Eternal Flames

Crackling softly, the fire within this vial burnt ever warmly. If you put your hands near the vial you could feel the warmth the fire emanates as well. Not too close though, or you might burn yourself. But wait a minute! Everyone knows that fire couldn't burn without oxygen, any normal fire would burn out when oxygen runs out around them. But look at this!! Fire that had been burning in a sealed up glass vial for years!! It's rather convenient for warming purposes in cold weathers though.

Mermaid's Tears

According to legend, every drop of tear that flows out of a mermaid's eye would turn magically into diamonds! That's why until now, there are still some myth hunters that are still illegally and secretly capturing mermaids and made them cry everyday for their own greed, until the mermaid could cry no more. But in this glass, contained mermaid's tears that're still liquified. Why is it so? Had something terrible happened to the mermaid that cried these tears? No one ever knows, because the mermaid was never seen again.

Radioactive Goo

Isn't this odd? Radioactive substances that doesn't effect humans and a certain amount of living creatures, but is deadly to plants!! And people think radioactive is bad for EVERYTHING... This vial of rare Radioactive Goo is believed to be tainted (at least, tainted from normal radioactive stuff) and is now categorized as fel essence by Kyou.

What's this?? An empty vial?? But as you inch closer to the vial you could hear a faint song coming from the glass vial. A sweet voice, singing a beautiful song!!! Is this possible?? Eternal Ice

A piece of crystal-like stone glimmer in the vial. You might think it's just a normal crystal, but as you hold to the vial you could feel that the vial is freezing cold! The stone is no mere crystal, it's a piece of ice that will never ever melt. Even if we place it in hot boiling water, or place it underneath the sun for weeks, it's form and temperature remains the same.

Forsaken Afterglow

Sunlight is our natural light, it's shone down upon us from that huge ball of fire. Light also comes from fire, fluorescent lamps or even just a flick of it when lightning strikes. Every light that exists in this world has a light source. But imagine the surprise, when Kyou found a room inside a deep cavern filled with light? There were no openings for sunlight to shine through, no lamps or fire to create the light... The light just exists on it's own, floating around the ancient cavern walls. That's how Kyou acquired the essence of light.

Supernova Remnant

At the end of it's life, a star will burst into a massive energetic explosion called a supernova. These phenomenal occurrences happen millions of light years away from the Earth. Remnants have been studied from afar, but what if a special explosion occurred? A bend in interstellar space warped the misty supernova remnant to earth! Acquiring a sample, it's sparkling beauty is a magnificent sight to behold! It's almost as if you could see the entire universe swirling within the mist. This is definitely something very unusual and rare, as well as priceless!

Dragon Lich Breath

Little are known about ancient dragons, as most of the pure-blooded dragon species are mostly dead in the modern times. The dragon nowadays are either mix-blooded with other dragons or worst, other species. What powers does the ancient dragons posess? What abilities does ancient dragons have? Most importantly, how can an ancient dragon fossil breath? In this very vial contains a single breath from a dragon fossil. It only released one breath, and then crumbled into ashes.

Black Lightning

Lightning is an atmospheric electrical discharge, normally occuring during thunderstorms. They can travel up to 60,000 m/s, and reaches temperatures approaching 30,000 °C. Now the lightning contained within this little vial has the same speed, though maybe not so hot due to it's size. But if you travel close enough, you may still get zapped by it, so beware! The odd thing though, is that instead of being a blinding white flash, this bolt of lightning is black color. Even the eletrical current surrounding the vial appears to be black in color! It's not that the lightning is escaping the vial, but it's more like the friction created by the lightning and the glass of the vial somehow created black colored electricity around it. How perculiar. This is when the string attached to the vial comes in handy.

Eye of Storm

It is common knowledge that a tornado or a cyclone would most of the time contain an 'eye' in the middle of it. The eye is a region of mostly calm weather, characterized by light winds and clear skies, surrounded on all sides by a towering eyewall - a ring of storm and wind most severe in a cyclone. Do you know that the eye are always created by the cyclone? During the period when the cyclone wrecked havoc, the eye may or may not be there, depending on how the winds change their direction or speed. But upon hearing rumors about a terrible cyclone that had been plaguing an Asian continent for weeks without showing any signs of subsiding, Kyou found himself cyclone chasing it. To his surprise, he found an actual eye; like a creature's eye, in the eye of that particular cyclone. And it seemed like the eye is the cause for the cyclone. Because when Kyou captured the eye, almost losing his life in the process, the cyclone immediately subsided. Now the eye just whirled the little air contained in the vial to create little rattles sometimes.

