Hyperborea felt drawn to her wonder. After the initial excitement of attaining her knighthood and transcendence wore off Hyperborea was left with doubts. Was she really worthy of this honor, did she truly deserve to be called a knight of equal rank to Babylon or Hvergelmir. Feeling like she could make a wonder trip now she decided she would go and ask the source of her power directly. Her code piece.

So she left her dorm that evening and found a secluded spot to give the oath. "I pledge my life and loyalty to Cosmos, and to Hyperborea. I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine." She tried to will herself to appear where she had last time she went to her wonder, right outside the chamber that contained her code piece.

Sure enough she appeared in the newly lit hallway at the bottom of her labyrinth. She made her way into the brightly lit chamber and was greeted with the sight of her code piece. A pulsating orb of energy, about the size of a baseball, hovered just within a large, floating rainbow colored crystal. It seemed to have a presence—like it was more than just a light. While it did not share the same mist-like appearance as the Code Piece on Olympus, there was no denying that this orb of light was one in the same. Although smaller, it still seemed powerful.

She approached the crystal, "Code, if you can hear me, please tell me. Have I been fulfilling my duty as a knight of Hyperborea?" She politely beseeched the pulsating orb.

"Do you feel like you have?" the Code asked; it flickered in the crystal, sending a glistening myriad of light splattering across the room. It gave her a moment to consider her answer, but it did not wait for her to speak. "Truthfully, the answer is, no. You have been failing quite spectacularly. I am surprised that your wonder hasn't collapsed in on itself, but it is in a slightly better state than many of the other wonders. Still…Cosmos must be disappointed to see her great empire crumble so spectacularly. I'm surprised she hasn't yet waged war upon her 'Knights'."

She was taken aback by the answer. It was an answer she had thought herself but to actually hear from the code hurt. The code wouldn't lie and it was all knowing so it couldn't be wrong, could it. She was shaking, did her princess really feel that way about her. She had never met the woman, so she had no way of knowing what she was like. What if the code was right, what if she felt like Hyperborea was a failure as her knight. Hyperborea couldn't handle it if her own princess hated her; she felt tears threatening to break free. "Thank you for answering." She said to the code before quickly retreating out of the room. She didn't know if the code piece could actually see or not but if it could she didn't want it to see her break down. Once she was out in the hallway she collapsed against a wall into sobs, she was glad Theseus wasn't there right now. She had been right, she didn't deserve her title, she didn't deserve to be a knight of Cosmos.

She stayed there crying in silence for a while before finally deciding to go back to Earth. She felt crushed and worn out from crying, more than anything she just wanted to go to sleep now.
