xxxBackstory: When she was young and scared she ran away from home in a frozen winter land of New York's white streets. Her father had drank too much and had making moves on his own daughter, out of anger, she took a knife to his neck and ran far as she could. Without any kind of warmth, she fell in the snow and tried her best to wipe the blood into the numbing snow. She ran from the scene and tried to look for a place that was open and warm. There was only a bar open so late open so late, and when she asked to come in, the bouncer of course declined, but a woman at the door, the owner, told the man to let her in. A nice woman who smelled too homey, Angelica of course, went with her. The woman brought the girl up to the rooms above the bar. When the door closed, Angelica would not be leaving human. She told the woman her story, told her that she couldn't go back, she was a murderer. She would go to jail, she told the girl full truths, but the girl told the woman to let her stay here with her. Clinging, begging, the woman hugged the young girl close. "If you promise to be with me, forever, I will protect you." Yes, yes, of course, the girl replied crying now. The woman reminded her of a mother, but as her fangs painfully clamped down into her neck, her other hand muffling her mouth, she lost drip by drip of blood. The change was complete when the woman swallowed the last gulp and took her own fangs to her wrist. She shared her blood with Angelica with a kiss, the girl dead on the bed only able to swallow with her last drawing breath.
When she woke up, she was new, powerful, but so timid to every sound. New York was too loud for her fresh ears, but Vanessa was there to comfort her, teach her. For fifty years she stayed under this woman's hands, but when she had grown into a coven of dangerous people, Angelica soon began to realize, she was growing an army. Not wanting any part of it, she made the decision to leave. Somewhere safe. She had a friend who could make her a whole new identity just like he had done in the past. A vampire himself, he of course complied thinking it was for Vanessa and on her payroll. She then enrolled herself in Harvelle Acadamy for young girls. A boarding school, it was perfect hiding spot.

xxxBackstory: Frankie was born a happy, healthy little girl to a wealthy Virginia family. She had everything she could've ever wished for. Toys, loving parents, and otherwise wonderful company. An only child, the girl often found herself confined to her room in her studies. It wasn't because she didn't get along with other people, but that she never felt like she fit in. Her guardians were open with her about everything. They wanted to know what she was feeling, how they could make her life better. Not wanting to be a bother, and being kind girl she was, nothing was ever said. All her wishes were put in front of her, but she rejected them in favor for other people's happiness.
This endless cycle put her in a state of constant gloom for most of her life. She hid it behind smiles and giggles, which she truly felt. Fran liked being around others. There was nothing more she wanted than to make people smile and feel better about themselves. In a way, much of this kindness was taken advantage of, as no one truly opened up to her, wishing to hear about her demons. So when the sun hid behind the horizon and everything went quiet, she'd sit and think about what was wrong with her. Why she couldn't be happy with herself. Her parents, thinking for the longest time that their daughter needed better, stronger relationships, decided to send her off to boarding school on her 17th birthday. They sensed she wasn't comfortable in her heart of hearts, and hoped this new place would harbor experiences to change her for the better.
