User ImageEve looked around at all the rides and games having just gotten her an Muninn’s tickets. This amusement park was one part regular park and one part water park. It was busy and bright day which meant quite a few others out enjoying the day which was just enough to make Eve want to curl up and stay out of the way. Fighting that impulse she scolded herself and made herself keep smiling she was here to have fun. Tapping her jean pocket she made sure her phone was still there. It was a small comfort she supposed. Giving Munnin a smile she was glad she could kidnap the little nightmare for a day. “Well now all we have to do is wait for Valentin and Blythe.” She wasn’t sure if this was really Valentein’s idea of a good time, but she was sure Munnin would be alright and with Blythe excited to come there was no way Valentein would be left behind. Rolling her shoulder back she readjusted her back knowing she packed way to many things but deciding it would be aright since they certainly wouldn’t be lacking if someone forgot something. Though it made for a slightly uncomfortable heavy bag to start. Not wanting to lug it around with her all day she flexed her wings and gave Munnin a quick glance. “Let’s see if we can’t find the lockers to stow belongings while we’re here.” She would keep out cell phone, her cash, id and a few other little things but hopefully stop feeling like an over burdened pack mule for the trip. “Blythe should call when they arrive so we can meet them by the front gate then. Sound good?” Peering at the map she tried to figure out where the lockers were here. Her little wisp was hovering along behind her head.

It was louder than Muninn expected. There were also tons of people so occasionally Muninn would lose to his bouts of shyness and plaster himself to Eve’s side. However he supposed it wasn’t that bad. Grendel University was just as crowded, or at least it had been whenever Muninn had gone with Yue to see his dad. However to say that Muninn wasn’t worried, would be untrue as well. He knew that mutants were heavily looked down upon. He knew that he was lucky in the sense that his mutation wasn’t too noticeable. If he closed one eye and grabbed on to some one’s hand or let Midgard guide him than most people didn’t notice that his pupils were actually stars. However his other mutation was a bit more out there as he had double irises in the eye he often closed. So he was nervous going out, because sometimes people were really really mean. However he wanted to go out with his friends, show that he did have friends so he was trying to hold all the negative emotions in and have fun. He told his mom when she agreed to the trip that he was going to have the best time ever.

“Well hopefully they have a nice and journey over here”
Muninn replied. He wished he could help with carrying the bag, because it looked really heavy but he wasn’t sure how long he would actually be able to carry it. Eve was right and that a locker was the best thing. “Right, Muninn thinks he remembers the map saying they were over to the left of the entrance on the other side of the front gate so we can totally knock out two things at once”

User ImageBlythe had set up everything perfectly for once, he had secrelty talked to a close family member who lived nearby to get them approval to leave campus so they could meet Eve and her friend at the theme park for the day. Blythe had told Valentein it was a secret where they were going and had done everything he could to make sure she wouldn't find out. They were in the car and he was so excited that his legs were jittering as he couldn't sit still on the ride over. Their aunt had driven them over to the park and stopped at the drop off point. "You kids just call me and let me know when you need to be picked up. Have fun!" she winked at Blythe and smiled at Valentein. Blythe practically jumped out of the car, not able to wait any longer. He would have run off immediately if he hadn't had to turn around to make sure Valentein was right behind him. "Here we are.... The surprise was a THEME PARK!!!" he exclaimed excitedly, holding his hands up to be extra showy about it.

User ImageValentein had known the whole time where they were going. She was too smart not to have figured it out. Maybe that was for the best that she knew, as she purposefully feigned ignorance about the whole thing to play along with Blythe. Besides, after the stress of a few of her classes, she could really use a break from the usual. As they approached the park, she could feel her heart sinking, she hated the idea, but wanted to make Blythe happy. Valentein nodded in agreement to their aunt and exited the car. Watching Blythe be this happy almost made her smile. "Oh my. I had no idea I'd be at a theme park. Blythe you have truly outdone yourself." she manage to force through her normal deadpan voice as Blythe beamed in response. She had found over the years that Blythe could not tell that she wasn't being genuine even despite not sounding the slightest bit enthused about it. Valentein stared on for a moment and took a deep breath. This was going to be exhausting but she would endure it the best she could. For Blythe. "Well, let us go inside." she tagged along closely behind Blythe as he walked. She knew what to expect from a theme park. Their mother had talked about them once and she researched what they were to understand the concept better, and came to find that it wasn't something she desired. In fact, she never expect to ever be dragged to one, so that in itself was a surprise to her.

