For months a lone scientist had been working upon a serum. One that would help barren women finally live their dreams on becoming pregnant. A miracle cure that would bring happiness. It was her dream ever since she was a child. The serum was supposed to heal and revive the areas effected possibly even making a woman a bit more fertile than normal.
After countless tests and experiments on lab rats, she knew she was on the right track when one of them began showing signs of pregnancy. There was only one thing to do, find someone who was willing to be a guine pig. One that wouldn't mind being pregnant for nine months, though despite her efforts and money offers, no women wanted to become an experiment. Determined to see how well her serum worked the scientist came up with a solution and did the only thing left to do.
She became the experiment. Her boyfriend (my character), worked as a janitor for the lab. While they might not share the same jobs, both of them connected and fell in love. So he was the first one she asked to jump into and support her. For a bit he was reluctant, but seeing how hopeful she wanted her serum to work, he agreed.
A team of builders and scientists came together to build a couple rooms in one of the facilities. A test room where both would spend the next nine months. Taking measurements, being recorded for a partnership project funding the experiment, and supporting one another through it all. Once the rooms in the facility were finished, and both her and her boyfriend had moved in she injected herself with the formula.
The rp picks up a few days after, where she's showing signs. The scientist's experiment is a complete success! Though too much so as her serum allows the womb to be stretched a bit further to hold more than the normal. A possible side effect that could be removed later. There was no turning back now, they had nine long months of growing, hormones, pampering, and living ahead of them.

Nicolette's fingers tapped rapidly on the keys of her computer entering the final results of her latest lab tests. The serum she had been developing for years was apparently working on female of the multitude of species she had tested them on. Rats as well as other smaller creatures were fixing any problems they had as well as their heightening their reproductive habits. It was coming time to find a new subject to test it on herself.
The scientist and her lover had been getting everything ready for their initial night she wasn't sure what was going to happen but Nicolette thought to herself "its for science." All she had to wait for Nathaniel to be here before they would be able to start whenever he would be ready.
Nathaniel was nervous about all of this. He knew about the serum, back when it was still in development. He had seen what it could do to lab rats, how large they could get. To think that his lover wanted to test it on herself....
Well it was the only way, no one else wanted to test out the serum. He remembers how disappointed she became after all of that rejection. So he was a little surprised when she announced that Nicolette, herself, was going to be the test subject and shut herself up in her lab for a week. To just randomly text him one day and state that she was finished.
They were to move into a enclose "house" to be studied. It was built within the lab so if anything went wrong they could easily get the antidote if there was one. Despite all of his fears Nick had her back and support. He entered the facility and let the movers carry some of his stuff into the new place they would be staying for a while.
He found her and wrapped his arms around her placing his hands on her flat belly. "Hello love!" he cooed kissing her cheek cuddling her some. "Tonight's the night huh?" if it all went well he would be probably rubbing a pregnant tummy. Sure he was a bit excited, secretly he had always wanted to have a family with her, but he couldn't help but hold her protectively. If anything happened to her, Nick wasn't sure what he would do.

(Never knew that Nick was a nickname for Nathaniel heh) Feeling Nathaniel wrap himself around her made Nicolette chuckle. She knew he was worried and wanted to do all in her power to keep him calm.
"Hey Nathan." She smiled letting her hand fall to where his hand was on her stomach and gently squeezed it. "It is tonight. Beginning tonight we will be the first human test subjects of the restorative and gestational aide. " She giggled before saying that. "I also hope you're in for some fun tonight as we will have to do things the old fashioned way." Nicolette looked up with a naughty expression on her face. "I wrote a little program that will be easy for us to copy down anything we feel when we're first injected with the serum and anything else that happens afterwards."
Nathan closed his eyes and held her. Blushing at her flirting he smiled. "Y-Yes I mean how can you end up pregnant if we don't make love?" he spoke cuddling her. "If this works, it's going to be interesting cuddling you pregnant." His blush darkened.
"To probably feel your rounding tummy and the life bouncing around inside. I'm scared, what if this kills your or gives you too many that you'll pop or something?" he sighed letting her go and taking a seat next to her. "I trust you, and I'm willing to do this with you, but I don't want to lose you, I love you after all." he smiled relaxing a bit.
"How are you feeling about this honey?" Nathan asked with curiosity.

