Distractions were easy. Cavansite had been doing a damn good job at distracting herself from everything, from the thoughts that had been branded into her mind. Teide and her…traitorous ways.

The lieutenant was sitting on a bench, and with a quick glance to the left and right, she sighed and withdrew the dark blue bow that the knight had given her, looking at it with some confusion in her eyes. She hadn’t evne known it was possible to get out…but why would anyone want to just up and leave? That was stupid.

The Negaverse was fun, it was free, it was no rules and do what you want and…

And why did this damn ribbon make her stomach clench so terribly…? It was just a piece of fabric, just a stupid piece of fabric. A piece of fabric from a traitor, none the less.

She was so preoccupied by the thoughts running through her head, she didn’t even have time to notice that there was a powerful member of the Negaverse coming near. It didn’t matter, there was nothing bad that someone from her side would do to her. She wasn’t a traitor.

It wasn't Cinnabar's style to hover over the lower ranks. It seemed like a waste of time and a good way to stifle them, to the point it could drive them to seeking a way to escape. That, and her time was valuable. She had better things to do than check up on all the little people to make sure they were doing what they were supposed to do.

Even her own lieutenant, she gave a measure of trust and didn't hang over his shoulder, demanding reports.

Feeling a lieutenant's signature nearby as she finished her rounds, though, drew her attention enough that, out of curiosity, she'd detoured to swing closer to where it originated. She justified it as simply making sure they didn't need some sort of assistance, that everything was on the up-and-up. There was no harm in that and it wouldn't take more than a moment. Piece of mind, on her way home.

Landing on the roof across the street, Cinnabar strode towards the edge and glanced down, her hands tucked into her coat's pockets. Below was the Lieutenant she'd felt and on the surface, it appeared to be fine... except the young woman was sitting, seemingly deep in thought... right out in the open. While powered.

The General frowned, her brows drawn together. It wasn't safe to be unaware when powered up. With your power signature shining for all to see, it could draw the wrong kind of attention, and for first rank? There were a lot of enemies that power could bring that they'd have a hard time dealing with. Maybe, whomever her superior was, hadn't instilled the serious of her situation. Or, maybe something had happened to put her off her game. Either way, it was perhaps a good idea to deliver a reminder.

Taking a step, Cinnabar jumped from the roof and landed lightly on the street below, slowly approaching the bench the girl occupied.

"Taking a break?" She called as she approached, hands in her pockets once more and her stride relaxed.

She didn’t feel the energy signature until she heard the question, and it took a half second for her mind to catch up to her ears, and she had hoped for a moment that it was going to be Painitie walking up to her, but alas…it wasn’t. It was some other…general…? Or was it a youma? Either way, she was one fine looking woman. Cavansite just stared at her for a moment, mouth dropping just slightly, all thoughts of traitors forgotten.

“I um. What?” She closed her mouth and finally the words that issued from Cinnabar’s mouth had made their way up to Cavansite’s brain. “Oh, no. Not taking a break. Just thinking.”

She held up the bow. “I hadn’t realized that people could leave the Negaverse. I met a traitor a few nights ago. I took this from her, and after I was done talking to her, I ripped the starseed right from another cosmos knight, so. It wasn’t a bad night…I just didn’t realize that people could turn traitor. I didn’t realize they could leave the Negaverse.”

The lieutenant crushed bow in her hand and scoffed. “It makes me sick.”

The stare wasn't anything new, really. A common response to the sight of her, which Cin understood. Its not like there wasn't a lot of things to stare about... the horns and the scales certainly topped the list, but the girl didn't seem frightened, which was good. Well, maybe good. If Cin planned on impressing any lesson on her, a little fear might have been useful...

Coming to stand by the bench, the General regarded the lieutenant silently as she spoke, noting her oddly colored hair and, yes, the bow she held. As soon as she offered it up, her eyes trained on it, a frown drawing her brows together. This thread was going nowhere good... but there was some comfort to see that it seemed to disgust the other officer more than it intrigued her.

"Its not something most care to talk about, but it happens more than you would think." She said slowly, deciding how to go about this the right way. "Purification is a thorn in our side, like a slow bleeding wound we can't staunch. They slip away one by one... the undisciplined, the lazy, the cowards. The ones who don't have the stomach or the drive to be real Negaverse officers."

She smirked a little, her tail flicking behind her once.

"They don't get far though, not any more. We hunt them down and teach them the error of their ways. You should make a report on that girl you saw. It could help in our hunt for her. It might even lead to us catching her and bringing her back." Reaching out, she hooked a finger in the loop of the bow, rubbing finger and thumb across the fine material in consideration.

"What is your name, Lieutenant?"

Cavansite blinked, listening and nodding slowly. “Make a report on her? How do I do that? I would love to have her dragged back to our side. She was so…annoyingly superior and thought she was such hot stuff. She was so damn convinced that I was some little lost lamb that was just begging for redemption…” A slow smile spread across her face and she laughed, eyes moving up to look at Cinnabar.

“I’m Cavansite. Lieutenant Cavansite. It’s very nice to meet you, General. Ah,” She paused and then shook her head. “You’re half youma, I take it? I’m glad to see that you’re still committed to the Negaverse…I’ve found one of our ranks, a half youma General like yourself who claims to be on the side of the White Moon. I’d like to put in a report on him as well, if you don’t mind.”