Maiden's Hair

A long long time ago, how long it was, no one knew. There was an Asian maiden with long silky black hair and a terrible sickness, she's always sitting in her wheelchair underneath a sakura tree, staring at it's falling flower petals. People say her loved one died underneath that tree, some said his body was buried among it's roots. But nonetheless, the maiden had an undescribable attraction to the tree. She died, passed away peacefully lying beneath the tree. How did she managed to get out of her wheelchair when she's too weak to walk? Why was she covered in sakura petals though none were anywhere else on the floor? When Kyou found the tree, he was shocked to discover a strand of the maiden's hair, left behind curling itself on a tree branch. The strand of hair was still growing on it's own!! Does this mean that the corruption of the old world is still going on in the new world? Had it somehow affected the maiden and the tree? How far will the corruption lasts?? So many questions that could not have an answer...

Tangible Dream

Dreams, can be defined as a succession of images, thoughts, or emotions passing through the mind during sleep. It can also be defined as an aspiration or a goal in life. Which basically means it is incorporeal, it is a manifestation of thought that exists in your brain. But contained within this little vial is a corporeal form of a dream, ever changing and shifting in a myriad of colors and light. It floats like oil paints in air. But wait, how did this little crack get onto the vial? And more importantly, it seems like there is something black surrounding the crack. Is the dream being tainted by something else, and forming a nightmare? Or is the nightmare trying to get out of the vial?

Nocturne Rock

This small piece of stone reflects light and is smooth and polished, like a piece of black glassy rock. But when you actually look past the surface, small specks of white light shine, illuminating the rock from within. Strange! It looks like a piece of the night sky! During the Storm so long ago, if someone were to look up, it would seem as though they were watching the sky through a sheet of glass, right after the final cloud left, revealing the stars... And suddenly with a slight snap, a piece of that glass broke off a few feet above the ground and fell, capturing the sight within it. The rock remained hidden for ages, among other black stones, until Kyou one day discovered it.

Unwithering Leaf

The leaf inside the glass bottle looks as if it's just freshly plucked from a tree. But in reality it had stayed in the bottle for over 10 years! How come it doesn't wither? Not only that, it's defying gravity. I must assure you that the insides of the bottle is not vacuum. Kyou had suspected that this particular leaf is from the legendary Yggdrasil tree itself. Curiously though, there are weird splatters across the leaf, one would wonder what could it be?

Ice Rose

Glimmering in white, blue and purple sheen, the Ice Rose stood in radiant splendour. However, do not misunderstood, this isn't any rose carved out from ice. It's actually a real living rose growing out from ice!! Oh~ the mysteries of these fel essence! How can anything, much less a plant grow on a piece of ice? And the most amazing thing is that the rose doesn't wither and die, Kyou's theory is that the icey nature is what's keeping this rose immortal.

Arrow of Time

Everyone knows that time is something incorporeal. It cannot be seen, touched, nor heard. People also know that time only move forwards continuously, and never backwards. But this particular essence is a special one. As if a piece of time had materialized itself, a circle resembling a clock surface and an arrow resides within this jar. The circle spins ever so slowly, never stopping, and ever in one direction, indicating that time is ticking and moving forward. But the odd thing is the arrow, which seem to point randomly wherever it likes. Even going anti clockwise sometimes. The space around the circle and arrow seems to be of an entirely different dimension as well. Kyou had experimented and dropped a seed into the jar, and he witnessed it as the seed grew rapidly. Then at midpoint, the plant suddenly reversed and went back into the seed. A short while after, the seed fast forwarded, grew full bloom into a flower, and died in just a few seconds time. It seemed like the time space within the circle's dimension had been distorted. This is a very dangerous fel essence if placed in the wrong hand.

Lava Ice Rock

Be careful when you are holding this jar, as inside sat a peculiar piece of rock that is hot and cold at the same time. Ridiculous right? Everyone knows that fire melts ice, and water puts out fire. The two elements cannot ever co-exist with each other. But upon this rock which Kyou discovered in a post-volcano eruption ground, is the embodiment of fire and ice. The heat within the rock which was a piece of the volcano should've subsided and harden into a rock now, and there shouldn't be ice on it. What a mysterious rock isn't it? But again, I have to stress that you need to be extremely careful as you hold the jar, because the fire portion of the rock is extremely hot, like lava from the volcanoes; and the ice tip is extremely cold, like the tip of icebergs in North Pole.

Forceful Mistletoe

It is a very well known custom of Christmas cheer, that any two person who came across each other under a hanging mistletoe is obliged to kiss. Though a lot of people do it for the Christmas spirit, ultimately everyone has the power and rights to deny a kiss. But this particular mistletoe is different. As if having a will of it's own to stick to tradition, it forces any two person that met underneath it to kiss, regardless of sex and age. Kyou accidentally walked beneath it with an old lady once, and was overcame by a strange yet strong urge to kiss her. And kissed he did, unfortunately for Kyou, but fortunately for the old lady because she seemed quite delighted. And this is how Kyou found this peculiar mistletoe.

