The library was finally closing and Seung was one of the last people stepping out into the cold dark night. He had come here to do some homework as his mother was on a cleaning spree of the living room, all in order to paint the large room, and the smells from the cleaning products and the paint bothered him. He had been trying to study, and work on his English as well, at home but had found it increasing in difficulty as the apartment filled with the smells despite the windows being open. That was what had brought him outside a few hours ago and to the library, which he'd found with the help of a gps app on his cell phone.
Now though he stood outside in a puffy coat, several books weighing his arms down, as he glanced about. Bending down to a crouching position he set his books down on the side walk and drew his phone from a coat pocket. A quick text was sent, as soon as his phone was unlocked, telling his mother he was going to be out late. The reason for being out late? Going to see a friend from school, a complete and utter lie but believable. It was a lie he'd told his parents a few times now and had yet to be questioned on, aside from the friends name and a few other basic, and completely expected, things.
With that done the phone was pocketed once more and the books picked up before he found a place to gain some cover. Since becoming a knight a few weeks back he'd tried to go out and patrol, in the hopes of killing some of those youma, a few nights each week. He found it a really odd thing, like something out of a manga his sister or cousin would read, but it was something he was getting used to as time went on.
Hidden by bushes and trees, he summoned up the feathery item which also caused a change in uniform. From a nice winter appropriate outfit to something that was meant to only be worn in the summer - how lovely. A shiver passed through him at the drastic, and sudden, change but once it passed he was tossing his head, and thus his hair, as he stepped out of hiding.

Tony always liked the end of the night. Not just because it meant work was over, as he had more work starting once the place was locked up and quiet, but because he liked to see the dedicated faces of the last few patrons, and whatever brought them to the library so late at night. mostly it was for homework or out of dire need to get something done, but some were there to work on personal projects in quiet, or simply because they loved to read.
He secretly wished he could get to know them all, and their stories, but of course he only had so much space in his head for things like that. And also, most regular customers just treated him like part of the scenery, or as a tool for help and not as a unique, living person. Which was fine: they didn't come to the library for company.
At least not from the librarian.
Once the lights were off and the doors were locked, Tony took the stairs up to the roof. He waited for a little while, letting the night settle, before he powered up. He sensed the nearby aura of a Page almost immediately, turning his head in its direction automatically, though of course he was high above it.
He moved to the edge of the roof, looking down to see if he could spot the source. Any time there was a White Moon aura nearby the library, he tended to assume it was someone looking for him.

As he stood there, wondering where to go as he was still very much unfamiliar with most of the city, he felt it. Something sudden and powerful. It had him freezing in place as it pinged off his senses in a way he wasn't ready for. He'd never been around another like himself so it was new for him and it had him slowly turning to look around, to find it, as he stepped out of his little hiding spot.
He had only ever felt an eternal senshi, Polaris, and this was stronger than her. Who was this and what were they? Having no experience he didn't realize that senshi all felt similar and knights similar, but not the same as each other. He didn't realize this was the signature of a knight and thus wondered if it may be a senshi like Polaris or the one who had saved him not so long ago. The thought of that night brought one hand up to his vest covered chest. Rubbing gently over his heart, as if he could still feel the immense pain from that night.
He still couldn't forget it, he'd dreamed of that night a few times now, and he was sure that he would not let that happen again - to himself or anyone else if he could help it. The pain had been on a level he hadn't thought possible and he couldn't imagine anyone else going through it.
The thoughts, the feelings, were pushed aside though as he continued to scan the darkness. Dark cat like eyes sought what was there but came up with nothing.

Camelot spotted the Page down below, smiling to himself and leaping off the roof. it was always fun, and a simple little thrill he liked to indulge in when he got the chance. After all, not a lot of people could just leap off of roofs and be okay afterward. He landed heavily, with a clang of metal, near to the Page but not close enough to threaten him.
Camelot didn't want to make it seem like he was attacking, after all, just coming down to say hello.
He straightened up, cape falling into place gracefully behind him, and he smiled at the new face. This was someone he had never met before, which was always a pleasure. It felt like part of his duty to get to know as many knights and senshi as he could, and help them in any way he could. He considered himself a knight of the White Moon, after all, and because of that, he was in service to all of its soldiers.
"Good evening!" he greeted, smiling warmly and lifting a hand in a friendly wave. "Sorry if I startled you. It's not easy to drop down from that height gracefully."

No, not threaten him but certainly startle him .The sound of metal and the landing had him jumping and turning, almost at the same time, as he caught his balance his dark eyes went as wide as they could. Oh my...well this was interesting and not something he was expecting. Staring the lightly dressed page stood almost rooted to the spot. This wasn't someone who was bad, certainly didn't feel it, but they were certainly a surprise to him.
When they finally spoke he calmed and nodded slowly and rather than wave he bowed, it was really a habit he even did in school - and got teased for. "Good evening." Greeting in return he straightened himself after a moment. His dark eyes continued to look over the uniform, taking in the details. There was a lot to it, how did one fight in such a uniform? It seemed heavy and bulky, like it would become a hindrance rather than a good thing.
"Yes, very hard - all metal." All that metal would make it hard, would make the landing loud.

