Leucite was out on the prowl once again, though he had no quarry in mind this time. Instead, he was seeking potential prey. He'd picked a new part of town, as the dealers in his usual parts were getting super skittish and that meant that they brought firearms to play a lot faster. Having no desire to deal with another bullet wound, Leucite instead focused on finding new stomping grounds. He perched above the city then, looking down at the lights below and debated taking the alleys. For now however, he was content to remain on the rooftops, scanning the area for potential order prey as well. After all, prey was prey.

He stood out and he knew it, the red top and the pants not to mention the fact he wore a vest! A vest in the middle of January...couldn't whatever decided on his uniform been a bit nicer -more sympathetic? Cold didn't bother him normally...because he was dressed for it. But right now he was not dressed for it and while he was warmer than he supposed he should be he was still cold!
It was because he stood out that he was walking through back alleys, he had left his cell phone home tonight as this was an area he had a fair amount of familiarity with so he didn't worry about getting lost. He also didn't care to drop his phone or anything else if he wound up in another fight, he was lucky he hadn't had it taken or anything else the last time with the lieutenant.
As he walked he let his mind wander, just a bit, unaware that while he couldn't sense some people, due to them being of a higher level, they could sense him as they had better, sharper, senses. He didn't know he might have already been noticed by someone.

Noticed he was, and so, with very little prompting, Leucite moved from his perch toward the new target. It was a weaker signature than his own, but no sense in not putting the fear of God in someone. So it was would be with very little warning that Leucite descended from the rooftop into the alley below, landing behind the page and smirking. "You're in the wrong part of town kid." He muttered. "Smart move would be to get the hell out now."

He had felt them but too late, way too late, as they landed behind him. The sound of their landing causing him to turn toward the sound and it's owner - Negaverse. The first thought which went through his mind. This wasn't like that lieutenant...this was stronger and that didn't settle well with him.
He really doubted they'd let him go, even if they were telling him to go. The tone of voice told him that they weren't going to let him go, he was sure of it. He didn't summon his weapon, he didn't consider a feather duster to be a weapon, and rather took fisted his right hand and took a swing for the other - might as well get it started.

Had the other male turned and ran, Leucite would have - probably - let him go. Maybe. Or at least let him go long enough to give him something to chase and extend the excitement of the hunt a bit longer. But seeing as he instead threw a fist at him instead, Leucite decided he'd give this one the benefit of the doubt. Bringing his own right arm up, he brought his forearm in under the other male's punch to deflect it before jabbing out quickly at his opponent's ribs with his left. Start with body shots, wear them down. Grapple if you can. Then start going for head shots when they're too tired to keep their hands up.

He wasn't a fighter, he hadn't trained in any sort of combat, but he at least wasn't weak thanks to the gym. He knew he might not win, not against someone stronger and higher in power level, but he was better off than some weak and tooth pick tiny person - at least in his opinion.
While the hit connected with his ribs, and had him trying to move that part of his body away even while wanting to keep in close to fight, the page brought one of his feet up to try and kick at a knee with the heel of his shoe. If he could get the knee to go weak he could take advantage of it. He was out to at least hurt the other, as he didn't think he could win this fight.

The kick to his knee got Leucite's attention. The guy had some force behind his hits, but then - you had to take hits to make hits. That was probably the one advantage he had over most. He was used to getting hit. When you stepped in the ring you were going to get hit. You accepted this fact and you powered through the pain. Still, the kick to his knee caused him to stagger a bit, and so he decided instead to just keep the momentum going. As he stumbled forward he pressed on, his more stable foot moving behind to push his body more forward into a half-tackle. The next time his hand reached out it grabbed a hold of the vest and twisted the fabric, getting a firm grip as the other arm moved to try and wrap around the other male's side and back. Time to hit the floor.

hit the floor they did and the force pushed the air from his lungs and left him sucking in air quickly, wanting to get himself past that so he was ready for what came next and could deliver another attack as well. Once he'd taken a few deep, quick, breaths the page took stock of himself. His vest had been grabbed, lovely, and an arm was about him. Well...that left him little wiggle room.
It looked like he'd have to work with what he had and that meant wiggling an arm free in order to go for the face with nails. People did not like being grabbed in the face especially the eyes as it was a vulnerable area - so he went for it. he'd done it before and he was not opposed to playing dirty.

The nails that scratched against Leucite's face alerted him that he was not dealing with a garden variety fighter. This one was willing to do whatever it took to keep going and he had to give him props for that. Tossing his head back, he feinted acting like he was trying to keep his face away from the hand. Only to bring it forward quickly, and mash the hard bony part of his forehead against the pinned man's nose, trying his damndest to make sure it hurt. The hand in the vest unhooked and he started to punch him in the ribs and side again - harder than before. The other arm was pinned beneath the other man, and remained so, not trying to move too much right then as they scrapped on the ground.

