General Arena Rules
PVP Arena
In this arena, you and another player can choose to fight one another after deciding the conditions. These conditions are:
Weapons: 1 'Bronze' (Always)
Skills: Off / On / Which (Determined by combatants)
Wager: Gold (Determined by combatants)
Who goes first will be decided by rolling an RNG between 1 and 2. Players will pick a number ahead of time and then one of them will do an RNG post either in this topic or the discussion topic.
The players will then take turns rolling their attacks until one of the units reaches 0HP.
The winner receives 5exp and the gold.
Regular Arena
This arena is the regular one where you fight one round against a faceless unit and whoever does the most damage to the other is the winner. If the duel is a draw, then whoever has the most remaining HP is the victor. If that is a draw, another round will be held. If there is still a draw after three rounds, combine die result with combatants' LCK and determine who has the highest. If there is STILL a draw, you will be refunded your gold but gain the 5exp and 1wexp.
This arena has several tiers to choose from. Each tier has 10 classes listed, and the lists will be changed from time to time.
Rank A : 2nd tier classes lvl 11-20 : 500g
Rank B : 2nd tier classes lvl 1-10 : 200g
Rank C : 1st tier classes lvl 11-20 : 100g
Rank D : 1st tier classes lvl 1-10 : 50g
You will roll 2 d10s: one to determine what class you're up against and the other to determine the opponent's level. Each arena tier will have a base entry fee, and if you win the duel you'll get double the entry fee, 1 WPN exp (unless you stave bonk or use a stone), and 5exp. You will also receive +10 gold per level above lvl 1 that the opponent is, (if the opponent is lvl 2, you get +10g, if its lvl3, you'll get +20g, etc)
After determining who your opponent is, you will again roll 2d10s: the first number is your attack roll and the second is your opponents. Do the math to determine who does the most damage to the other.
In order to know what the stats of your opponent are, there will be a handy chart in the Doc like the ones we use to do the stats for our characters. Select the class you're against with the dropdown arrow, set the level of the opponent and there you go. If you're uncertain about it at first, ask somebody.
- The arena is a non-fatal, competitive activity and will be treated as such.
Characters will use the bronze or bronze equivalent of their weapon type. If the character can use multiple types, you can choose which type.
Stave users are free to enter if they want; give it your best bonk!
Do not forget the weapon triangle- it can make a difference.
Skills will not be used in the arenas, unless players decide to in the PvP arena.
Regardless of which arena you use, you can have characters fight in the arena 5 times a day.
This is not 5 times per character. It is 5 times total. Daily. Please keep track of this.
All arena posts will be made in this topic, except for planning PvP duels. You can use the discussion topic, PMs, Skype etc for that.
Winning in the arena grants 5exp per duel and WPN exp (except for staves)
Like always, you MUST keep your guild office file updated or you won't receive credit when that character enters another game.
