Livius was back.
His muscles ached slightly, but he felt better than ever. Since the beatdown he'd experience at the paws of Tordenskall, he had started training. Finding whatever decent-sized rogue males he could and provoking them, slowly gathering up the strength and tact to garner a halfway acceptable winning streak. His wounds had healed, and he was ready to try again. After all, he promised he'd be back.
In the back of his mind, Livius had the mild yearning to face Tordenskall again, regardless of the unlikelihood of happening upon the male once again. Then again, it would be even more entertaining to see the look on his face when he looked upon Livius as a member of his own pride. After the demeaning way the yellow male had smiled at him after his last challenge, it would be a welcome sight for sure. And so, Livius prowled the boarder, feeling more confident than ever that by sundown, he would have a place to call home.