Of course the Captain wasn't dealing with a normal person, Venice was not willing to just roll over and give up but he also had no formal training in fighting, he'd never been in a fight till that youma on Christmas eve...and than the Lieutenant after it. This was the third time he'd been in a fight. He had figured the other was looking to escape his nails, he would if he were in the others position, but when the forehead smashed into his nose he made a surprised, and pained, sound. That had hurt! He wished he could bring his fingers up to his nose, to gently prod at it and make sure it wasn't bleeding or wasn't about to start bleeding, but his hands were occupied. The one which had been at the others face had decided to do it's best in punching the side of the others head. Cursing, and not in English, over his nose he really hoped it wasn't broken or anything. He'd had surgery once on his nose, to make it look better, and didn't want that ruined or need to go under the knife again - once was enough.
The following punches which were delivered to him had him trying to escape them or lessen the blows as he tried to wriggle away while at the same time he tried to curl up and protect himself, instincts.
While the other didn't have use of both arms Venice did and the other hand was trying to find purchase - something to grab and squeeze, anything to deliver some pain to the other.Torvil Let me know if this is good.

Tenacity was not something he'd seen in his enemies usually. It actually made him feel quite sad really. But this one had fight in him, and that was good. Cussing a bit as the hand that had been trying to claw at his head cuffed him good upside it, he let out a small, pleased laugh. "You'd make a good Officer, you know that?" He grinned, allowing the other male to squirm out from his grip and rolling away to give him a bit of breathing room. "You really should think about fighting for the right side." The sounds he'd heard from the other male had not been English, but that didn't mean he might not understand. "You fight well, we could use you."

"Me?" he asked surprise flashing across his dark eyes before he shook his head. "No." He doubted that, and he wasn't about to join that side, not after he'd been attacked, nearly killed, and see some poor drunk attacked as well. Taking the opportunity to check his nose, finding some blood had escaped, he let his hand fall to his side. It didn't feel broken though it did hurt, and he wasn't a doctor, he'd get it checked perhaps. But for now he took advantage of the other being off him so he could breath.
"No training- can't fight." No, but he would do whatever he could and that's why he'd done. He fought in whatever manner he could, what he thought would work. That made him material for them...? He didn't like that idea. He wouldn't join them - ever and he knew that.
"I am on right side. other side tried to kill me." And that was enough for him to determine who was good and who was bad. If they could do that to him they could to others, they did do it to others, and they could do it to his family.

Leucite smiled and nodded at that. "It's a war, everyone is trying to kill everyone else. It saddens me that you don't see the right of our side. But no matter." He waved a hand dismissively. "You've earned the chance to walk away from this fight now. Or we can follow it to its natural conclusion. Your choice." He crossed his arms over his chest, watching the other man, his stance was still active and ready to go if the page decided he'd rather fight than flee. "This will be your only chance. The next time we meet I will fight you until one of us is dead."

"I see no right, no absolute right, on either. Balance, harmony in the universe. None is right - none is wrong. Must have both." He stated to the other. He understood a need for both without ever having met the code, unlike some knights, he had an understanding and acceptance of such a thing. How could you call something good when you had nothing 'bad' to compare it to? How could you have light without dark? You needed both to survive and for harmony and balance to exist and you need that in the universe. He didn't like the negaverse, didn't like what they did or the threat they posed to so many but perhaps if they were more palatable he would not willing to fight and hurt them, and he wouldn't want to see them change sides (throwing off the balance) or being killed. He was conflicted and he knew why he was so conflicted, he didn't like thinking of people suffering and being killed especially the potential for it to happen to family and friends.
"Natural conclusion? None has been set in stone. Not for this." He said before he looked the other over. "I should trust you? You will not follow me?" He asked. He was right to not trust and to be hesitant. But the other seemed willing perhaps to let him go...he was being complimented even. He could get away but then what? Who else would be hurt tonight? But he couldn't win, he knew it, and how much damage could he inflict? Not likely enough to keep him from attacking anyone else tonight. If anything he'd be too hurt to do anything, like helping others, for a few nights.
Weighing his options, rather quickly, he looked at the other. "Next time I will be stronger." He would be, he would see to it. He knew it was a risk, the other might lash out, but he did bow anyway. It wasn't too low but it was certainly a bow. When he straightened himself he looked the other over. "next time."

It was an interesting stance to take, Leucite had to admit. But regardless, it was wrong. The Negaverse was righteous and that was all that really mattered. They were protectors of the planet, tasked to defend the greater good of all from the invading forces. But semantics, semantics. Leucite bowed back, just as slightly. "You have my word I will not follow." He said firmly. "I do not break my word." As he spoke of growing stronger, Leucite grinned and bowed his head. "Please, please do." With that, he took a moment and teleported himself back onto the rooftop he had started the evening. Allowing himself to lean against the wall as he waited for the signature to vanish.
