Honesty Hour; it has taken Kristen a whole year to memorize the layout of Crystal Academy - To her horror Destiny City University was just as big and the floor plan was just as confusing and nonsensical, a problem all older buildings had; and alas, she was lost and in an alien environment.
The red-head was dressed in her interview year, a grey dress suit with a large cyan bow tied around her neck. To the students it must have been easy to spot the high school kids, all dressed up and nervous about their interviews. Yet to adapt to a life of sleeping until noon, pizza and rushing to write essays one hour before the hand in time.
The difference between this place and the all girls academy was huge. She had never gone to school with boys before.
Kristen kept looking down at the map she had been given at reception and pouted; it made no sense and she was getting more pissed off the more wrong turns she took. On deciding that it might as well be written in Arabic for all the help it was, she scrunched it up in a ball and threw it over her shoulder.
She was not going to make her interview; she was not going to get into DCU and she was going to die alone and degree-less.
"Balls to it! I am just going to die in this Labyrinth - Goblin King have mercy."

Having been at the University for a decent amount of time, Anxo had eased into the role of the non-stressed student. He was very casual with his wear and his books, carrying only the essentials, plus a few 'mom' tools. You know the ones. Snacks, bandaids, pads/tampons for his lady friends just in case, some water bottles, extra pens just i ncase someone forgets, a glasses repair kit, some paint and sharpies.. But other than that, he looked like he didn't have a care in the world, all cozied up in his hoodie while he walked down the pathway towards his favorite building in the school. Moseying down the path, he realized just how many new students were there today. Well, not new students, but high schoolers who seemed to be panicking about getting into this place. It wasn't all that hard, if you did well in school, but there was always such a panic. On particular person caught his attention. Specifically because she launched at paper map at him that bounced right off of his sleepy noggin. He wasn't mad or anything about it. This wasn't the first time he was paper assaulted by a passerby, and it probably wouldn't be the last. Instead of fussing. He simply picked up the offending paper, and rushed just a bit to catch up with the student, giving her a gentle tap on the shoulder. "Hey, You.. Threw this. Kinda bonked me on the head. I take it you're a bit lost? Did you need some help?"

She was not expecting a tap on the shoulder.
The redhead looked over at the boy who had come running after her - a crumpled paper map in his hand. Was her aim really that good? She was not even trying! Still, it was lucky it had hit someone, Afterall he had come up to help her and the relief was all too obvious in her face.
A true knight in shining armour that was going to single-handedly save her career. This sleepy eyed, casually dressed college bum had gallantly rushed to her aid ~
Her waist length braid swished behind her as she turned and then gave a very shallow, formal bow in his direction. "I have an interview in the graphic design studio - it's in like a quarter or an hour. Nope; thirteen minuets. Its in thirteen minuets." She sighed, large cyan eyes looking up at him longingly.
Basically begging him to lead her to her destination.

The girl turned so quickly that Anxo was half expecting to be whapped with that braid. Honestly, though, that just made him smile. His own long hair was just kinda flowing freely in the chill breeze, just because he enjoyed feeling majestic at times. Though sometimes the long hair caused him to be hard of hearing, and so he pushed part of his hair behind his ear as he listened to the redhead's plight. Oh.. So an interview student! Yes, he remembered those days! The panic, the sleepless nights practicing, all the hard work, and then he showed up and was way too enthusiastic about it and they went "COME ON IN!" He supposed that just made sense for the Theater Department after all. Enthusiasm was what was needed the most. That and time management skills, and Anxo was great in both departments, or he'd like to think so. "Graphic design studio? Ah, yeah, I know where that is. I'm heading there now, since it's in the same building as the theater department. If you have thirteen minutes to get there, it'll take us seven." He beckoned the girl with one hand, before it was shoved back into his pocket to escape the cold air. "Just follow me! The name's Anxo, by the way. Who are you interviewing with? Maybe I can give you some pointers."

Seven minuets. It would only take seven minuets.
She took a deep breathe and then exhaled; a wave of calm coming over her at the realisation that all was not lost. "That is a relief!"
He beckoned her and she followed like a lost puppy; the sound of her kitten heels clicking against the flooring as she walked. She kept her bag tightly by her side as if her life depended on it; her short legs moving quickly to keep up. "My name is Kristen, Kristen Baskerville." She finally stated.
Looking up at the college student and tilting her head to one side in wonder. "Theatre? Are you studying acting?" She was obviously making conversation to try and overcome her nerves; she had never been the best with small talk. Back in Crystal she was a big fish; here she felt like a minnow - Lost without her group of friends and the reputation she had built over the years.
"Oh, erm. It is with McGregor. Is that a man or a woman?"

