“Let’s go ladies, we don’t have all day!” Aseara yelled up the stairs before pushing away and pacing at the base. She was taking out a couple of the girls out for some shopping, a few of them were looking for new clothing and jewelry and Aseara had been given the task to make sure they didn’t do anything stupid. Most of them we’re the younger girls, with two being singers out of the group of five. There was a thundering sound as all five girls began to make their way down the stairs with their laughter echoing down the halls.
“Alright, cover up. Let’s go.” Aseara waited until all the girls have placed a scarf loosely around their hair and then ushered them out the door quickly. The small group headed right for the market place, Aseara trailing behind them to keep an eye on all five of them. They’d just began looking at the wares of one of the merchants when a loud whistle made them all turn. There was an Oban leering at them, Aseara moved closer to them, pushing them into a closer knit pack than before. Then the Oban began making obscene noises and gestures at them.
Aseara quickly looked around for help; the merchant looked embarrassed with a sheepish smile on his face but didn’t say anything. She knew she wouldn’t get help from him. Turning around, Aseara spotted a familiar light skin and waved to the man with the darker hair. “Excuse me, can you help us?” His hair and crystals gave him away as a half breed; she actually liked blue crystals on their pale skin. “Please, we need some help.” She said to him pointing to the Oban. “I’m just trying t make sure they stay safe.” Surely he would help them.

The hustle, the bustle, yep it was just another day at the market. Merchants shouting out their wares and prices, Draven was in back of his father's trying to wrangle in the crimson and gold Janarim that he had purchased not long ago. The critter still took swipes at the teen, this accounting for the bandages around his forearms. At times it was frustrating when the Janarim didn't want to do what Draven told him. He would have to find someone to help him train him.
"Regale, please, stop this. I won't be able to take you with me in public if you take swipes at everyone including me." Draven said as he held out a piece of meat to the Janarim. "Can we not get past this and work together? For once?"
It wasn't like the Janarim could answer as it took the meat from the teen and just about swallowed it whole. The crimson and gold bease, Regale as Draven named him turned its head away from the teen, ignoring him. Draven, just about to give up, got up and left the small room that he shared with his father. Leaving Regale behind, but the door open so if he wanted to follow, he could. Before he even reached the outside, the sounds of claws tapping against the hard floor followed him.
"Just behave, alright." Draven warned in a low tone.
The day progressed and Draven was well into helping his father sell the cloth and bobbles he always sold. Taking a break from it all, his head starting to hurt from the three older women fighting over the bundle of silken like cloth from the north. All trying to haggle over each other. He needed time away before he snapped like Regale would and get into trouble from many sides.
"Come on Regale, lets get out of here before I do something we both will regret."
The janarim gave a snort to the Teen's excuse, his tail flicking behind him. Draven rested a hand on Regale's shoulder hopefully calming the beast as he walked down through the other vendors. Lots were here, too many for his own liking.
'Excuse me, can you help us?' reached Draven's ears as he stopped and looked around, was someone calling to him? Surely not, he didn't know anyone here. Befuddled, he looked around before spotting a finely dressed woman waving in his direction. Head tilting to one side, Draven headed in that direction, most people making space for teen and beast alike. 'I'm just trying to make sure they are safe.'
Before Draven could even ask what the problem was he looked at the Oban that was making gestures and noises towards the group. Really? He never understood why men did such things that could land them into more trouble then they are worth. Looking back to the one that waved him over, he could understand wanting to keep the group safe.
"I'm not too sure of what I can do, but help you to a safer area. My father sells cloth and bobbles you might like." He said as an offer to keep them out of harms way.

