Oba was boring. Sure there were things to do and people to see, but she had done and seen it all. There was nothing that really excited her anymore, that was other then her lessons which weren't frequent enough for her taste. The only other even remotely interesting thing left in Oba was the ice earthling she had saved long ago. Even though she left for the war she came back right away, checking on him when she had free time. She didn't want to annoy him, but she had saved him and worried if he would heal correctly or not. However she knew that soon he would be leaving as well, as he was nearly healed, and then Oba would be boring once again.
The women of the house she had left him had told him of the changes in him, though she had been able to see some of them herself. He wasn't the man she left there, that was for sure.
Walking along the market Eleina looked for Myrsky's face. She had stopped by to check at him but found he wasn't at the house and figured he had to be out somewhere.

Myrsky was out and about trying to find information on his Scorra. Trying to see if she was still held by the inn he'd stayed at so long ago or if someone had bought or stolen her away. It was a bit difficult since he was trying to be discrete and not ruffle feathers while looking but it was taking too long for him and that made his nerves fray even more. He was trying his best to not arrogantly snap out his questions but as the day went on it was getting harder and harder. He sighed and ran a hand through his now loose and straightened hair. he'd been a bit shocked at how different one could look just by putting up or letting down ones hair. Perhaps it would keep him from being discovered.... As he watched he spotted a familiar face; Eleina was out in the same market it appeared Perhaps she can help me once more, he thought and he stood up from his place of rest to approach her.

She was about to give up and go wait for him at the house when she spotted Myrsky heading towards her. She smiled and walked towards him so they could meet in the middle.
"Fine day for a walk huh? To be honest I'm surprised you're still here. You look pretty much healed and it's so boring here in Oba. Surely where you come from has more adventurous."
She talked to him like an old friend, even though they hadn't known each other all that long. That was what happened when you saved someone life, or at least that was how she felt anyway. For all she knew he really couldn't stand to her and was only nice to her because of the favor she did for him.
Looking around she made sure there was no one dangerous in sight. She knew that he could take care of himself, she had heard the stories, but didn't really feel like a fight happening just then. She still wasn't as strong as she wanted and didn't want to embarrass herself in front of Myrsky should they have to defend themselves.

Myrsky looked up in surprise but relaxed slightly when he saw who had approached. "Eleina." He acknowledged her politely as he got over his startlement. "I am.. looking for Dawn. My Scorra. She was left behind when I was captured." he responded. Perhaps Eleina could help? She probably had more freedom here than he did and could search without worry of capture. "Once I find her I will leave.. but I cannot simply abandon Dawn. As for adventures...." his lip twitched slightly into a small wry smile that quickly vanished. "Zena is quiet. I am certain I ca find some.... adventures any place. Oba has certainly been more noisy and active than my home land."

She frowned slightly. His Scorra. She wished he had told her about it earlier, it had been some time since he had originally been captured which only make looking for the Scorra harder. "Have you gone back to where you saw her last? The inn you were staying in?" She was sure he had, he was a smart guy, but it didn't hurt to ask to make sure. If the Scorra had been sold there were a few places she could go and search, or places that would have some sort of records. "And is there anything about her that would stand out?" for all she knew she had seen the Scorra out and about.
She wondered for a second if he would take her with him when he went back to Zena. It wasn't like she had to stay, and she was growing more and more tired of Oba honestly. There was nothing there for her.

a pet dino feel free to see if she knows the inn or not. Its just a common inn. He shook his head; "I do not recall where that inn was located... as for Dawn: she is colored just like a sun rise." He smiled softly. "Pale peace for the most part going to a soft yellow in her tail. She has a pale white rose markings upon her back and about her eyes. As for what a scorra looks like: think of a large bird with long thin legs and a very long tail that reaches past their feet. She's a bit taller than I am." He wasn't sure if Eleina even knew what a scorra looked like! "Scorra are from Sauti so there shouldn't be too many of them here... It should be easy to find her but this is a big city and I am... unused to crowds or having to talk to people to find things." Or talking to people in general to be honest. "I do know that the inn was respectable, had a nice bath house attached to it and was called something Perzi. I came in on the northern part of the city and that should be where it is located." "

"I've seen a Scorra! Though I didn't know that was what they were called." It was nice to have a name for the animal. She had just thought of them as the tall feathered beasts. "Sadly though this one had dark feathers, so it wasn't yours." That would have been just too easy though. The creature he described sounded lovely, which made her worry. The nicer looking the creature the more likely someone would have tried to buy it from the in. Now rather or not the inn was willing to sell it was a whole other story. As he described the inn there were a few that came to her mind, though once he said the name one stood out in particular. "Was it called the Royal Perzi by chance?" She hoped so. It was an inn that was kind to both outsiders and hybrids, so if that was where he stayed they might have a chance at getting his Scorra back, or at the very least finding out what happened to her.

