Melanie found herself tapping her pencil, the words she was writing suddenly lost, as she looked around her room. It was a really quiet night in Grendel, wasn't it? There was usually someone playing music nearby enough for her to hear it at this time, but tonight, it seemed like everyone had gone to bed early. Well, it was her fault for getting used to having background noise, it wasn't like it was going to be constant anyway.

Still, she sighed, her ears wishing for some sort of sound to come through the air. It was all she wanted, a little music, a sound. Something to keep her from getting bored or wanting to fall asleep. She tapped her pencil more as her frustration built up, and forced herself to rise. Maybe a snack would help her settle? This paper wasn't going to write itself, after all. She padded herself into the kitchen and opened up a cabinet, before pausing as a cry rang out from the hall outside.

"A baby?" She said, placing the bag of corn chips she'd found on the counter.

The Goblin nudged herself closer to the door and slowly opened it, her eyes squinting toward the form of her neighbor across the hall. They seemed busy with a small bundle, a rather wiggly one, as they turned the key to their dorm and shuffled inside. Melanie watched the pair go and leaned against the wall once her door closed. However, her eyes drifted toward her bed in the corner and moved, slowly, to the empty space on the opposite wall. It was more than enough space for a crib, maybe even a small bed... A smile crept to her face.

"I think I know just what this place needs." She mused, stepping toward her computer. She'd read something about a stone bank nearby and she had enough money saved up... Her smile grew as she entered a search query and found the info she was looking for, as well as directions, and she swiftly nodded. It was decided, she'd make the trek after class tomorrow morning and be back in time for her night-time dance class. Soon there would be a lot more commotion going on here, just as she liked it!