“Any help is welcomed, I think he’ll leave us alone if we have someone who can fight back with us,” she looked at him and the Janarim by his side. Aseara turned and glared at the man, lifting up her chin and daring him to come any closer to them. The Oban paused his actions to eye the new comer and then his Janarim before weighing his options. A Janarim was not something you wanted to mess with, he waved his hand at them before crossing his arms and walking away his fun ruined. He was going to go find someone else to annoy.
“Your father is a merchant here?” It would be interesting to see what he had to offer. “If you’d like to lead the way…” Aseara turned to the girls, yelling out their name so they stopped oh’ing and ah’ing at the current merchants items and told them they were going to go somewhere else. With their attention again, Aseara turned to the man. “Alright, I think I’ve got them all please lead the way.” She was thankful to be away from the Oban even if he’d left on his own, she didn’t think he would have left without the man.
“Thank you for the help, I know we’re all strangers…” Aseara paused briefly. “I’m Aseara, can I know your name?”

Draven watched the woman as she mocked the Oban into trying something else with confusion. Was his 'help' just to show that she could get anyone to come to her aide and the aide of he group? This puzzled him as he looked back to Regale who gave a slow hissing rumble through his throat. Great, was this going to turn into trouble that he would have to flee from? Turning back towards the group of girls and the Oban that was wandering away, disappointed that his fun had been ruined. Even as a growing teen, nearing his coming into adult years, he would never understand why other men acted in such ways. "I will never understand these people, Regale." Draven muttered as the woman gathered the girls and looked back to him. "Draven, my name's Draven. This is Regale." He said and patted the Janarim to try and calm it, Turning around, Daven looked over his shoulder and motioned for the group to follow him. His father's stand wasn't too far, it was hard to miss with the bright cover and shining necklaces hanging from the front. Some holding stones others shells. The rolls of cloth stacked by color on the other end of the stand. "This is my father's stand. He's always willing to barter and haggle if something catches your eye. I can try and help, but I never know what people like." He scratched the back of his head as his face started to feel warm. He would be happy to be back to the comforts of his father's stand, Even after these few years of freedom, he still didn't stray too far. Feeling his companions unease, Regale nudged the teen gently giving a worried sound. Draven merely gave a smile and laid a hand on Regale's back as if it were going to settle his nerves, but the familiar could still Draven's hand quiver every now and again. This made Regale edgey, but he was trying his best to 'behave', fearing the cage he was once held in... One that no longer existed.

As Draven gave his name, all the girls turned and smiled at him before a chorus of ‘thank you Draven’ was echoed through the group. Aseara rolled her eyes shaking her head; they all thought he was cute. Gods knew what kind of mess she’d dragged the poor boy into as the girls all turned their attention on him, though his Janarim kept most at bay a few did wander he tiniest bit closer. They all saw a potential client in him but Aseara would not have any of it. She motioned for them to follow him while eyeing them to behave.
“We’ll see if the girls like anything,” Aseara wasn’t shopping so when they arrived at the cart she moved aside to let them gawk and ohh over everything the seller had to offer. From the looks of it they’d probably buy something from here but they were going barter with the man. With their attention away from Draven Aseara turned to him.
“I hope we aren’t bothering you,” she hated bothering strangers for such things. “Usually we go out with an Oban but sometimes we can’t and people like to give us weird looks. Bunch of Earthling girls who aren’t Oban wandering around tends to get a lot of looks.” Aseara couldn’t wait for the years to erase such actions. “Your hair and crystals are blue, where are you from?” She was curious after all, wouldn’t hurt to ask.

Draven almost felt jumped when the girls turned their attention towards him. Regale on the other hand moved closer to Draven, watching the other earthlings with equally gold eyes as his coat. Bearing a fang now and again if one of the girls drew too close to his bond, such as it was.
"This part of the market is where I usually am about, I know most the people here and almost what they sell. If they don't find anything here, maybe someone else will have something you are looking for." Draven mentioned to Aseara. "As they say here, there is always something for someone and almost no one goes home unhappy." Even if some things made even Draven uneasy.
"You didn't really bother me too much, I was looking to try and explore the rest of the market to see what the locals were selling. And get away from here cause my father's bartering sometimes get a little heated with some customers." he glanced over towards his father picking up certain pieces of cloth to show the girls who crowded the stand.
"I have no real home, been with the Caravan as long as I can remember. Don't know who my mother was, father doesn't much talk about her or where she is. When I ask he gets all down and doesn't talk. I am just guessing that something bad happened and its too painful." Frowning on his own, he remained where he was, with the Janarim at his side. Seemingly the critter was more comfort to him then anything else. Draven now thinking that he was telling too much to a complete stranger.
"What about you? You from around here?"

