
Tristan's heart wasn't in it. For Valentine's Day his fiance had decided to celebrate by dumping him. He should have seen it coming, of course. He actually had. It still hadn't prepared him for the reality of it all. Well, he and his fiance had been going out for a while now, so it was only natural he'd feel the gap in his life where she had been. He supposed he would eventually get over it. It wasn't like there was a true hole in his heart or anything; that would have ended in death, which might have been nice since he wouldn't be sitting here having to rummage through old memories. Ah, he was so glad no one in his family could read thoughts. He didn't mean he wanted to die or anything. His train of thought could just be morbid sometimes.
