Arms reached up and stretched out as Huyana walked. He had made the trip to Sauti's farthest border and back in little under five days. He was tired from the walk to say the least. He thought about just trucking it all the way home and passing out for a week or so, but his legs burned from the effort. It was that muscle pain that made up his mind for him. Just outside a small village he slowed his pace to a stop and found a place under a tree to sit down and rest. By his estimation it would take him another day to reach his own home. If he walked without taking a break. Sadly he didn't think he had it in him to do that.
"Ah, my calves burn." Huy said to himself. Leaning forward he'd bring his hands to the offending area and rub. If he would just massage the stiffness out of his muscles then maybe he could keep up the fast pace that he'd set for himself.
Looking in the direction of the village he debated within his mind. Should he make that last little stretch to their market, if they had one, or just stay where he was? "Heh, I'm not sure I want to get up now..." It felt good to be off his feet. He really should invest in a Mammu. Those big creatures could carry him anywhere. Huy leaned his head back against the tree trunk as he continued to try and ease the tension from his legs.

Lixue had been out on the mountain just out side of her town looking for things. She had found a nice area with pretty rocks in the deeper ice and even some neat bones. But she was wanting to find something perfect, something new and amazing. She wanted to find a hidden city from the old days. Maybe something legendary that no ones seen since before everything changed. It would be amazing! She could bring pride to her father who was the laughing stock of their old village and everyone called crazy.
She pulled her braid over one shoulder and pulled her furry vest hood up better around her head. "This new rock though. Im so glad i dropped it and it broke open!" she said to her self as she walked along the trail towards home. Her purple bangs getting about in her face with the light wind as she looked at the two halves of the rounish rock in her hands. The inside was swirling purple and blue stone with crystals in the middle. She was sure she could get a lot for it selling it in town maybe! She would have plenty of food for weeks with this since her mom wasn't likely to be back for weeks still.
As she walked along she talked lists to her self about what she needed fixed or to buy for her self as she headed towards home. She tripped over a rock and stumbled, righting her self so she didn't fall on her face but one half of the rock flew from her hands and rolled to the feet of a male she did not know. "Oh gosh I'm so sorry! That's my rock please can i have it back!" She said as she hurried over to grab the rock, hoping he wouldn't want to take it from her.Heras Box No worries hun i know how it goes biggrin ! no rush.

He was sitting there and minding his own business when he noticed out the corner of his eye that someone was approaching. Turning his head, Huyana looked on at a rather attractive looking female. He liked her style too. When she tripped he half moved thinking that he would need to get up and help her but she righted herself. A smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Then he noticed that a rock of hers had landed at his feet.
Just as she expressed her apology and went for the rock he did too, only he got there first. Huyana picked up the seemingly ordinary thing and turned it in his hand. What he was was anything but ordinary and he gave a low whistle. "That's quite the rock." The young man turned it in his hand and stared at the colors for a moment then lifted his gaze to Lixue. "And you are quite the beauty." Tired or not, he could still flirt. And this young lady certainly warranted some flattery and attention.

Li froze inches from the rock as the male picked it up and looked at it. Damn hes going to want to keep it! How am i going to get it back! I'll have to follow him or bribe him or something! she thought to her self as she cursed inwardly and looked up at him, her left hand still reaching for the half of rock that belonged to her. "Yeah it is and its my beautiful...I mean my rock...did you just say beautiful? Why...me? No. You got the wrong girl. I'm...I'm just me. I'm just Lixue. Nothing beautiful here..." She said blushing softly at the very idea. She giggled nervously as she tried to calm back down.
Glancing at him she could see that he was very handsome...why would he call her beautiful? She didn't get much compliments from the people in the village cause they all kind of stayed away from her with how crazy they thought her mom was thinking she could prey her husband back to living. Li put the other half of the rock into her bag and nervously played with the long end of her braid. "Can...i have my rock back? Please." she said with a soft now nervous smile cause she wasn't sure what to do with someone flirting with her...this was all new area for her to think about.