“That’s good to know. We’re putting on a play and have been collecting items for it little by little. Getting so many dancers dressed is hard.” They tried to get clothing from al the races so they were properly represented and then there were the endless fittings. It was hectic and Aseara couldn’t wait for it to be over, but at least they were buying things that would last for a while. Perhaps they’d throw some sort of big play every year, it would be easier to plan then wince everything was bought for. They’d just have to find people who fit into the right clothing.
“Ah I am glad to hear it!” Aseara continued to watch the girls while glancing at Draven once in a while as he spoke of where he was from. She wondered where he mother was, but did not question further as it would be rude to do so.
“I’m definitely not from around here.” Aseara chuckled. “I was found by the owner of the Red Amaryllis when I was eighteen back in Sauti.” She wondered if he knew what the Red Amaryllis was, but didn’t bother with an explanation either way. “I had a talent for dancing and she was looking for a Wind Earthling. I fit the bill and came back here. Haven’t left since the last war caused by the Alkidikes. My home is here though, I won’t be returning to Sauti.” Her tone held a note of finality to it. “What about you have you ever been to Sauti? Surely your father has taken you there.”

"A play? What types of plays do you and your friends put on?" well he thought them to be friends anyways, would someone just take a group of others out if they weren't friends? Draven wasn't all that sure about it. "Do you always buy new things for every play that you put on?"With Regale now seated at his side, Draven gave a glance towards Aseara when he felt like she was staring at him. He didn't press the matter of his past, there was much that he wanted to ask his father about when his father wouldn't have a break down. Frowning a little he looked towards the skies. The clammer of the people around them, the shoving and bustling. It was enough to chase dark thoughts away from a person's mind, ones that would like to run from anyways. "Sauti?" Draven paused in thought. "I think we passed through there to pass through Tale to get here. So many place along the route that sometimes it hard to remember one place from another." He scratched his head a little. "It was a nice place, with nice people in it, father seemed happy there, but the caravan was his family and never wanted to stay."

“Well it’s more like a large theatre dance then a play I suppose,” though it would resemble a play. “This will be the first one ever. It’s about the recent war, the one where the Alkidikes tried to push people out of Sauti. I’ve been learning some war like dances so I wanted to translate that into something that is more formal.” The wind girl gave a little laugh. “So this would be the first time we really go out and buy enough supplies for the whole thing.” Hopefully there would be more in the future, Aseara loved planning these kinds of things.
“Sauti is home to the Wind people, such as me and half of you,” she said softly. She didn’t know why it bothered her that he didn’t know more about his heritage, he ought to know both Wind and Ice. It would be obnoxious to say anything since she herself had decided to leave the place. “You should visit it someday, like really explore. Though I suppose you live the real life of a traveler. Where have you been so far?” She’d given that up a while ago, no regrets though. She enjoyed her life here in Oba.

"This trip, we started close to the Zena boarder, traveled the fringes of Sauti, cutting through it at some point. Traveled the southern fringes close to the Matori boarder. Trading goods here and there, exchanging some for other goods to have a variety to sell in other areas. Recently came through Tale and now are here in Oba. Not sure where the caravan heads next, its an experience traveling with them, but sometimes awfully boring when there's not much to see on the road. Just the rumble of the carts and wagons." Draven said as he looked back towards the older wind woman. This was as far as his experiences went with other places, traveling. He watched most people from the comforts of his father's lodgings and hid other times. Only time he wanted to be out was when it was just the caravan folk and his father around, they were all he knew.. Until now, after meeting a couple other interesting people. A tamer and rider in training, Draven was starting to see that there was really more out there other then being a merchant and always traveling. "I have heard whispers of the war that happened, but we stayed away from the more war torn areas. Caravan master didn't want to get too involved I think, I don't know." Draven had heard of the war, didn't know much about it. The talk of one kind trying to chase off another, to him it sounded like a mess. Like someone was jealous of what another had. Shaking his head he moved out of the way as someone passed by, Regale still sat off to Draven's side, watching those around.

