She had been doing well, at least in her mind she was. She had Amadahy and Amitola to keep her company, along with Amadahy's familiar Aura. But that wasn't all of the time. Just when the pair met up which was every so often since the two of them had their own things going on. It's not like they stuck together like pine sap. She was still good friends with the flutter but you need variety every now and again. Overall this winter wasn't going all to bad and this pleased her. Still, something egged at her mind that she was missing something and she hoped one day to remember what it was or is. There was just something about this time of year that made a yearning in her heart and she just couldn't put a hoof on it.
As the months had dragged on she became more and more in tune with herself, or rather her new self. She was aware there were things she was missing and she was finally made aware that she had some form of memory loss. Amadahy made the connection one day and had told her that they had been foal hood friends. However, it wasn't something she had remembered. How could she not remember someone that she had known for quite some time as a foal? This bothered her a great deal and she wished now that she knew how she came about losing her memory since this wasn't something she wanted happening to her ever again. Maybe if the same occurrence happened it would reverse it? Though that just seemed rather silly.
It made her curious to know what else she could possibly be missing. Obviously she had a family, but what kind of a family? Those questions haunted her mind and she tried to just let it go but every now and again they all came back and she was left questioning everything. Did she have siblings? If so how many? There were so many questions that rang through her mind that it made her finally shake her head and clear her mind of all thoughts of things she did not remember. She was sure one day everything would be made clear to her, but for now things were just one big haze and she was certain in time it would lift. If it didn't, well. Then that would be a matter for a different time.
She gave a small sigh as she walked through the snow encrusted earth, the sound of the snow crunching and cracking beneath her hooves comforted her a little bit. Ears twisted slightly as she thought the caught the sounds of another not to far away. Her long pastel locks blew across her face gently with the light breeze and she figured she'd head in the direction of the sound. She was getting rather lonely on this chilly afternoon and could use a bit of company. She just hoped whomever it was she potentially was seeing was friendly.
