Valentines again. Solaris barely remember last years lovey dovey Holiday, as he was still quite young. Talk of love to a young boy yet grown, they might make faces and stick out their tongue! Those things weren't talked about too often, even as an adult. Most of his time was spent with his adopted brother-father-kidnapper-friend, Firebrand. The relationship could be labeled different ways, depending on who you asked about it. Regardless of what you called the two, they were partners in crime. The two often found themselves practicing their "profession" together, in ways that had yet to be discovered by strangers. That's all a story for another day. Back to the talk of love, and Valentines Day. So this year, for this Holiday, Firebrand and Solaris Flame had discussed the topic of love. Firebrand seemed uninterested in the topic, but humored the Usdias interest. Solaris decided he wanted to try his hoof at it! And why not? The idea excited him, and seemed almost like a new adventure.
With that, the fire coated usdia set off on his own, towards the Kawani Village. The are about seemed lively and festive. Soquili and two-leggers were everywhere. He had never seen so many Soquili in one place before! Oh man, Fireband would of had fun here, procuring free things to take home... (Psst folks, he means stealing!) Tonight, that wasn't his focus though. Especially without his friend being there with him. Solaris snorted and gave an approving nod. "This is going to be fun."
Solaris Flare squinted his eyes about the local Kawani area, and gave a smirk. That smirk was a characteristic he tended to wear on his face often. A cool, smooth, grin that had helped him a few times, to wriggle his way into others good graces. Maybe tonight, it would serve to help him meet someone new.
"Hi there." he called to a passing full sized mare, with a flick of his head. The mare scoffed at him, and made a snide remark about him being pint sized. Solaris Flare laughed quietly to himself. Wow. She was a firecracker! Perhaps he should look for someone his own size, since this was all something unfamiliar to him.
Solaris scanned the crowd, moving his head this way and that. What he saw was couples, couples, and more couples. Those that weren't couples, were all sorts of shapes and size, but flocked together with other singles. This might be more difficult than he thought! He was a good looking guy, right? As he thought as much, he nodded his head, as if in confirmation. Self esteem wasn't something that he lacked, but nor was he over confident. He tended to just roll with things.
Wandering around, he continued his search, hoping to find a mare to meet in celebration of Valentines Day.
Where he would go from there? He had no clue. This game was not one he had played before!