When the girl started to stumble over her words he smirked at her and brought his empty hand up so that he could rest his chin on it. "Hmmn?" Huyana gave her entire form a once over, a very slow once over, then brought his gaze back to hers. "Lixue." He tested her name on his tongue and found that, like her, it was rather beautiful. He approved.
The young man took special note of the blush in her cheeks and grinned. "Oh? For a price." Huy knew the rock was hers and he didn't truly intend to take anything of material value for it. Instead he had another idea as payment. Of course that would mean that Lixue would need to take the bait and ask what his price was. He did so enjoy a game. "Though, if you are unwilling to pay... I might just keep it." This time as he spoke he moved the hand that held the rock and slipped the precious stone into his shirt. He had no actual pockets on it so it would have to rest against his skin. Cold rock, warm skin, it elicited a shiver from him.

Lixue frowned and wiggled, her body flailing as she danced in place, rather cutely, frustrated over the male wanting some payment for the rock that was hers. "I...*Huff* I suppose i can pay you. I need to sell the rock first to get anything. What do you need? I...I cant do much I live alone I need most of what i get for food and fixing supplies." she said with a frown as she looked at him and played with the end of her braid again.
She hoped he wouldn't want too much for the rock back...she didn't want to have to hold off on new rope and shoes and the food she needed till her next find. "You didn't tell me your name too. I should know the name of the guy whos holding my most amazing find yet hostage in his silly shirt." she said as she glanced at him. He was cute...damn it she couldn't think that! She had no time to be silly and girly she needed to find a good source of money for her self while her mom was off being silly.

Seeing her wiggle made him laugh a little. How cute was she!? Still, he shook his head when she said she could pay him if she was able to sell the rock first. Not what he wanted. Huyana didn't like that he learned she lived alone. Wasn't she a bit young for that? It would explain why she wanted the rock so badly.
"My name is Huyana." He said off hand. Of course he expected her to know of him. He had quite the name where he came from. "Huyana Zaltana." This time he gave a small bow of his head and a flourish of his hands. Since he was sitting he couldn't do a full one. "I won't ask for much, Lixue." Huy purred out her name and gave a seductive smirk. "I think I'd settle for a kiss.. or maybe a date." He gave her two choices to pick from though he was hoping for both.

She frowned a little and crossed her arms. A kiss? Or a date? What was this male thinking! Her purple brows furrowed a little as she looked up at him with the most serious of faces she could muster up right now. "A kiss....or a date? And what ever would you want those for? I mean...I'm just...." she looked down at her self. Frost covered and slightly dirty from digging for things in areas on her journey. She was sure she looked a right mess from the wind tugging at her hair and bangs before she had pulled her hood on and then the chilly wind had brought some pink to her face and a chap to her lips.
"I'm not one to kiss random strangers but if your not going to toss my rock and will give it to me then we'll go on a date. i do not know what one would do on a date though so you'll need to take charge of this. I need to put all my stuff away though." she said as she sighed and looked at the lump in his shirt that was her half of the rock and she sighed and waved in the direction of the village. "Well get up and come with i am not sticking around here all day i have a rock to sell." she said with a glance at him. She had kind of known the name a little bit, she wasn't ignorant to the other big names around her home area of the country. But she wouldn't let him know that she knew about who he was. She walked off towards the village hoping he caught up soon.

So the girl had chosen the date option. That worked for him. Huyana smiled at her as she looked at herself and shook his head. "Beauty is beyond the skin, Lixue." And he had a thing for her eyes. Plus, she had long hair. He liked that.
He got to his feet and stretched a bit before he sauntered up beside her. Though he slipped his arm around her waist and pulled her toward him, stalling their walk to wherever it was that she wanted to go sell that rock. "Mm, I think I'd rather spend the time alone with you." Huyana made sure his grip was gentle and if she truly wanted to get away from him she could.
"Or are you in a hurry?"

She was surprised as he came up and put his arm around her. She jumped a little and almost pushed him away but then thought better of it knowing that she needed him to be happy so she could get her half of the rock back. She let him hold her and stood there as he said he would rather spend it alone.
"Whoooaaa there buddy if your planning on hitting all this I am not about that understand?" She said stepping aside and out of his arms now. "We can chat. If you want to hang out here and chat we can do that. If you wanna chat at my house where we will be alone and i can change then lets head there. Thats all good. But i am not letting you get all up on this." she said gesturing to all of her self with a raised brow. "Is that ok cause I'm not quite old enough for that and I'm just not interested right now." she said as she looked at him.