“I haven’t traveled much myself so even those carts and wagons would be interesting.” Aseara didn’t really count her early days as traveling per say and she’d only really traveled back to Sauti when the war with the Alkidike had broken out. “I’m glad to hear that you were out of the war when the whole thing happened.” Dangerous times those were. “Well perhaps you’ll end up in Yael!” It would be lots of traveling, especially overseas but it could be an interesting place to end up in if he did go to Itotia’s home. A few of the girls paid for their goods and then turned back to Aseara.
“Would you mind walking us home?” She asked as she rounde dup the girls into a little bunch. “I mean if it’s not a bother of course.” He was back at his father’s caravan maybe he wouldn’t want to accompany them back to the Red Amaryllis. If he did, Aseara would make sure to offer him a gift in thanks for going out of his way for them. It was a kind gesture and was very appreciated. Plus, Aseara knew the girls would feel safer with him around, even if they were completely safe from here on out.

"That is a far away place for sure. Not sure if I would make it there, I don't think I will be traveling with my father and the caravan too much longer. Its a nice thing, but the slow travel can get a bit boring if its a long enough distance." Draven voiced in his own opinion, "We have a few people traveling with us from other regions. Some wanting a different life then what most call the norm. Seems like travel is a popular calling to some." To this he shrugged looking back towards his father's market stand, things were starting to come to an end. "You ladies have a great day and please return if you need anything else!" Draven's father said to the girls before turning his attention else where. Draven watched as things ended and his father bid them farewell to the women, then there was the question of him walking them home? Surely they could make it on their own? Then he thought back to the Oban that wasn't exactly the kindest of people in his actions. "Sure, I am kinda curious about his place you call home. Living in tents and wagons, I never get to see much of actual buildings besides when its Market Day." Draven scratched the back of his own head before adjusting the hair tie again as it slipped a little. "I think Regale would like to stretch his legs more then anyways. Get him out and about more so he's used to more people."The Janarim gave a snort as he rubbed his head against Draven's back as it to scratch between his still growing horn. Draven turned slightly to scratch the Janarim on the head before looking back to Aseara. "Just lead the way and we'll follow along. Don't think too many will mess with Regale, the Oban seemed quite put off at the sight of him." Again Regale gave a snort. "The merchant I bought him from wasn't the kindest of men. Think that may be why he doesn't like older men too much. Aside from my father, he seems to respect him well enough as long as he's not startled."

“Ah well that’s good thing, you always have to branch out at some point from your parents right?” Aseara wouldn’t know since her parents had left her before she’d done any branching, but she figured it was a step towards adulthood and that was always a good thing.
“Oh really? Well you know if you want to visit the place a little I don’t mind giving you a small tour too,” Aseara chuckled. “Not a lot of people can say they’ve seen the inside of the Red Amaryllis without first having paid the hefty entrance fee. Even fewer can say they’ve seen the back of it even.” They wouldn’t be going through the front door, but she’d still show him the nice side of the Red if he so desired it. If he’d only lived in tents and such, the Red would be quite the thing to see. The place held over twenty people that was for sure.
“The only familiar I have is a Keldari. It took a while to get used to me and even be tamed, but so worth it.” Turning to the girls, she said. “Alright guys, that’s enough spending for one day. We’re going back home. Draven will walk us.” They all ohh’d again before making their way in the direction of the Red Amaryllis. Aseara made small talk with Draven through the noble streets while wondering if he’d ever visited the noble parts. “Have you visited much of the city?” She wasn’t sure what kind of time working with his father left him but he would certainly be seeing quite a good chunk of the noble residences now.
“Ah here we are” As soon as the girls had spotted the three stories of the Red Amaryllis they’d all broken away from Aseara and Draven to go on and do their own thing. “It’s a little late so we’re going to go through the back.” Customers would be arriving soon and Aseara couldn’t be caught as she was. The Wind girl led him to the back alleys and then to the back of the Red before stepping into the building in the kitchens. “Home sweet home. Come on.” A few people looked at Draven but ignored him as they work, Aseara made her way to the nicer parts of the dance hall.
“So this is our dance hall.” It was the largest and most decorated room of the whole place. All of thir large shows were here.