Fragments o' Rainbow

Rainbows are optical illusions caused by sunlight shining through water droplets in the atmosphere. Usually they take the form of a multicolored arc, with the colors red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and purple. There are a lot of myths surrounding the rainbow, such as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But ultimately, the rainbow is just an optical illusion and does not exist in matter. However, these pieces of rainbow colored fragments are indeed derived from an actual rainbow. They were chipped off before the rainbow disappeared, as if trying to exist longer in this realm.

Growing Amber

Amber is generally fossilized resin or tree sap from millions of years ago, sometimes having debris or little insects trapped in them. These precious gemstones are widely used as jewelry nowadays. But why does this piece of amber in this vial appear to be growing still? Without a tree to drip sap for it? Could it be that this amber came from the Yggdrasil tree that died so long ago? No one knows for sure. And the creepy thing is, even the little insect trapped inside seems to be alive! if you're lucky, sometimes you can catch it's little antennae twitching a little.

Cloud of Despair

You know that one metaphor about particularly sullen individuals having a little raincloud over them? Well, it seems in some cases to be true. In his endless quest to create and study Raevans, Doctor Kyou located an ancient city where everyone was trapped in their own misery. After leaving in a miserable state himself, he found that a part of the constant rainstorm over the city had followed him home! Capturing it in a fel essence container soon brightened his mood, but the little stormcloud still seems insistent on making anything close to it feel as hopeless as possible.

Visual Fairy Tale

Have you ever heard of stories that write themselves? This one makes itself. Deep, deep inside the forest by Barton town, where the more feral of creatures lurk, this essence remains, writing itself into the air. There's nobody there writing it - the words simply poof into being, describing and manipulating the lives of the creatures in the forest. They maim one another, pine for one another, travel with one another, and so on, and the forest remains magical and mysterious all because of the influence of this essence. Any being that comes into contact with the words in the air is immediately written into the story. The few people documented as having set out to find it have never been seen again. In its contained form, small words still poof into being. Will the forest be alright without it? Will the rest of us be alright with it?

Mimic Stone

It’s a rock. A plain, old, boring everyday rock with just a dusting of creeping moss on the side. It’s a scientific fact that a rock will stay a rock, no matter what size, color, or shape it is. It should not have the ability to change freely into a butterfly and flutter away or shift into a beautiful daisy swaying lazily in the breeze. But this little rock did not get mother nature's message. What looks ordinary now has a very special surprise once released from the glass test tube. Whether it’s a cup, a stapler, or even a human being, as soon as it's free of the glassy tomb the stone will immediately mimic the form beside it to perfection. There seems to be no limit to what it can change into and remains a fascinating little piece of magic history.

Physical Ectoplasm

The essence is physical ectoplasm. Not exactly the same as Slimer from Ghostbusters . . . ectoplasm is an immaterial or ethereal substance, especially the transparent corporeal presence of a spirit or ghost. However, rather than being transparent, this ectoplasm is a purple opaque material. Dr. Kyou found this substance oozing from the base of a cracked and decaying gravestone.

White Blood

It is undeniable that regardless of status, creed, or race, one’s blood would always be red (due to the iron found in the haem group of the blood). But lo and behold, when an innocent of sometime long past was charged with the death penalty for an accusation that he was guiltless of, the blood that poured out of his wound during the execution was not red but white much to the astonishment of the court. As the white blood pooled onto the execution ground, some of it was collected and kept as a memento of an erroneously judged crime. However, till now, the blood still remains as white and as pure and as un-coagulated as it the day is was spilled much to the disbelief of modern day scientists.

Self Indulging Ink

Normally, one would use ink to place their thoughts onto paper… but this ink has conceived a will of its own! It progressively swirls through colors of black, red, blue, and yellow; as if not wanting to comply to just one. This ink also sloshes to and fro as if trying to escape from its vial. If placed on its own it will begin to create pictures, notes, or anything in general! This ink is able to manipulate itself almost as if it is living. It is believed that this ink derived from the Yggdrasil Tree itself . Once Shira’s sorrowful song pierced the heart of the Yggdrasil tree, it shed tears of pain upon the land. These tears were morphed and weathered by the ancient storm into the sentient ink within the vial.

Inverted Flame

Wearing the illusion of being your average flame, you notice as you lean closer to it that instead of emitting heat it seems to give off a cool, almost cold air. But..it's a flame right? Flames should be giving off heat and light! Then you notice something else parculiar...it's not spreading any light. A darkness seems to creep up on things around the flame as if the darkness is the light that the flame should be shedding. So here we have a corrupted flame, one that refuses to give warmth and light to others but seems to jus do the opposite instead.
