"W-wow, just... Just look at that view!"
Pushing his limits hadn't entered the chibi's mind until jumping from rooftop tp rooftop had lost its charm. Well, that, and the fact that he could only take so many face-plants before he felt to do something else besides, well, face-planting. So Cadmus decided to take on another challenge: Climbing to the highest points he could see across the city.
It started out simple at first—jumping up to chimneys and ledges that offered little footing on buildings. The it escalated to other parts; window ledges, the towers of bridges, and even a skyscraper. However, none the places he explored offered a great view. Not until the bell tower. Down the street from the boy's home, there was an old church the pink-haired chibi wouldn't have given a second glance if he happened to gaze passed it on a road trip. However, now, it became his new destination for the night, and as he breeched the opening where the church bells tolled and stepped inside, he could see the wide expanse of the city in the midst of sunset. The smile he wore glistened in the setting sun.
"Man, maybe this city doesn't suck that much after all..." the boy reasoned then. "If it has views like this, it might be good. Not great, but good."

Mimosa, like Cadmus, had been trying to test her abilities as a new found power surged within her. Like video games, she felt leveled up, but also understood that she would need to practice with such skills before she mastered them.
Also she was interested to know why her veil was like so and how come she was dressed like so and what other things her uniform was hiding. As she passed by the church, walking now that she was tired from climbing, she almost missed the bright pink hair at the top.
But she could feel...'something' and hopped up to it, peeking her head around the church bell.
"I..I don't think the city is bad." She added to his comments. "Hello!"

Cadmus had a penchant for letting out a scream whenever he was in the company of himself and not expecting another body to approach him. He tended to forget that there were other power signatures he could literally feel, but due to his inattentiveness, never registered them until it was too late. He whipped around when Mimosa added to his statements and nearly let out a yelp.
Nearly, but he managed to bite his bottom lip hard enough to repress the scream. Quickly, he segued the pain of it into a smile, and dipped his head in greeting at the girl—another chibi just like him.
"Ahh, to-may-to, to-mah-to," Cadmus said, flipflopping his hand with each emphasis. "Destiny City hasn't really gotten on my good side since I've moved here, but nice to meet you all the same. I'm Cadmus, who're you?"

"I didn't mean to startle you...." Mimosa came a bit forward, but still managing to stick to the bell a bit shyly. "Did you just move here...or something?" She played with her uniformed dress, still studying him.
He was very pink and red and she wondered if knew it. A....And she wondered what sort of powers he had, and how long he was a super hero and...
SHE WONDERED ALL THE THINGS.
Instead she just stared a bit.

Cadmus shook his head. "Oh, you didn't startle me." Much. "And I did, about a month or so ago. My 'rents just upped and moved out here with my brother and me when the farm... we were on... fell... through..."
The chibi hadn't meant to trail off into an sudden silence but the other girl's staring just made him awkward. He tried to hold her stare for a bit before he broke it and cast it down to his uniform.
"..."
Was there... something wrong with him?
Something in his teeth?
Did he look weird?
"..."
Was it the tassels?
It had to be the tassels.
His lips parted and a single croak came through.
"Uh."

"Oh...Welcome to Destiny City then! I'm sorry it hasn't been too good...but..but I can show you some places?" She didn't want him to dislike the city.
"Did you have many animals? I'm sorry." She gnawed on her lip a little..."We....we're you a senshi before you came here?...."
And then she scooted closer.
"Do you like it?"

Gurk! K-kinda... Kinda close there...!
"Ahhh, s-sure? I mean, yea, sure, you could totally show me around! I'd like that!" He tried to follow it up with an embarrassed smile and scratched the back of his head. "And... it wasn't that type of farm, ahaha. It was a cranberry farm, so a lot of bogs with floating berries and stuff. Ironically, it, um, it's also what my powers are based off of, haha... ha. And..."
He took a step back as carefully as possible lest he take a fall a la Hitchcock's Vertigo. "I wasn't... A-actually, it's the opposite. Ever since coming to this city is when I discovered I had these powers. Pretty wild, huh?" Cadmus averted eyes to the hills beyond the city. "Coming here was like opening a can of worms."

Only a little bit closer! He seemed to move carefully away and that made her even MORE CURIOUS.
"Oh! Cranberries are quite delicious, I like when my mom makes them in a sauce. But that only happens during the holidays." She blinked..."Oh you're powers are...Cranberries?" She ran a hand over her hair and resting on the flower and veil before dropping.
"That is a interesting power, I wonder what its like." She hummed as she finally came to a stop in front of him. "I'm Mimosa." She stuck out her hand. "It's nice to meet you?"

Cadmus shriveled up his nose. "They're okay," he said, quickly adding, "cranberries and my powers, I mean. I literally just shoot berries out of my hands, that's all, aha."
The chibi stared at his hand momentarily before taking note of Mimosa's. Clasping it with hers, he gave it a firm shake. "Well, nice to meet you too. Always good to know there are other chibis out there," he said with a smile.

Ahhhhh, Mimosa was so excited. He shook her hand.
THEY WERE FRIENDS NOW RIGHT.
"That's better then some things! I can think of worst powers like..poop or something." /MATURITY.
She let go of his hand and then stepped back. "Did you want to look around?" She pointed her finger. "There is really fun shops there..."

Cadmus repressed his desire to chuckle. Oh how he felt sorry at the expense of a senshi who had power over poop.
"That's... very, very, true," the boy said. His red eyes followed the direction of her finger and he nodded his head twice. "Sure, I'd love to check 'em out."

"Do you mind if I hold your hand?" This time she actually asked. "I don't wanna lose you or anything...Because I seem to lose people in the area a lot, but not usually! just sometimes."

Cadmus stared at his own hand and then her own. Then, shaking his head, he clasped hers gently. "I don't mind at all," he said with a smile. "A-and I don't consider you a stranger! I mean, not anymore. You're a friend. At least, I think you are." He nodded to affirm this part.

Mimosa took his hand and squeezed gently. She did her best not to make weird sounds as they traversed the buildings to check out the shops and explore.
Overall, she would say she had a successful night and made a new friend and maybe that was a really good thing! She'd just have to come back out and see Cadmus or meet new people again! Luckily too, once they were done exploring,
she was able to return home tuckered out and slept so soundly. Unohime A year later /sobs a wrap/ so sorry about that QQ
