It was bound to happen eventually.

With rumors of great beasts roaming the shores of Yael, many mainlanders flocked across the sea to capture the exotic beasts. In no time at all, they returned with large scaled monsters, dangerously translucent serpents, and turtles that carried the earth. These traders traveled across the Mainland to parade the beasts, going from Matori to Zena and everywhere between. Soon enough, everyone had either seen the Yaeli beasts or at least heard of them.

And they were sure to hear about the beasts when they escaped.

With such little knowledge of the foreign creatures, the traders underestimated the animals. In no time at all, the Yaeli beasts escaped into the wilderness and ended up near your location. With new creatures all but knocking on your door, what do you do? Do you dare to try and tame them, or do you run them off back into the wilderness? You better hurry, because these creatures are lost and scared, and are sure to cause some damage before they are captured once more....

She had been in the village when she heard of the rumors of escaped strange animals. At first she had ignored it, she was busy or at least she pretended she was too busy to really care about gossip. But the stories were everywhere, and they kept pestering her brain until she finally was forced to leave and head back home. With a sigh she wasn't entirely sure what to expect. Several strange creatures had escaped, though apparantly something called a Keldari had been spotted through out Jahaur and parts of Tale. Giving a huff she only hoped that her son Aysun didn't find it. Like he needed more critters to add to his collection.

Stretching as she moved she didn't think it would be likely that she would run into such a thing. First of all the descriptions had varied quite a bit, the only thing that was consistent was the fact it had no legs. That seemed too surreal to be a real creature and she figured that everyone was too flustered to really get a good look at the thing. Chuckling to herself she moved along a path that would take her home. Tired of people she just wanted to be alone for a bit. Maybe Slow would show up at home, thinking back at the spitorog she wondered where it went when it wasn't sitting in her home staring her in its unsettling derpy gaze.

Walking it took a double take for Keilana to suddenly realize there was a creature...something she had never seen before laying on top of a rock perfectly still. If it wasn't for the fact it was bright blue she may of just walked past it. But...it...she took a couple steps back slowly to get a better look at it. It..didn't have legs, in fact it looked as if it was trying to mimic a rock by how still it was laying there. Its small wedge like head was watching her with one eye. When it realized it had been spotted its strange tail began to rattle.

A warning perhaps? Keilana tilted her head a moment looking at the thing it had to be the Keldari that they had been speaking about back in the village. Her first instinct of course was to destroy it, her hand tightening on the hammer that was resting on her shoulder. But the creature only lay there, its tail rattling weakly as she continued to stare at it. It didn't seem to want to fight her, and she didn't really want to strike out at a creature that she knew little to nothing about.

Breaking eye contact the Keldari gave a flick of its tongue almost like a sigh before it moved off of its perch and slithered away. When it moved perhaps it was out of reflex but her hammer left her shoulder in a mighty heave as it came slamming down to where the creature had been moments ago. Smashing to pieces the rock and the creature no where to be seen. Keilana wondering if she should go find it. She wasn't a beast tamer though and she held little interest in bringing it back home either. Grumbling to herself the woman lifted her gaze to scan the area. Liftning her hammer slowly in case it was still nearby. Something so bright and blue shouldn't be that hard to find...but strangely the creature had vanished from sight. Either it had found a place to hide or it had managed to slip past her while she was searching the tall grass for it.

Chewing on her lower lip she looked over her shoulder and back towards the village she had just left. Should she go warn them? Keilana didn't know enough about the creature. Grumbling she rolled her shoulders as she lifted her hammer back up to her shoulder. Alright alright...she would turn back around and warn them...wait a pain.
