Weapon description: Hirsch wields two pistols that can unfold into tanto blades, which he holds in a reverse grip. He will use the wind/air aspect of the bullets to give himself space and distance if he is in a tight spot. However, if he is in close enough to attack, he will use the bladed function of his weapon to attack, slipping into his enemy's defenses using such short blades, as well as his short stature, to his advantage. It takes a little longer to convert the blades to pistols than vice versa, but he has been tinkering with it to make the transformation faster to enable him to switch flawlessly. He can fight using one pistol and one blade, but he much prefers to avoid that.

Semblance description: He literally just bounces around the place with inhumanely (or in-Faunusly) heights, up to about roughly around 20 feet, using all his speed and energy to keep himself up and afloat while fighting enemies. This requires a lot of energy. To reduce the damage of impact, he wears boots with slight springs inside the sole that help take on most of the shock that could potentially harm him, as well as give him a slight advantage in jumping when not using his semblance. He would only use his semblance if he were in immediate danger and/or needs to finish the fight quickly, or just to pull a prank on someone.

Looks: A small, slight Faunus boy with tanned skin and ruffled, fluffy hair. He looks sweet and innocent, but is completely otherwise. He has big, round brown eyes. His has big fluffy deer ears from his mother’s side, which help him hear better. He wears a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows with a brown vest over it. He wears brown goggles on the top of his head. He wears white pants and light gray boots, which have springs in the inner sole that allow him to absorb shock that could damage his feet while using his semblance. He wears black fingerless gloves and wears a dark brown leather belt around his waist, which holds small similarly colored pouches that he can carry his bullets and equipment in.
Personality: He looks cute and fluffy on the outside, but he's a firecracker. He refuses to be treated as the weakest just because he is small. He usually uses his wits, but he has a strong tendency to get reckless in order to prove that he is strong enough to take care of himself. He refuses help as a result, which can lead to trouble for him. He is headstrong and determined to fight. He hates being thought of as a child, and wishes to prove himself to be justas strong as his teammates, even if he is the smallest. This is a result of him often being left alone when his other family is nowhere to be seen.
Despite this, he also has a playful side, as he likes to pull pranks on people when he's not trying to act tough and strong. His favorite ones are when he is able to trick an opponent using their strength against them. He’s also willing to go on a mission or adventure where they have to use their wits to complete or save themselves. He’s open to others’ opinions and suggestions...or at least he tries to be. Since he’s usually used to being alone, he likes to try to make others feel better, as he feels like that is something that he should do.
Hirsch is not a very mature child, to the point where he would be ready to beat someone senseless if they called him "short". However, he knows and can put that aside when there is danger, such as when fighting the Grimm. Background Information
Hirsch was born in a remote part of Vacuo. His mother, a Faunus, met his father, a human, in secret, some time after the death of her Faunus husband. She raised Hirsch and his half-brother Roan, a full Faunus, on her own before disappearing one day after Grimm attacked their latest campground. Roan barely made it out with a very young Hirsch then.
Roan and Hirsch lived together, roaming around in Vacuo for a long time before Roan had Hirsch enrolled at Signal Academy. Hirsch had shown interest in being a Huntsman when he was younger, after having watched his mother fight Grimm multiple times in the past. Soon after Hirsch started school, Roan left without a trace, leaving enough finances to pay for Hirsch's schooling. Hirsch trained hard at Signal Academy, and soon after applied for Beacon. Even though he missed his brother, Hirsch knew that his mother and brother both wanted him to be able to get an education.
He has dealt with discrimination for his Faunus roots for a long time, as well as his heritage, which he is used to by now, as well as some teasing about his small size. In turn, Hirsch showed bullies just what he was capable of. After finding that he could fight at a young age, Hirsch suggested to his brother that he could become a Huntsman, and make the world a better place for Faunus and Humans alike. Despite the constant teasing from humans and his own "lovable" behavior, Hirsch knows that the World of Remnant had a bigger enemy, and that that is the creatures of Grimm. Hirsch refuses to let the past of his family decide how he runs his own future.