A smile was thrown over Anxo's shoulder to Kristen before the continued to look forward towards the decently sized building. Of course, being the theater department, it was very much one of the fancier buildings on campus. Their stage was host to a variety of shows throughout the year, including some concerts and big name performers! He couldn't be more proud to say he worked on such things at times, though he never could allow himself to brag about what he did. Just never felt right. "A warm hello and welcome to you then, Kristen. A pleasure to meet you!" His hand would have extended out in greeting once more if A) He was facing her, and B) it wasn't so darned chilly! Maybe he should have worn a bit more... But then again, last night was another late night paroling so beggars couldn't be choosers when they overslept. "Sadly, I do not have the confidence and the ability to lie so there's no acting for me! I do Backstage Technologies. You know, like putting together sets, helping actors with their placements and special effects with lights and stuff. And Mr. McGregor... He's a pretty chill dude, I think. He really likes scenery graphical images, so if you have any samples of that, you're set. But if not, talk about places you've been, inspiration from nature. He eats that stuff up like it's popcorn." T e b i k ii Just assuming it's someone made up!

Clack. Clack. Clack.
She kept up with him, her bright eyes looking up at the fancy building they were approaching. She should have guessed it was going to be in the most decorative and pretentious looking mount of bricks in sight; the arts tended to be taught there - Though she was sure that was because they preferred to give the more modern buildings to courses that were more profitable, the ones they really liked to push and show off.
"I see, that sounds interesting though. I am afraid I don't know much about theatre. I guess that will change quite quickly if its based in the same building." If she had to walk past the classes everyday; there was no doubt that the theatre group would be one of the crowds she ran with.
"Actually my mums family live in Japan and we visit them every chance we get. So, I have some images from the Sakura-matsuri and Hokkaido festivals." Kristen very much took after her father; she did not have many features that suggested she was a quarter-Japanese, though her eyes gave it away a little.

Even as pretentious as this building was, Anxo really loved it. Upon entering, one was immediately greeted by the smell of sweets wafting from the bakery/concessions stand. Gods knew he loved it here, even if it was so unhealthy since he literally bought a glazed croissant from the place each day before class. Today, he'd skip in favor of assisting this poor kid. He would hate it if he were the reason why she would miss her meeting! "Yeah, you'll definitely learn something hanging about this building. It gets loud the closer it gets to show time. I even had one of the costume design students chew me out for making a mistake. It gets fierce so it's best to just stay out of their way." "Ah, cool, cool, it must be nice having family overseas. Going to go visit during a wonderful cultural event is one hell of an amazing time, I bet!" A longing gaze was sent to the bakery as they entered the building and passed it on by, heading to the elevators. "Mr. McGregor is up on the third floor. I hope you don't mind the elevator. I just woke up, and with those heels... Well, it might just be easier this way."

Oh my God, she was so hungry!
Ofcourse she thought that a confectionery stand right by the entrance of her building was the universes idea of a person attack. Kristen was a model and constantly counting calories; the smell of it was a cruel joke and nothing more and her insides wept as she marched past it - quickly eyeing up a doughnut as she did so.
"Loud is okay; I am used to loud. I think I am one of those people who thrives off of chaos; nothing says get s**t done like panic, you know." She shrugged; Kristen was organised, but no matter how much you planned things were always destined to go tits up when given the chance - it was something she always prepared for in plans B though Z.
Her eyebrow arched when he mentioned that someone had actually assaulted him over a mishap; theatre students sounded intense. "Catty." She stated with a small chuckle; she was doomed.
"It is a bit of a culture shock, but really pretty none the less - the food is a lot better too, especially from the stalls." She continued; she loved wearing a kimono and taking part in festival games. Japan held a special place in her heart, but she doubted she could move there - She was too much of an American girl. "Not at all - and thank you for helping me out."
She nodded as she headed into the elevator.

"You're more than welcomed, Kristen... I hope you have a good day, and Good luck! If everything goes well, then I'm sure I'll see you around campus soon! But I'm one hundred percent sure that everything is going to go splendidly! You certainly have the attitude for it!" Anxo was not lying when he said he was still sleepy, but he did manage to stay vertical long enough to wave her off with a sweet smile and a small wave goodbye. "I'll see you soon!" With that, he meandered off to the cafe nearby. Maybe a two pound bag of sugary doughnuts would help wake him up! T e b i k ii okay, NOW this is officially closed biggrin