Camelot chuckled. He sounded like a bell tower, sometimes, the way his armor rang and clanged all the time.
But it had its uses, too.
"Ah, well. Anyway. My name is Camelot, Royal Knight of Earth. I don't think I've seen you around before. Are you newly awakened?"
He smiled, offering his hand in greeting. Handshakes were generally harmless, easy ways to help someone feel more comfortable with him. At least, that's what he found. he was no threat, but his aura and his appearance made him intimidating against his own will, sometimes, so he wanted others to know he was a big teddy bear as soon as possible.
As far as newbie knights went, he was basically a mother hen. He immediately just wanted to take care of them, and help them figure out anything they needed help with.

Camelot...like the old stories? They might not be stories told where he was from but his friend, Akihiko, had liked fantasy stories and didn't care where they were from. He had liked them all and it was how Seung, Venice at the moment, had been introduced to things like Camelot. "Ah, Camelot." Nodding his head he bowed once more.
"Venice of Ganymede." That much he knew from his talk with Polaris and somehow he'd just known it as well. Straightening he nodded his head then. "Yes, new. Christmas eve." The accent was heavy, wanting to fall back to using a language he as better with but he forced himself into English. He had to work on it, had to get comfortable with it. He'd been working, with several people and resources, on it and he was getting better but it still felt odd on his tongue and he questioned it a lot as well.
"A youma attacked, I was...alone." Pacing himself slowly, thinking of what and how to say what he wanted before saying it. "It would have hurt the monks." He'd been at a temple, the only place in this city to find monks. There was only one Buddhist temple in Destiny city so only one location for this event to have happened. "It attacked me...and then." he held up the item in his hand, indicating it had just shown up and he'd taken it - the rest was obvious right? He had immediately jumped into a fight though, even before powering up, in order to protect other people, without much thought given really.

Christmas Eve? What a christmas present, he thought with only a small amount of bitterness. While being a knight was amazing, it was still difficult to deal with some of the dangers of becoming one, and it was not much of a present for a holiday. It came with a lot of weight, and a lot of responsibilities.
It was like getting a pet for christmas, and not being prepared for it.
Camelot also noted the accent, nodding along with the slow story patiently. It had to be extra difficult for this poor new knight. After all, this stuff was hard to understand when it was in your own language, let alone in a second one.
"And you were granted this power to protect them. That's what knights do, of course. That means you have a great amount of potential in you, and are destined for something great. As a soldier of the White Moon, or in your own right. This path has been opened in front of you, but it's up to you how you walk it. How do you feel with this new power? Are you okay?"

He'd always been good with handling obligations, responsibilities but this was a new one. School, and the exams which came for it, wasn't so bad at least not where he was from. it was something everyone went through and everyone understood, even the adults as they'd gone through it also even if to a lesser extent as things had become more fierce over the years. He had done what he'd needed to, held up under the pressures, but this was something new and he hoped he could handle it. He knew he had to try though, he had a family to protect and keep safe. But beyond that...there were other people at risk, like those monks had been that night. He felt bad thinking of protecting his family before others but he couldn't help it, they were his family.
"I will protect them - I won't fail." And maybe the other wouldn't get it, or understand, but it was a habit that he raised a fisted hand, not all the way as his elbow was bent, and pumping his fist once in the air. "Fighting." it was a common thing back home, something he'd done many times in the past, as a form of encouragement and this time it was for himself he was using it. As his hand dropped back to his side, his fingers uncurling, he nodded his head.
Potential...to be something great? With what amounted to be a feather duster? How was that possible? He wanted to ask, to laugh even, but he didn't as the others words somehow made him also feel special...perhaps like a super hero of sorts, as horrible as that sounded. It did invoke such a feeling in him.
"Different..." Biting down on his bottom lip, pondering how to best answer it. He understood the question and he knew how he wanted to answer but how to say it? Different was one way to say it but there was more to it - a lot more.
"No paddle." Would that make sense to the other. "Compass that only works some times." he had learned some from Polaris but he didn't know anyone aside from her, and now maybe this figure, and he couldn't do this on his own. He'd been lucky against that youma at the temple. What if he was grabbed by someone else like that one with the hole in his chest? Then what? He knew he couldn't handle that on it his own - he was sure of it. He felt different, special now also, but weak and like he was almost entirely alone and he didn't like it. It felt like it had when they'd first moved here. In a room full of people but separate...like a veil was between you and them and you all saw each other threw it but there was no contact. How to explain that though to the other? It was a lot and he had not the words for it. So he settled for the only response he could give, he just had to hope the tone of voice and look did most of the talking for him.
"Alone. Only Polaris."