Blythe paid for two tickets and entered the park with Valentein. As they came into the sights, Blythe's eyes widen in awe and he stopped in his tracks. He was speechless and excited. Valentein stared up at him for a moment, then grabbed his hand. "Hey. she called out, tugging a bit. He was unresponsive. "Hey!!" she called out louder in annoyance. Still nothing. She made a displeased grunt and stuck her other hand in his overshirt pocket, pulling out his phone. After a few button presses, she texted Eve. "We are at the front gate." then put the phone back in his pocket. Tugging once more much harder. "Blythe! Are you just going to stand here all day? Are you seriously going to make Eve wait on you to come back from outer space?" Blythe suddenly let out an stifled excited shriek and began to hop about. "VALENTEIN! LOOK AT ALL THIS!!!" Valentein jumped slightly at the shriek, she hadn't seen him this excited since the last time they saw their mom. It made her happy, but also dreadfully sad. She swallowed hard and cleared her throat, collecting herself. "You idiot! You're going to scare off Eve this way before I even get to meet her." She folded her arms with annoyance. She honestly didn't care to meet Eveilyn at first, but Blythe was so adamant that they meet, how could she deny him. Sighing again, she looked around at the crowd as a lot of people were beginning to stare at them as Blythe was still making a bit of a scene. She just wanted Eve show up already so they could start moving, looking around for a girl in purple. Valentein knew only what Blythe had told her about Eve, so basically her appearance and that she was really nice, sweet, and kind. Also, that she was a Fallen. That was the extent of her knowledge which bothered Valentein since she now sought to know everything she could about this girl that had seemed to enthralled her older brother. She hadn't even been told about the other nightmare that would be accompanying them, and honestly hadn't bothered to dig far enough to find out that had been the plan all along.

Eve held onto Munnin’s hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. “I’m sure the trip will be alright. Blythe said family was going to drop them off so no worries.” She gave the freshling a large smile and headed off toward the entrance. Munnin was right of course the lockers were easy enough to find. She was tempted to tell them good eyes, but given how shy Munnin seemed on the matter she opted for another choice. “Great memory Munnin. Let’s see our things will be in locker…. 213.” Sliding the key band on her wrist she hunted down the locker and wedged their belongings in. She had barely done that when she got a text. - We are at the front gate- “Looks like they made it safe and sound. Let’s go snag them.” Valentein and Blythe might have things with them and if that was the case they would be able to stack them on Eve and Munnin’s things. “Blythe seemed excited about coming, though I don’t know what Valentein is like.”

Heading to the gate it wasn’t hard to find Blythe though Eve and Munnin had missed the initial shriek of joy. Blythe was looking around at everything while there was a freshling who looked like a miniature version of them. That must be their sibling Valentine. Waving she called out to the pair. “Blythe, Valentin.” It was true there were more than a few nightmares were staring at Blythe in his excitement but Eveilyn had gotten used to the hybrid’s excitement level in her conversation from him at the speed date, as well as the planning for this outing. She had resolved herself that there would undoubtedly be a lot of starring at them today anyway so this start was rather excepted and accepted. Curling her wings she refolded them in a more comfortable position. Once the group was all together she made introductions. “Munnin this is Blythe and their sibling Valentein. Blythe, Valentine this is Munnin. We have a locker picked out if you need to stow anything before we get started.” Eve wasn't worried about Blythe liking Munnin. She knew her fallen aspects were close enough to Munnin’s that Blythe would no doubt like them right away, given how much Blythe liked purple. After all Munnin and she looked close enough to be mistaken for family. Her little wisp seemed to float around before settling on hovering behind Munnin. She wasn’t worried about it feeding on anyone since she had made sure to feed it prior to leaving for the park.

Muninn looked up at Eve when she squeezed his hand and nodded. Parents or relatives were pretty good at keeping family safe and it wouldn’t do to start the trip by worrying, well any more worrying that he had already done. He did have to smile though when the lockers were he thought they were. “Mom and dad normally carry a lot of things too so it’s a habit I guess to look for storage areas.” He finally spoke up putting his stuff in the locker as well. He did make sure to grab a pair of sunglasses though. He wasn’t sure he could take Midgard on all the rides and it would be nice to be able to use all his eyes and not worry about passersby. He wanted today to be fun, and without the sunglasses he would be paranoid as all get out. He had toyed with possibly not wearing them which was why they were in the bag but old habits won out it looked like.

“That sounds good. It wouldn’t due to keep them waiting for too long. I’m sure they want to start the day out too. I hope they didn’t bring too much stuff, maybe we should try to get another locker…” Muninn agreed, although would they let them have another locker. While there seemed like a decent number he wasn’t too sure since it was an awfully large park after all and he wasn’t sure if that was enough lockers. Ah well he would find out soon and he didn’t really mind carrying all his stuff if he needed to. Ah… his thoughts where rambling off again weren’t they.

Muninn trailed shyly behind Eve after getting his thought pattern back in order, so that he was mostly out of view while he took in the siblings. It was nice they were both part fallen. Fallen as a species tended to be more polite after all, then again this wasn’t always the norm. His dad was hardly the typical Fallen. However Muninn did like Fallen because they normally had pretty wings so he gave a brief glance. Both pairs of nightmares had rather pretty red ones, although Muninn knew it was a weird thing some times to point out so he stayed silent when they walked over.

