ok here what it does"Whenever a creature attacks you, its controller loses 1 life"
heres how the match went i had 8 life while the other person had 3. i had 2 hissing miasma out and thats it. he attacks me with two 2/2 creaters and two
3/3 creaters. so didnt i win? i figerd the max that person did to me would be 6 before i won right? they said i lost.

You should have won. Hissing Miasma triggers when they attack, then they lose the life. So, after they declare the 3 attackers, they lose 8 life and are dead before you even have to choose blockers.

Bravo for you and knowing your stuff, but just for shits and giggles, I'm gonna back what you said 500% cause that's exactly correct. Just a little confirmation if you were still curious!

Hissing is not worth playing.
Not even with bleed.
Not even if you have a combo to make them attack.
But for multi-casual its so fun.
No one kills me!

Sometimes it wins. the Arena on the other hand costs exactly the same AND ALWAYS draws me cards until i die.

What I mean is that it's just a perfectly balanced card, which means it could be considered weak to some people.

Great card. Especially against saprolings. Once played against myself (Yes, I do that sometimes to test decks against each other!), and my selesnyan half got out about fifty saprolings and 1 life, while my orzhovian half had a hissing miasma. I kept playing, just for fun (I had some Blind Hunters and Mourning Thrulls out), and then my selesnyan half played chant of Vitu-Ghazi and the "convoke-naturalize."(cant remember the name...)
The hissing miasma is a really great card (got four in my orzhov bleeder deck), but you have to be aggresive to use it properly. Or else, you won't be gaining the fear-like effect.

I had a really fun idea for a Hissing Miasma deck, awhile back. It was more for casual play than Standard, but it likely would've ended up being standard.
Anyways, it revolved around the Hissing Miasma (of course), and War's Toll. Then, I'd use any Red / Black cards that could force one attack, to make all opposing creatures attack. Nettling Curse was definitely a fun one, since it added bonus life loss for the attack, plus Miasma life loss. I still haven't gotten around to making it, but you can be sure I'll get something going. Perhaps I'll even splash some white into it, to enable stuff like Holy Day and Ethereal Haze.
But like it was said, you can't make a really great Standard deck focusing on Hissing Miasma, especially when some decks don't even need to attack to win. Plus, unless you've got blockers or a great life advantage, the damage their creature does will probably outweigh the life loss (unless you've got a few Miasmas out).