"I'm just kidding love. It just marks the first time we're getting to enjoy our more intimate moments." Nicollete chuckled before letting her hands clench his for a moment before he let go of her and sat down in the swivel chair next to her.
"You're not going to need to worry about me Nathan, really. Every other test subject survived without any incident. Quite the fact is" She pointed to the tube behind her with a female rat inside. "Thats the last litter. She's doing much better than she was before more energy and spry even after having her litter."
"Well To tell you the truth it will be an interesting experience I'm not worried about dying or anything of that nature. I keep saying to myself its for science. I can always reverse it." She gave him a warm smile before kissing him on the cheek.
That was reassuringly true. Taking hold of her hand Nathan smiled. "Alright then, I'm still with you 100%!" he cooed giving her hand a loving squeeze. Sharing a moment of alone time, even giving her a passionate kiss on the lips one of her assistants barged in right in the middle.
"Professor Nicolette we're all set up and ready to begin the experi---oh my I'm so sorry!" she blushed realizing they were making out. Nathan pulled away blushing and stood up.
"No don't worry about it. Proceed." he replied kindly as the scientist nodded. She smiled and handed Nicolette a notebook filled with data about the formula and it's effects and everything. Increased hunger, possible bloating, any odd break-outs or anything, that stuff.
"Whenever you're ready we can head to the medical ward and inject you with the serum." she smled eager to serve, also eager for a promotion.

Accepting his kiss Nicolette gave a content sigh closing her eyes and letting Nathan continue. She mentally smiled to herself. Something was exciting her and she didn't know when when the door had been quickly opened to reveal her overly eager assistant Lisa. She always had a tendency to barge in at the most inopportune moments though it was for a good reason.
"Its al right Lisa, I know you too well by now" Nicolette Stood up and wrapped herself around Nathaniel. "Well then love? Shall we begin this little experiment?" She smirked before both of them were whisked off to the medical ward.
Each of them were injected with the serum and then hurried off to their new bedroom within the lab. While it was a simple home for them Nicolette thought she could get used to it. She would have to. She eyed Nathan taking his shirt off and the young woman licked her lips. It was time for a little fun with her loved one...
It was a lazy day today. Nathan lay in there bed relaxing. The passion the made a month ago after being injected was amazing. The serum was supposed to stimulate the sensation and they had spent their time getting lost in each other's love.
Looking over at her sleeping he smiled, it had taken them a month to fully move in and everything but now they were finally settling into their new home that would be theirs for nine months.
The experiment was a success his beloved was pregnant. Nathan was so happy, grateful that the experiment had produced positive results.

She had no idea what the serum she had created would do to her libido but she were glad that it had. The young woman in her sleep just dreamt of the month prior snuggling in her loved one's arms until something interrupted her dream. A rumbling in her stomach made Nicollete throw off the covers just as she woke up and hurried to the water closet releasing a stream of last nights dinner.
Once done Nicolette grumbled pushing herself back up and taking a glass from the sink and filling it with water before swishing it around in her mouth to get rid of the taste of bile. Least now she knew she were pregnant... shed have to record "morning sickness" into the database after she ate some breakfast later For now the scientist pulled her pyjamas top up to reveal the her once flat stomach now rounded quite considerably considering her only being a month along. She placed her hands on it looked into the mirror a small smile crossing her face.
He stirred himself, feeling the warmth of his lover and her belly lifting itself away from him. Half asleep he heard the tale tell signs of vomiting. Morning sickness, he had warned her not to eat too much last night. With a yawn and a stretch he got up and got dressed.
Nicolette would feel a pair of arms wrap around her, as well as a pair of hands joining her in holding her rounded tummy. "Good morning Mommy." he flirted cooing as he stared down at her decent sized bump. For a month along she seemed rather big, was it multiples? Kissing her neck he held her softly as he stared at them in the mirror.
"You look cute with a bump Nico." he blushed calling her by the nickname he had for her. In the coming months she was only bound to get bigger. "Well, breakfast should be arriving soon. So what do you want to do in the meantime?" he asked softly.
They were given food by the other scientists. Sooner or later the table will be set. They couldn't go very far, instead they were recorded and observed. It was an odd concept, but after a month he had learned to ignore the cameras and focus on his pregnant girlfriend.
