Lián had been awoken as guardian only for a short time... but in that time many things had happened. She had witnessed some stranger from appear and convince the soldiers of order to collect energy, which made her fur stand on end... The whole situation had creeped her out.. and then only a short while after she had met a precious sweet young man who had seemed for a lack of better terms, broken.
Her heart ached for him and she wanted nothing more to help, but she could do little other then offer cuddles and purrs. He dnt seem like some advocate for the dark side. And it made the feline wonder where the line between good and evil was drawn. Someone whom appealed to order, claiming to be an ally made her want to hiss and spit, yet an agent of the Negaverse made her want to protect and care. It was all very confusing, and she imagined it would only continue to get more so as time went on.
So she strolled, curious what strange new sight she would witness tonight, pausing to perch the low stone wall of a restaurants box gardens, most of the blossoms furled up tight against the cold night air. It was late enough that there were few people on the street, nearly none, which was discouraging because the few who did happen to wonder by didn't even acknowledge her. She didn't get a single "pretty kitty" or pat. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.
She didn't like to admit it, but she did occasionally like the undivided attention that some humans would give.

The young pale haired woman was one of the few people milling around on the streets despite the sky growing darker and the cold threatening to settle into the lining of her bones. She was thankful that her uniform had long sleeves and layers -- though she was certain she'd hate it in the warmer months -- because it guarded her against the bitter chill.
Her hat sat askew, threatening to fall off her head from time to time as she practically bounced through the street. Energy vibrated through her entire being, power coursed through her veins and in truth, she was excited to experience everything her gift could give her.
Marcasite was most definitely a cat person and a dog person, well she was just an animal person but she had an affinity for cats. They were always softer and fluffier than dogs, less inclined to lick her face. So, when she spotted the wandering cat a squeal immediately escaped her.
"Here kitty, kitty."