Ah… he had forgotten introductions, that meant that he had to step out from behind Eve didn’t it. Well it wasn’t as if he could spend the whole time behind her and he did want to meet the person Eve talked about. “Hello, it’s nice to meet you all. Thanks for meeting us out here today” He replied hoping it was polite enough. He did however let out a small smile when Eve’s wisp circled around him. His mom had one like it, well hers was a different color but most wisps were the same. He was glad it didn’t seem too spoked by the crowds.

User Image"I'm excited to be here! I've never been to a theme park!! Also it is really nice to meet you, Muninn. You look like Eve and I like that! Purple is my favorite color!!" Blythe was more than estatic to be there and was trying to take in just the entrance of the place. He had barely been outside of his house most his childhood, and now here he was at a theme park. What was a theme park, you ask? Blythe had no idea! But he was excited. He could already see twisted metal sculptures with linked cars attached to them, and he could see smaller attractions of lights and people screaming with joy over the thrill-seeking rides. Blythe managed to calm himself down enough to stop hopping up and down but his legs were still shaking excitedly. "Oh, we did not bring much! Valentein brought a small bag that I can keep stuff in if I need to!" it didn't occur to him even then that it was obvious that Valentein knew about the plan.

User ImageValentein didn't exactly seem enthused about being there as she didn't change her expression but simply nodded at them both. "Oh yes, I had no idea we were coming to a theme park, as such I did not anticipate that I would have a fun-filled exciting day of loud noises, waiting in lines, overpriced snacks, and lots of hot sun." she was so monotone, it was hard to tell whether she was sarcastically joking or being completely serious. She forced a small smile then went back to her normal expression. Her eyes looking over Muninn then falling on Eve as her eyes seemed to narrow very slightly. "I definitely have been eager to meet you. Thank you for inviting me." she stated simply, eyes still fixated on Eve as she spoke. She looked back to Muninn, he was young like her, but was he smart? She hadn't expected there to be a fourth person, but she supposed it made sense. Val began to wonder if they had brought them two together merely based on their age. It didn't matter at the moment. She was here for Blythe, and essentially to learn more about Eve. "Please forgive my sibling's excitement, we have never been to a theme park. He honestly has no idea what is happening." she spoke again blandly.

Eve listened to Blythe smiling and very glad Blythe was the way they were, it would make it much easier on Munnin. When they mentioned the bag her brows shot up and she looked to Valtien. It was defiantly less of a surprise then she would have thought. The bag was small enough that carrying it around wouldn’t be an issue. Smart planning on the freshling’s part. “Just let me know if you want to drop that bag off as well.”She tried not to laugh at Valentein’s description of a theme park. It was certainly true enough from most perspectives. “And there is getting splashed and playing in the water available here as well. Still I think we should be able to try and win something at the games and find something tasty even if it is overpriced.” Her voice was kind and showed optimism, though she would rather be in a less crowded place then this. “I’m glad Valentein. I’ve been eager to meet you as well. Blythe talks a lot about you.” It was the truth every word of it. She took a glance at Blythe and chuckled. He was so enthusiastic perhaps he was the one who was going to have the most fun here no matter what. “That’s alright. Amusement parks are meant for having fun so they fit right in. Besides I remember my first time to an amusement park. While not as enthusiastic it was .. memorable.” She had found one of the few stands that had journals and books and played until she had won one of each kind to take home which had taken more than five hours of playing the simple game.

She gently patted Munnin on the shoulder. “Anything you’d care to try first Munnin?” She knew Munnin was painfully shy or at least self concourse so having them pick an activity to get lost in was a good start and Blythe and Valentein could try something new at the same times as well. Handing him the map she let him make the choice. She had seen some ring toss games, dart games, guess the number games, ball games, and various food sellers already. So there was a lot to pick from. “Ready Blythe?” Eve held out her other hand for Blythe knowing how energetic he was she didn’t want him to get lost in the crowds. Munnin would stick close and her other hand just in case. Somehow she wasn't to worried about Valentein at all. Blythe was right she was very independent.

“Ah… thank you. Purple is a pretty neat color. Eve says really nice things about you so… ” Muninn stopped here and took a deep breath. He remembered the meeting with Jaden and Gaius and that they all were taken back on how he spoke. He knew that Eve didn’t mind that he talked but he wanted to make a good impression which means he really had to concentrate on what he said. “So I was really looking forward today” he finally rushed out. He did have to look at Valentein for a second. He definitely knew that tone and worried at his bottom lip. He hoped that she eventually had a good time. He wondered if maybe it would have been better to have gone to the planetarium after all. However it wasn’t time to get lost into his thoughts and Valentein was talking to him. “It’s okay. Theme parks can bring that out in people sometimes when it’s there first time. He’s not the most exuberant response I’ve ever seen”

“Ah well maybe we can start out with one of the water rides. Since it’s their first time I don’t want to suddenly throw them into a ride like the fireball that might be really jarring for the first ride”
Muninn finally decided. He was a bit taken back when Eve had turned towards him and asked him to pick the first ride. He also liked the mirror houses but mostly because of his eyesight he already had an unfair advantage when navigating through them. “Ah but if you guys don’t want to hit the rides first then I don’t mind if we do something else”
