Hobbies: Food blogging (Cupcake Susan) -- Ashley has always enjoyed visiting shops selling cakes and sweets and sampling their wares and considers herself something of a 'connoisseur' when it comes to uncovering the best places to get dessert.
Certainly she's confident that she can tell you all the best dessert shops in Central London.
Blogging was something that she sort of 'fell into', with her blog - "Cupcake Susan" - which born a couple of years back when she was aged 16, after a few of her friends suggested that she blog about the places that she'd found.
And having found it something that she really enjoys doing, Ashley hasn't looked back and whilst she probably can't call herself a professional blogger she does update her blog updated on a bi-weekly basis on Wednesdays and on Sundays and her blog does have a few follows.
Running -- Ashley grew up in a household with parents who expected all their children to do some form of exercise and running was her exercise of choice.
She used to run in class competitions between the forms at school back when she was still in England, although she was better at sprinting than distance running and whilst she is no longer on a school team due to having moved to the States to study, she still continues to run although these days it generally takes the form of jogging.
Ashley also finds that running is a
great way to burn off some calories after hitting the dessert shops and it is not uncommon to find her jogging in the afternoon after classes.
Virtues: Hard working -- Whilst Ashley has her faults, laziness is not one of them. She is fully aware that if you want things done then you have to put the effort in and is fully of the belief that if you're going to take things on then there's no point in doing so just to do a half-assed job of it.
She has been known to spend hours at the library researching things for class projects and has been equally known to work at practising things over and over in order to get them as perfect as she can make it
When Ashley commits herself to something, she does so 200% and is willing to do whatever she needs to in order to not only get the task done but get it done well.
Punctual -- If Ashley says that she will be in x place at x time then you can be pretty sure that she will take whatever steps are needed to be in x place at x time - even if it means that she has to leave home half an hour early in order to skip the morning traffic.
She really dislikes it when people ask her to meet them at places and then turn up late with no good reason and tries very hard to practice what she preaches when it comes to timekeeping.
Due to this it means that Ashley is very rarely late to things and on the occasions when she is it can generally be put down to situations outside of her control.
Flaws: Competitive -- Ashley is firmly of the belief that anything you can do, she can do too - only 10 times better. It is rare for her to turn down a challenge and whilst she will try (at least at first) to do them using her own skills and abilities, she is not above cheating to get the upper hand should her own skills set and/ or luck prove not to be enough.
This combined with the fact that she tends to be a very sore loser has lost Ashley friends in the past particularly as whilst she is sorry - that she's been caught - the cheating itself is not something that she feels guilty about.
Holds a Grudge -- To say that Ashley holds a grudge is to perhaps put things mildly. She's pretty confident that she can list pretty much every 'slight' visited on her person since primary school no matter how minor and you can be sure that she's paid back each and every perceived 'misdeed' in full - even if it's taken her months in order to do so.
Payback tends to vary depending on the level of the 'misdeed' but can range from the silent treatment to finding the most annoying ways she can think up in which to make the 'offender's' life more difficult.
If you mess with Ashley then rest assured that she
will get back at you in some sort of way - no matter how long it takes.
