Gwen looked over her notes, thinking about the other freshling she had meet. The mutants she had spoken to, the whole thing meant a lot to Gwen. When she met Anara something in her sparked and Gwen hadn't felt like that in her whole life. Before she had met Anara life had been shades of dull grey. It was now Gwen's mission to discover all she could about mutants, to learn all she could. Gwen was determined, finding Sami was a wonderful discovery, and she had some many more questions she wanted to ask the pretty mutant. Like what the vision from having three eyes was like. She considered the answer Anara had given her about her own vision. Gwen wondered what it would feel like to be able to see and feel like they could.

Gwen knew that was impossible, she was the way she was and that was the way it was meant to be. Gwen was meant to be a litch and she had decided to study mutants. Later when she was older she would take measurements and dig deeper into the mystery that was mutants. Then senior year she would attempt to discover more mysteries. Gwen life time goal was to write a book about her discoveries. So others could learn about and understand mutants. She meant what she told Anara she would shed light on the mutants, then their mystery would hopefully be gone and others would see they were not freaks. Gwen knew if she continued forth with Liath, one day there would be a better understanding.

For reasons hard to name this was really important to Gwen, perhaps because her kind was sometimes looked down on as a rotting freak. So Gwen was moved to the cause of protecting others. Making sure no one felt like a freak, so Gwen would prove to Anara she was special. She had to see that on some level Gwen loved her because she was beautiful and special. Gwen blushed as she wrote further notes on Anara's lovely hair and eyes. Then on to Sami's long tail and three eyes, trying to regain her focus. After all what good was Gwen to Anara and Sami if she didn't focus on her work and prove that they were special and not freaks??

Gwen had really met some great and special being, beings she wanted to help the work see how wonderful, if not normal they were. Though Gwen still thought at this point they were to be made to be seen as amazing but that could be her just fangirling over Anara again. Which Gwen didn't see stopping anytime soon, she wondered if she would always be to amazed and thrilled with Anara or if some day her goals in science would change. No matter what Gwen was a scientist, just as she had told others since she was a little freshling.

Gwen was ready to grow up and face her future, to continue on with her research..
