One week. Amphitrite was aware. It had been exactly one week since they had been taken, now. She was no longer tied to the bed... not since Ash had found her the day before. There was little to be done, but it was enough to have the power to sit at the edge of her bed rather than bound to it, to be able to walk, to prowl. No one else had come from the order since.
She had been, for a time, grateful just to be able to move, but it still was not enough. She was still caged, still trapped, and still an anxious, sweating mess, her hair sticking to her face no matter how many times she tried in vain to push it away.
No one from the order had come, no. Neither in this entire week had any one of their own, those of chaos, of the Negaverse. Amphitrite had, on her own, tried her hands at bending the bars, breaking them. Nothing. The walls were too solid. There was nothing that could be done on her own, now, nothing, why weren't they coming why hadn't they come had they even noticed had they even -- ?!
Then, there was a shift. From down the hall, the corrupt heard a crash. She jumped up from the fold-out bed, slowly approaching the bars again - and something, she knew, had changed.

Somewhere deep in the complex, Ash stared at the beautiful machine with a mixture of pride and apprehension. Cobbled together out of various electronic parts and bits of wire and crystal, it was a monstrosity of a thing, but it was also wonderful and amazing and the culmination of everything she had ever done up to this point... because this machine had the power to block Negaverse magic.
It had been a critical component to this operation, and maybe it was arrogant, but Ash like to think her lovely child was the only reason this had all happened in the first place. After all... you couldn't hold an upper level Nega against their will without some way to keep them from simply teleporting away. Take that, and they were helpless, as helpless as their people had been last year when they had been taken.
That thought drew Ash's attention back and her ears pressed back against her sleek little head. As beautiful as her child was... there were people who were more important. Or... one person, anyway. One person who should not have gotten caught up in this and she feared having done so might have ruined any chance she had ever had of bringing Amphitrite back to her.
But she was going to make it right, she had determined. She was just going to shut it off for a little while, that's all. Just long enough for the corrupted super to escape. It wasn't even like she was doing all that much... they still had the rest of the captives, what was one set free? And the rest were going to be released eventually too, or... left to be found.
Shaking herself all over, the guardian squared her shoulder and her face firmed. This had to be done. It was important and she had made up her mind, come what may.
Reaching out, the silver Mauvian pulled some of the wires free, breaking their connections with a pop and fizzle of electricity. There had been no time to build in an off switch... disconnection was the only way to stop it. Sparks flew and Ash squeaked as she jumped, her tail puffing up behind her. That wasn't supposed to happen! Frantic, She tried to stop the machine as more sparks popped and snapped, spreading slowly across it as smoke began to curl upwards in lazy curls.
The machine that had been protecting the prison complex dropped its signal, releasing the blanketing effect it had been casting over the Negaverse agents in their cells...
A pop of displaced air announced the arrival of a tall woman in the fenced yard of the complex, her booted feet planted wide as her leather coat settled about her. Her face was twisted and hard, her attention focused like a hawk's on the building before her.
Here, Valhalla had revealed, were their missing agents, being held captive by the forces of Order. Taken, as though they flaunted their ability to get away with such an act. Were they really naive or stupid enough to think there wouldn't be retribution?
Around her, more officers began to arrive and as the strength of their collective auras began to build, a smile began to spread across her mouth, pulling back red lips to reveal sharp, pointed fangs.
General Cinnabar had sent out a call for every available officer for this mission. Everyone who could come was, and together? They would tear this place apart, brick by brick. Anticipation made her heart leap and bound in her chest, adrenaline spiking along her nerves to leave her all by vibrating with excitement. It had been too long since they had battled Order as a group... now they would be reminded why the Negaverse was worthy of their fear and respect.
"Remember, the captives are our priority! They may need carried and teleported to safety. Check every last corner of this place... we won't leave anyone behind!" She called out to her fellows. She was not their leader, just one of many, but it bore reminding for the lower ranks, who might find themselves more interested in engaging the enemy than in saving their comrades.
"If you get stopped by one of those senshi or knights though... Don't hesitate to kill them. I think perhaps they need a lesson in why provoking the Negaverse is a bad idea."
She laughed as she leaped forward, breaking into a run for the door that led inside. She hit it with a crash that bent metal, tearing it off its hinges and opening the way for the rest to head inside.
Quote:
FREE FOR ALL! Go go go!
If you have a nega you want to participate, you can assume Cin's wide-band call reached them and they were instructed to arrive here at a particular time, with the details of the layout as she learned it from the outside. There wasn't much time to do much more research than that. The hope is that overwhelming numbers will save the day, at least on her part.
If someone has marked their character free for anyone to save, go wild! If they are requesting a specific person, please leave them for that! The list of captives is in the first post under the spoiler tag.
Order characters are probably inside, and could possibly arrive from outside if they liked and wanted to help save people. The machine blocking teleporting has been disabled and weapons can also be summoned.