Her mind was racing slightly, thinking about purification, and without any real reason, a sigh escaped her lips. “I just don’t understand where they’re coming from. We’re the right side of this. We’re the ones that have the power, we’re the winning side. Even if they don’t agree with our ideals…why on earth would anyone want to join the losing team?”

Cinnabar cocked a brow, but didn't comment on the lieutenant's superiors not making sure she had all the info she needed. The senshi database should have been one of the subjects covered, but not everyone was her, she guessed.

"There is a bank of computers in the Citadel for inputting information about our enemies into a database. Inform your captain you need to make a report and they should take you there, next time you turn in energy for quota." She said as she watched the lieutenant smile at the thought of the knight she had met, captured. It was good, that she seemed to find this purification abhorrent. Hopefully, that would mean less likely to do it herself.

What she said next, though, that drew Cinnabar's attention, and with it, a frown. The girl had more questions, but a half youma on the side of the white moon? She didn't entirely understand how that was even possible. The General waved a hand to cut off the chatter.

"Their reasons are no doubt misguided... or cowardly. Go back to this half youma you saw. Tell me about him. What is his name? Where is he living? Were there other agents with him?" She said as her gaze focused in on the young woman, intense and pointed.

“Oh.” She hadn’t known that, hadn’t been to any…Citadel…and idly she wondered how many other things she didn’t yet know. And what did Cinnabar mean inform her captain? Was she supposed to have a captain? What did that even mean?

Cavansite kept her questions to herself however and thought about the half youma. “Well. He called himself Dennis, but the senshi that he was protecting called him Merlinite, so I don’t know which name you wanted. He was a dragon looking thing, I don’t know where he’s living, he didn’t give that information, and no. The only agent that was there was me. I was tormenting a bitchy little Halloween looking senshi, and he came out of nowhere and tackled me to the ground.”

She took a good look at the General before her and shrugged. “He looked more…beastly than you do. And kind of ugly. Like, you look like you were made to be this attractive beastly woman, he looked like a failed science experiment.”

Dennis... Her lip curled. He must be clinging to his past life, to be giving out his civilian name to Negaverse agents.

Merlinite. That name she filed away. She was going to need to do a little checking up on this General, because what he was doing could not be allowed to continue. She had made it her personal duty to find traitors and bring them to justice... there was no way she could just let this pass.

The comment about his looks drew her back out of her thoughts and Cin's brows rose, a little smirk on her face. Her fingers smoothed over the front of her coat and tugged it straight, unable to help just a little preening.

"Every half youma is different... It depends heavily on what youma they are merged with, and how. His resistance to it, to being a proper agent, probably meant he didn't bond well with his youma and thus, ended up more twisted than I did. I embrace what I am and my duty to Metallia." She said as she dropped her hands to put them in her pockets again, her face turning pensive.

"If you remember more about him, contact me with it. And anything else you think relevant, really. Or if you have more questions." Cin directed her attention back to the lieutenant, giving her another look over. "I would prefer that you came to me if you need something, rather than flounder around on your own. We are both agents and that means we are a team. I would help you if I can."

She was absolutely intrigued, but felt that perhaps this wasn’t the time to ask a slew of questions about half youma…even though she wanted to know more. Maybe she would do her own bit of digging and see what she could find. If there was a way to really get as strong as this woman was. As Cinnabar was…well. Sign her up at once. Hell yeah.

So long as she didn’t turn into some freak dragon man like that Merlinite…she wouldn’t mind having some claws and fangs…it would be terribly sexy, honestly.

“I’ll let you know if I remember anything more. You do seem to know an awful lot about everything, and I would like to perhaps see you again sometime? This has been a wonderful opportunity for me, and I thank you for your time.” Of course, Cavansite had felt a little foolish, not knowing a good portion of what the General had talked about, but…perhaps she just hadn’t gotten out enough? Perhaps she just wasn’t as great as she thought she was. Perhaps it was really time to stop playing and buckle down.

The general relaxed and smiled at the lieutenant's appreciation. She seemed to have a decent head on her shoulders, compared to others she had experience with. Especially if she didn't had anyone guiding her through this.

"I know a lot because I went out and learned it. There is a lot of information out there for the taking... though it should have been the job of your superior officer to fill you in on the basics." Her grin widened and she shifted her weight, hip cocked in a deceptively lazy stance.

"You can call me any time you need anything, information or otherwise. You sound like you need someone and I would be a poor General if I didn't make an effort to fix that. I also have combat training, if you need that. I've done some training for lieutenants and captains before, and just been a sparring partner." She spread her arms, her tail flicking. "So I'm at your disposal, any time. And I may come to you again, if I have more questions about that half youma you found, so... I'm sure we'll see each other again soon."

"Be careful on your way home, Cavansite... and keep your whits about you, if you're going to keep sitting here. Don't let someone sneak up on you..." Cin said as she turned to go, pausing a moment to deliver her warning.

Cavansite stood and nodded. “All right, and thank you, General. I’ll keep everything you’ve said in mind, and if you need me, I’ll come to speak to you, anytime.”

Cinnabar had been right. She was leaving herself open to attack, and there were plenty out there who would use that to their advantage…so she should always keep her wits about her. This beastly woman had a lot of wisdom, and she would have been a fool not to take it. “I’ll see you again, have a wonderful evening. Happy hunting.”

With a small wave, Cavansite made her way home, though full of even more thought and things she had to think about. There was so much she didn’t yet know…and it was time for her to learn.