He blinked several times before he started to laugh. Huyana had heard the "I'm not easy" line before but never to this degree. It was.. cute. Still he shook his head and lifted his hands in a surrendering pose. "Easy, snow kitten, I didn't mean that kind of alone." His words held a chuckle and he reached into his shirt to take out the rock that she was so intent on getting back. "I meant I'd like to talk to you and get to know you." There were many reasons for his want to do that.
He held out the precious rock for her to take. "Here, I'll even give this back so you don't have to force yourself to stick around." Huy grew serious now. "Although, it is very nice.. How much were you looking to get from it?" It would make a nice gift for her sister. She liked pretty things.

Heras Box I know right I've been laughing my butt off so hard at this shes great!
She frowned a little and took her rock...she looked at it and put it in the bag with the other half. "What do you mean? You just want to give me this back and...get to know me? What is your play? Are you going to slip me some kind of powder that knocks me out and then enjoy alone time? Cause i wont drink anything you offer me." she said, leaning to one side and crossing her arms again. "My mama told me about boys who like to have easy women who offer up no fight and im not fallin' for it mister. Just so were clear. I suppose i can use a small break. Sit back down and we'll chat here i would rather you not know where i live if it can be helped." she said waving back to the tree where it was at least sheltered and covered.
"I have some bread and cheese left if you want any?" she asked as she sat and dug in her bag and pulled out some cloth wrapped bundles of cheese and bread. "I might have some water but i better not see you put nothing in it." she said with a stern face of seriousness. "And i don't know what i want for it. I was going to see what offers i got and if one fit what i need to get bought ad paid for then i'll take it."

Tiger_Kisa699 Hahaha! Poor Huy feels insulted a little.
When she started saying stuff about him putting things in her drink he brought a hand to his chest. "Whoa, now hold up a minute. There will be none of that." The look he gave seemed both hurt and offended. Did this girl really think he would do that? Did he look like that kind of guy? Or was it that her mother told her all guys were that way? "Just talking is all I had in mind, really. I need a break from my travels."
With a frown in place he headed back toward the tree to sit down in the same butt print he'd left in the snow before. "Sheesh, Lixue, you sure know how to make a guy feel cheap." Huy sighed and leaned his head back against the trunk. See what he got for being flirtatious? A verbal smack to the face.

Frowning she looked at him and blushed a little. She crossed her arms shyly and glanced way. "Sorry...i didn't mean to i just...i don't see many others often enough at all. Its just me and the snow out here. Sometimes people stop by to see me and once in a blue moon mom stops by but...I don't know what to do around guys...and for sure not around ones that have accused me of being beautiful." she said like she still didn't understand. No one had called her that before, her mom called her her 'pretty little snow flower' but she had never been called beautiful and she didn't know what to think of it still. "I just...I don't want to give the village more things to talk about with me and my mom...they have enough as it is...i don't need them calling me names." She said, her hands relaxing into her lap as she took a small bit of bread and lifted it to her lips to nibble on.
"Why are you traveling...?" she asked softly wanting to think about something else that wasn't her crazy mother. She felt bad giving him the wrong impression of what she thought of him. She didn't think he was the kind...but she didn't know what to think...she wanted to like him...no one who looked as cute as him had ever wanted to spend time with her like this. "I dunno what i want for the rock by the way...I...As long as its a good enough offer that will get my stuff paid for and bought and food i'll take it." she said softly. Heras Box hehe she feels so bad now.

Huyana looked at her a bit sarcastically. "You accused me of intending to rape you, Lixue." Still he took a deep breath and shook his head. "Don't worry about it." Lifting his gaze toward the over hanging branches he watched the snow as it settled and dropped. "In case you didn't know by the fact that I didn't stop you from leaving my arms earlier.. I'm not that kind of guy." It was now that he brought his eyes to meet hers.
"I'm heading home after visiting Sauti on business." His shoulders came up then slowly went back down. What else was there to say? That he'd hopefully made a deal with an Inn owner? Well, he might have been more enthusiastic with the conversation had he not been insulted a few moments prior. Still, he changed the subject back to her.
"I do think you are beautiful. Your eyes and hair color is a rare thing to see." And Huy liked rare. If he could he'd collect all the rare things in the world. Sadly, he didn't think people would like that. "I'll buy you a mirror so you can see what I mean."
Since she didn't know what to ask for as far as price on the rock he dug into his pants pocket and took out several gold pieces. Even if he was overpaying for the thing it was worth it to him since it would make his baby sister light up. "Here." Huyana held them out for her to take. "My little sister likes pretty things."