"That and I need to get out and see what I can do on my own. I can't rely on my father and the caravan forever. I have to get out and see things for myself eventually." Draven said as he followed the rest of the pack, Regale padding beside him. "A tour, that would be fun. I don't explore that much, not too far from the Market area anyways." Draven commented as he looked back a little, making sure no one was following them. Then again, it wasn't really a case of not having time to explore, it was a case of not having the nerve to leave the safety of his bubble. Being a sheltered boy most his life and watching the world turn from the shadows, hidden from an unknown foe. Draven hadn't really wanted to explore much or too far from his bubble. Well with the plans he had in mind to do, he bubble was about to become non-existent. "I haven't really seen anything past the market alleys and cause ways. I am sure the noble housing is fantastic to those able to see them." though this he wasn't too sure of, there was much to see and his life was going to be getting interesting. As the group reached their destination, the other girls broke away to their own places, Draven followed Aseara around to the back. Taking note of what the building looked like, he couldn't imagine living in a place like this. It looked like it could get crowded easily. When they entered the kitchens, Draven stopped a moment as eyes turned towards him before the cooks and others went back to what they were doing. Well at least he wouldn't be tossed out for trespassing, but there was also Regale. The Jenarim poked his head in through the door before slipping through to follow Draven. Raising his muzzle a bit, he sniffed at the air before looking across the table top at the food that was laid out to be chopped, cooked and prepared for meals to the customers that would like the rooms out front of the building. Lapping his chops, Regale stepped closer to one of the larger pieces of meat on a table. Only to be stopped as Draven grabbed a hold of a horn and pulled his attention away. "Sorry, he has yet to learn manners." Draven apologized quickly before pulling the Janarim with him to follow the Wind woman. When they reached the large dancing hall, Draven just about tripped over himself at the sight. "You guys dance in here? How many dances are there?" He asks only knowing of the small group that he helped 'protect' in the market place.

“You’re missing out the best parts of the city then!” Aseara said. She would have thought that he would have wanted to enjoy the city and see what it had to offer. Or any city for that matter. I she had done that much travelling she would have done so. Perhaps that was why he was still with his father but was now seeking to expand his horizons and look elsewhere. “Well I’m more than happy to give you a small tour.” It wasn’t much really; if she’d have more time she would have shown him a lot more. This little tour would have to do for now.
“Don’t worry about it,” Aseara shrugged as long as the Janarim didn’t steal any food he was fine. “Well the big productions are done here, we also have more private rooms when nobles just want a one on one,” hopefully he didn’t think the more private kind of one on one. “But our main dance will be here once I finish working on it.” There wasn’t much left, but Aseara wanted it to be perfect which meant working on it a little every single day when she found some free time. Aseara motioned for Draven to follow her out.
“These are the main halls used by clients,” they were all decorated perfectly for the nobles. “And here…” Aseara stepped into another large room. This one was more so a lounge with a bar in the center, it was empty right now but would be completely full once darkness came. “This is where our main clients kind of hang out and meet the singers or dancers or even musicians. It’s where all the business stuff happens.” New clients were always brought here so they could find someone of their liking, but the old ones also came for drinks and to simply relax.