Camelot couldn't help but smile when the other said he felt like he had no paddle. It made sense, of course, even without the rest of the saying attached to it. That was the good thing about colloquialisms, he supposed, as once they were learned they became all too easy to recognize.
"Polaris? She'll help you. And so will I. You don't have to be alone in this war, there are many of us who are all too happy to help, if you call for it. And that's for anything, from training and support in battles, or just to talk. Or, uhm. You know, as best we can."
Language barriers could be an issue, but Camelot was doing his best and it seemed the new Page was, too, so it worked out. They weren't having too many problems, understanding each other, at least.
"I know it's a lot to take in, and can be a little overwhelming, but there are a lot of knights and senshi out there that have been through the same thing."

"Polaris...she saved me..and another..." He spoke up, thinking back to both saves. He was glad for the two who had helped him, he couldn't imagine what his family would have gone through had he died either time. The second time had been so close though, too close, he never wanted to be that close to death again. He had been lucky, very lucky, and he knew it and the one who had saved him that night he owed some sort of a debt to for it. Maybe this was why he'd survived both of those times? To become a knight himself? To help others, to help someone else.
"Call for it...?" How? He couldn't think of any way to unless the other meant by cell phone...in which case he supposed he should collect peoples phone numbers, though Polaris' number was stored in his phone. Thankfully he already had his phone in hand so he had lifted it up when he'd spoken to show the other. "Will need training - very new." Though he'd already mentioned that. "Never fought before." He might go to the gym, so he had some strength to him, there was a difference between working out and actually fighting. He was going to need to work on that and he knew it...something to look into.
Many more? He could accept that and see it, after all he'd run into now three people in a fairly short amount of time. But it wasn't as many as he wished there were, considering how he'd been attacked twice. It would be nice to have more like them out there in order to handle the issues before they cropped up...like an army of them. Pushing that thought to the side he nodded his head once to show he understood, at least some of it he understood.

Camelot nodded his head. He was all too happy to offer his service, happy to train and teach any knight, or senshi for that matter, that wanted to come and get help from him.
"I don't know about phones," he said, holding up his hand to show his signet ring, "but this is how knights communicate with me. You can discover it on your homeworld, which is a large lesson in itself."
He smiled sympathetically, just throwing more information out there for the younger man to ask questions about, instead of answering things. Unfortunately, that was the way it worked a lot of the time, because there was so much involved in being a knight or senshi, and so much power to understand.
"But I can teach you the basics of fighting and defense, of course, so you can protect yourself and others if the Negaverse or some other entity of Chaos forces you to. It's always best to be able to fight, even if it's not the first tactic you try. I always try to talk before punching, but some are so consumed by Chaos, they no longer know how to listen."

"Oh!" Nodding his head he had been there but seen no ring. Perhaps when he went again he would find it? Then he could talk to others..that would be nice. "How does it work?" He asked deciding it was best to find out how a ring worked and allowed communication. There could be a number of ways and he didn't want to look like a fool, even if only to himself, when he tried to use it....whenever he found it that is.
He might drown with information, and the questions which would sprout from every answer he got, but he expected it. He expected a lot of information but also help, and that he needed. He was happy with the offer and nodded his head as he looked at the older knight. "I would like that very much." He answered. He had understood some of what was said, not all of it, but he knew an offer for help when he heard it.
"Learning would be very good. it would help a lot."

"Well, there have been many upgrades, that I'm sure you'll access as you gain more allies and contacts within the Order, but in its most basic form... well. The signet ring allows you to write a note, and send it to another knight. Now there are other, a little more technologically impressive methods of using the magic in these rings, but the theory remains the same. They are a way for us to be able to communicate."
Which was pretty vital, in a war, all things considered.
Camelot did not mind answering questions, though he did often think that he could get into too much talking and lose his audience. A lot of the time, his friends teased him about his babbling and his lectures, but what good was having information and experience if one did not choose to share it? He just wanted to help as best he could, in any way he could.
"Good! How about this, then? When you visit your homeworld and find your signet ring, you can send me a message and we will arrange our first meeting, hm? I think visiting your homeworld and finding this little thing will be a very important learning opportunity in itself, and might teach you more than I can, right off the bat."

While he didn't understand everything he did understand that he needed this ring in order to contact others, and it would be found at his wonder. So he would need to go there and find it, and sooner rather than later. But what if he didn't find it? How would he go about finding it? Was there something he had to do in order to locate it? He was sure he could do it, he had to! He did, as the other said, need to contact others- it was important. He might feel less alone in this war if he could indeed contact others, especially if he needed help.
Nodding his head to the other he bowed his head once to the other. "I will do this, I will find this ring and contact you then." He would remember the others name so he could contact him as soon as he found it. He would find out more about this war and about being a knight. He would need to find out more and learn to work with others, to make allies and perhaps...friends. The idea of making friends did bother him, it wasn't something he did really. But if he had to he could and he would! He would not give up on this and he would not put anything less than a hundred percent into this.
"I hope I can learn more, from there and from those here." The other knight in front of him and any other knights in this city. He was hoping he could learn from them all, whatever he could learn.
