little more firm than she wanted it to be.

s**t, I... I just let that slip out.

Ah, she was going to get her a** kicked now.