He simply nodded when she said she'd seen one.. but not his. It would be too much to ask wouldn't it? Much as I'd like to simply find Dawn and get out.. I doubt Bergchi will let my path be that easy. He thought to himself. "The pattern is a common one.. most Scorra have it though their colors are very different. There are other patterns that they ahve.. .though I have not seen too mnay of them." Of course he hadn't been looking. If he'd been more observant on his 3 year journey to Oba he probably would have seen many.. but he'd been very occupied with his thoughts.. and frankly he simply had not looked around and enjoyed the journey as he should have. He thought for a moment then shrugged. "I know not if that was its name but it rings a bell. Perhaps it is a good place to start looking? Tis more than I had to start with." He waved a hand to indicate her to lead the way.

She nodded, heading towards the inn. "It isn't all that far from here, so we are lucky in that aspect." They walked a little in silence, Eleina for once not knowing exactly what to say. "Tell me more about Zena and why you are so eager to go back." During their time together she had learned a little about Zena through him, but if he was to leave forever she wanted to know more. "Do you have someone waiting for you there? A family?" She didn't blame him for wanting to leave Oba, the place hadn't been all that kind to him, but there were plenty of other places that he could go and explore. He was strong, she was sure that he could go just about anywhere. Plus there had to be a reason why he left Zena, why go back.

Why was he so eager to go back? "To me Zena is home. It is quiet, serene.. and cold." His lips twisted a bit. He could do without this heat! "I didn't wish to leave in the first place. Obalen insisted though... so off I went." To be fair she had a good reason to do so! And he had learned more out here than he would have if he'd never left. Leaving had let him see others as something other than annoyances (though many still did annoy him) and he felt a bit more mature and wise. Experiences were good... he was just tired of it all and wanted some peace and quiet! Hide in the muffled sounds of a snow covered mountain... To hear the wind whistle through the valleys, the silence of the mountains, the far off cries of the animals... He sighed and shook his head. Best he not focus too much on that! He'd just get more homesick! "As for family.. just Obalen." He did not count the man who fathered him as family.. though maybe he should make an effort to at least talk to him.. maybe he did regret casting his wife and son out?

She smiled at his response. Yes she imagined that it the temperature change from Zena to Oba would be pretty big. From what she had heard of Zena it was a frozen tundra where Oba was a desert filled with heat and sand. It must have been a shock for him the first time that he got there. "Obalen is your mentor right?" The name seemed familiar and she was pretty sure that she had heard him say it before, but she could just feel it familiar due to the similarities the name had with her homeland. Ah to only have one family member. She wished on more then one occasion that she only had her mother and father around. Although she did love her father's family her mothers family was just a pain. "Do you think that you learned all that Obalen wanted you to learn? When you were sent off?"

a pet dino finding my muses again! Sorry for the wait "Obalen is both my mentor and ... well.. my mother figure I guess? She took me and my mother in when I was but a child... and I don't recall my mother very well as she died soon after. Even though Obalen should be more a gradmother than mother." He chuckled softly. He did miss her.. all the complaints and old grumpy lady growls and everything. "She told me to go explore the world and bit and not come back till I had lived a little." He sighed in exasperation. "I have seen much of the world though I did not venture too far east into Tale or the jungles beyond. As for living a little... I guess? I grew up that's for sure." He muttered the last bit to himself wryly. "What of you? I know practically nothing for all that you have made an effort to talk to me."

She smiled as he spoke about Obalen. It was clear that he cared about the woman, which made her happy for him as he would be seeing her again. She couldn't imagine being away from her mother for a long period of time. She wanted to do it sure, but she really couldn't imagine what it would feel like. Would she miss her so much that she would come back home, or would she be able to enjoy herself while missing her mother? Time would tell, hopefully. When he asked about her she shrugged. "Not much to tell really. I'm a mixed blood who wants to become a strong Shaman, maybe even the strongest. While I'm happy being here and in Matori I do want to see the world. Maybe your Obalen was right to send you out into the world. It's something I'd like to do one day." With the inn in sight she motioned her head towards it. "Look familiar?"

His golden eyes flickered over the inn. "It is indeed. As for traveling... it has been enlightening if nothing else. I prefer my snowy mountains though. I'd suggest going with a companion though. While I prefer to travel alone there have been times when bandits attacked and if not for other travelers I might not have made it." He would have to go back and thank Guyrui and his group. As he approached the inn he heard a loud familiar call. Dawn! A small smile flickered across his face as he hurried his steps to go around the side and see his beautiful scorra practically breaking down the stable door to try and get out. "Easy girl..." He muttered as he approached to calm her down.
