The Marketplace
A large market area with multiple stalls filled with many different kinds of items. The items here are not "relevant" in the same way the items purchased with mission-earned PD are: they are mostly for IC reasons, such as buying your character a hat or getting someone a gift.

Quillan
Quil perched on the edge of the display box, still catching his breath from the arduous scramble across the shelves and tables to finally reach what he needed. Even so, the increasingly scarce Sitrus berries weren't as easily obtained as they were found. Three measely berries sat in the very base of the wooden bin, far out of his reach and certainly far enough that he couldn't examine the skin for bruising or scrapes.
He looked around for one of the market staff to assist him, and finding nothing, steeled himself for what he already knew was a poor idea. Climbing into a box for berries roughly his coloration and only an inch and a half smaller than himself was not in his plans for the day. But he did it anyway, creeping down into the bin to assess the fruit.
His teammates would need the extra boost of energy to heal properly if they ran into trouble on their next mission. Skye knew how to heal and Quil himself could treat a variety of wounds (though not heal them himself), but the other two were hardly experts in medicine. He could figure out a way to use three berries for them. Even if they couldn't get the full four, Quil could share pieces off of someone else's in a desperate situation.
He examined the tough skin of the nearest berry, lost in thought as a shadow abruptly loomed over him.

Viann_______
The feline's form bobbed into the store with eyes upwards and a short list in hand, scanning the signs that welcomed him to the items homed neatly within their aisles. He'd never came here before personally- he never had to, but Paper in all of her preparedness insisted it was about time they started tackling missions and he agreed: the sooner he could get out and explore, cross places off, the better. He was eager to get started and so the Meowstic got right to it: alone, as planned. Viann rounded the store slowly. He browsed, but did not pick up or so much as stop to glance over anything particular. They simply weren't what he needed. Paper was a very specific individual. He liked that. Unfortunately she was also incredibly naggy and prone to rambling endlessly, leading to the Meowstic tuning out in most of their conversations. She was smart to leave notes.
He came to a slow halt at the rather poor berry selection, eyes down at the list in hand and lack luster selection before him. The psychic reached forward blindly, his mind far away elsewhere. Viann traced the maze that was the store. Where did he round around next? How did he make it most convenient to hit all of his stops in one go? This was the only thing actually out of the way and frankly, he wanted out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Stores were noisy, even when they were empty. All the noises he couldn't help but notice... made him a good bit apprehensive.
Viann wasn't expecting the furry object below. Of course the psychic immediately flinched back, sending the fruit spinning back across the pallet like a pool ball with his sudden jerk. His eyes were the last thing to meet the surface of the board; list long dropped and softly carried off below or elsewhere in it's journey to the floor. It was in a flurry of blinks that the Meowstic finally acknowledged the lackluster selection, still and silent and his wide pink eyes taking in the sight of the Joltik.
Honestly, his immediate response was a mild pang of disgust- why was there a bug in the produce? ... No, surely he were here for the same reason. Surely.
"S-Sorry." He wasn't exactly sure what else to say, fumbling over his own simple apology. He pulled back promptly after as it became apparent his list was, indeed, no longer in his grip and Viann's eyes were back to the floor.
Well... at least it wasn't long. He was pretty sure he remembered most of it. He just wanted to leave.

Quillan
Quil yelped as a shadow from above rapidly turned into a furry hand clasped tightly over his body. He dangled half-out of the other Pokemon's grip, only to be promptly flung back out of grasp and he bumped his chin roughly off the bottom of the display box. He sat there for a moment, a little bit dazed by the interaction.
The Joltik heard the apology from above and twisted to look up at the Meowstic. The voice was masculine enough, but he was very- that was probably a rude train of thought. He stopped it there and offered the psychic a shaky wave. "I-it's fine. S-sorry, I didn't see you." He stammed nervously. There was a creeping expression of confusion and disgust that curled down the corners of the Meowstic's mouth. Oh. " I just. I couldn't, uh, reach from outside the box," he excused himself, gesturing to the three entire berries that were left to choose from.
"...We're probably going to have to figure out how to split three berries, aren't we?" This last statement was offered with a knowing grimace. He had four teammates and now less than three berries, if Viann wanted a share.