General Aurostibite - going after DMC Mintaka
He had, of course, listened to the call when it had been offered.
There was little to no question of Aurostibite's participation, after all. He made his way alongside the others with his jaw set, both of his weapons already summoned and held tightly within gloved fingers. Anger seeped through him like a poison in his veins, and while he could not be positive of her presence here, Mintaka had not been home for an entire week.
There could be only one singular explanation, and Aurostibite intended to find it.
He slid through the throngs of people, following after Cinnabar into the jail, and though he was filled with a sense of fury at the White Moon, his outward expression remained calm and collected, coolly determined. The door was easily destroyed, a simple thing to be knocked down.
Aurostibite stepped in over the twisted metal, his eyes narrowed.

A much dainter, though no less fierce general appeared at the tall half-youma's side. Unlike most attacks on order, the woman was devoid of any smile. Instead, it was a furious sneer that stretched across dark lips as she unwound her arm from her newest lieuteneant's waist. "Help where you're able," she ordered levely, gaze never leaving the large building before them. "Avoid the stronger auras. Return to me or call for help if you find yourself in danger."
Usually she'd have kept th woman close, but Xenotimrs priorities for the evening were clears. Find Ochre, insure his safety. Should any order fighter be foolish enough to stand up to her, anihilate them.
She made a quick glance around her at the other gathered forces, looking for Umber in the growing crowd. No doubt he'd be on a similar mission. If she could find him early, combine forces, there would be no stopping them.

Sailor Ceraskia - waiting for Schörl
Something had changed, though the dainty dancer couldn't have said what, for sure. A shifting, or a certain weighted quality to the air. A sense of impending something that had the girl moving at a slow limp to stand at the bars of her cell, small hands wrapping around them as she peered out into the dank, dim hall.
She thought maybe she could sense something, but trapped for so long, it was difficult to tell if it was the agents still held around her, or something more. It sparked a flicker of hope, something she had not felt for days, and dared not believe now. Just a trick of her mind, an awful, cruel trick.
All the same, the bruised ballerina didn't move from her spot.
Captive -- Corrupt Super Sailor Chrysocolla - would like to be rescued by Cinnabar or Amphitrite!
Chrysocolla was half-napping, half-thinking -- anything to take her away from this place. (She was so hungry, really; she'd been unchained after she protested she just wanted to sleep, she really did, and she'd been given a little bit of water - but this was inhumane. Sylvite, oh god, Sylvite -- she was here. She'd get out of here. They both would. She was so, so sorry.
Not sorry enough she didn't want to break Celsus' neck under her heel, but the point still stood.)
She wasn't far enough out of it, however, that she didn't hear the crash -- it was distant, muffled through the walls - and deep in the back of her head, she could feel something had changed. Auras slowly blinked into life (they'd been there the entire time, she'd just been unable to feel them) - Super. Lieutenant. General. (General?) Basic. And then the press of Order auras against her mind - moving. What was Chrysocolla to do? She determined, of course, the best course of action: sit up against the entrance to the cell. Stretch her legs. And keep alert, blinking the sleep from her eyes, twisting stray strands of hair around her bare fingers (she'd taken the gloves off as soon as she could - they were saturated with sweat - although all it really did was make her bruised wrists more obvious.)
They'd come for her. They would.

Super Sailor Eurydike - SEEKING ORDER CHARACTERS
Eurydike had been prowling the halls when he felt the shift, and he stiffened abruptly, like a rod had been shoved right up his spine - especially when he realized there were a ******** s**t ton of ******** chaos orders outside. Not that they hadn't known it was going to happen eventually, but -
"Well, <******** me, " he snapped, pacing forward and then back, like he was trying to decide just what to do. Find someone stronger? - not like he could take on an onslaught of ******** generals single-handed anyway, nah, didn't need that. He had to get home to Tolliver when this was all said and done.
He didn't care who the ******** he found, he just knew he needed some kind of ******** back-up here. "Hey!! - the ********' machine's down!" Like they wouldn't be able to feel it. Whatever man he was trying okay.
Marcasite had responded to the call because Xenotime had come for her. Her general had been insistent on keeping her close, especially when her roommates hadn't come home in several days. The new lieutenant didn't mind, she liked the close proximity and being kept in someone else's orbit, and she was certain that she'd follow the smaller woman anywhere.
Help where you're able, avoid stronger auras. Return to me.
All things she kept in mind when she nodded, smiling brightly at her general when she said, "you got it boss!" A pause and then. "Don't worry, I'll come back no matter what," she promised. The smile slid from her lips the minute Xenotime had left her side, blue eyes sweeping across the mess of people who'd responded to the call.
Sucking in a breath, Marcasite curled her hands into fists and stepped forward intent on helping rescue any of their own.
((Marce is available to come aid any of the captives that do not already have a rescuer in mind! She free to be stopped and engaged by any order-aligned as well!))

He'd known officers had gone missing but he hadn't been able to find out anything. He had tried and he figured the snow, and weather, had blown away a note he'd left for Polaris in the hopes she might know, might have a clue, about their missing officers. He had wanted to find them and insure their safety, and return them to where they belonged. He wasn't stupid enough to think so many had left, of their own free will, and joined the other side. No, this was a kidnapping and he didn't like it, not one bit.
When the call from Cinnabar had come in he'd arrived quickly, Katya in his arms. Standing there, at the front line, he listened to the other General with a cold calmness swimming through his veins. He might have ties to some order members, might have agreed not to attack any Polaris knight, but this - this was a step too far on orders side. He would rip anyone who got in his away apart, this was not a time to play nice and build bridges.
Setting Katya on the ground he pet her head once gently. "Keep safe, zap anyone who tries to hurt you, and find help if you find any of our officers." He spoke in clipped words before standing back up and summoning his weapon.
It was when Cinnabar took off for the facility that he took off running after her, his shorter statue keeping him from keeping pace. He made it though and entered behind her and a few others.

Captive- Lieutenant Sylvite: Open for rescue!
She was curled in a corner, half awake, her mouth bone dry, head throbbing, starving, and not like all those times she'd been stuck at the back of the lunch line, but actually, literally starving. She hadn't had information. She wasn't worth taking care of. There had been water a few times, but not enough, and never food, just sleep, on and off, once she'd stopped fighting, and between that bits of panic and worry, daydreams of home, and later the slow realization that it wasn't going to happen, that she was going to die. Chrysocolla, too, which was no fun to think about either... but there was nothing to do here but think...
Then, something shifted and she could feel everything. Order people, everywhere... but the Negaverse, too. More time passed, but it was minutes at the most, and then she could hear their voices in the distance. Were they here to help her? She pulled herself slowly into a sitting position, wanting to stand, but Her vision went blurry for a moment, and her head throbbed, white hot. So, that wasn't happening. She sunk back against the wall and waited, watching and listening.

Arriving in the arms of Benitoite, Katya was more than ready to get inside and find any officers, especially any corrupted senshi, who had been captured. Her little paws kneaded at his sleeve, claws ready to unsheathe themselves and slice up any senshi or knights who might try and harm her.
As Benitoite set her on the ground she nodded, licking and cleaning one of her little paws. "Of course. As if I would let anyone hurt me without returning the favor." She said primly as she stuck her nose up into the air, something Benitoite often did, and she watched as the officers started to run off toward the building - time for her to go too. She didn't want to get caught up in the feet of others, and either get step on or fallen onto when she tripped someone, so she kept at a distance from the other officers as she ran for the building and inside.
Captive - Eternal DMC Mintaka: Being rescued by Aurostibite!
Mintaka was so tired, and her head hung so low that it was hard to tell she was awake or not. She didn't know where she was anymore, and could hear the sound of muffled voices through the cell.
Perhaps it was time for them to end them. She had been waiting for this.
"Au...Aurostibite...." She whimpered.

The newly minted Captain Aquamarine was ******** furious.
Jet had been gone an entire week, with absolutely nothing to show for his whereabouts. No calls, no messages, no sign that he'd even been in his apartment for days, just silence and a bunch of unpaid bills on the counter. Aquamarine had no idea where he was or when he was going to come back, or even if he was going to come back at all. He had absolutely nothing to go on when it came to finding him, just a hunch he based on the knowledge of Jet's utter stupidity.
So when he got the call about the captives, Aquamarine made his way to the location in question, dagger out and ready to cut a b***h if they happened to get in his way. He was entirely aware that he would be out of options if it turned out Jet wasn't here. He would just have to assume Jet's rotting body had been dumped somewhere, because that was the only other explanation as to why he could be missing. It wasn't like Jet would run away. He was too dedicated to the Negaverse for that.
Plus, it's not like Jet had anywhere else to go.
Aquamarine followed the others through the door. He didn't give a s**t about any of the Order signatures around. Really, he didn't give a s**t about anyone else who happened to be there. He was loyal to Jet first and foremost, so the others could continue to rot as far as he was concerned. He had every intention of finding out if Jet was there, grabbing him, and teleporting the ******** out of there without bothering with anyone else.
Thus, when he made it through the door, Aquamarine gave a loud shout. “JET!!”
He didn't care about being quiet. They'd already busted down the door. Any Order people could tell they were here by their auras alone.
Gonna go save Jet.

Valhalla -- Trying to help with the rescue! :<
Valhalla had not meant for things to turn out like this. Yes, he’d lead Cinnabar to the jail after Alexandria had told him of the captive Negaverse officers, but only because it had been his only bargaining chip for his life. Without magic, he stood no chance against her. Had he known he would have run into Cinnabar on his way to get help, he would have immediately tried messaging knights and senshi instead.
Retrospect was always twenty twenty.
He couldn’t feel the auras around him, but he knew there were many Negaverse officers there. It was going to be dangerous, but he’d always had the intention of trying to help them from the moment he found out what was going on. The fact that knights and senshi would do this was deplorable. The fact that he could be partially responsible for a fight breaking out was just as bad. He wish he’d had a chance to get in contact with Ganymede, but his ring was acting up again, and prevented the magic from working.
Staying out of the way of the Negaverse officers’ way was priority, but he quickly went to work on trying to break down some of the jail cell doors to untie captives.
“Benitoite, there’s some more down that way,” he called when he saw the familiar face. He felt a strange sense of relief to see another Negaverse officer he could trust.
Which was even stranger, seeing as Benitoite had once taken his starseed from his chest.
Hopefully the General would realize he had nothing to do with this.
