He hadn't waited for a response from the female he'd mt weeks ago, or at least he thought it was weeks ago. It could have been months ago that she'd saved him, he'd been so busy with things that he'd lost track of time when it came to such things. Rather than wait he sent another text to her.

Quote:
Meet me at the Buddhist temple in the city.

There was only one in the city, the one where it had happened last night, he needed to go back there. It was a place that likely would lack in population unless the community decided to floor it on Christmas morning. He hoped she could come, even if it was unfair of him to ask her to come on a holiday and spend time with her. He too was giving up the same thing to go out, though he supposed it wasn't as important to him as it was for her.

Biting down on his lip, feeling some guilt for his request but unable to take it back, he got out of bed and went to wash quickly and dress. The last things he did was brush his teeth and apply the usual things to his face, ending with makeup and lining his bottom and top inner eyelid. With himself dressed and up he left a quick note on the kitchen counter telling his parents and the girls that he had run out and would be back soon. They could gift exchange without him, he'd give them their gifts when he got back and if he missed his parents than please be safe and enjoy their time away from the apartment.

The note done he went to get his shoes from the closet by the front door of the apartment before heading out into the hallway and down to the elevator. The front door to the apartment locked safely behind him, the keys in a pocket of his coat, his family left safely behind slumbering still. He however was no longer as safe as he'd been, and considering he'd been attacked twice before last night he hadn't been safe really anyway in this city.

Letting out a long breath he clutched at the bracelet he wore, as he had last night, and sent up a silent prayer for safety and strength. He hoped that he could do this, whatever it was and whatever he'd have to do.

After the silent words went out his hand slipped into the pocket of the puffy coat he wore and clutched at his cell phone ; just as the elevator doors lid open with a ding. Stepping out into the entrance way of the building he headed for the doors and exited into the cold Christmas morning.

The walk to the temple was fairly long, but it gave him time to think and calm his nerves. He'd accidentally, something he was still unaware of, turned the volume off on his phone and so if he got any texts back he was completely unaware of it.

Taking the steps up to the temples grounds he did find people there but not a lot, though it was more than he'd wanted. The beanie on his head kept his hair mostly covered and his ears warm. Bowing to a monk he passed he kept his head low as he moved by them as a sign of respect for them. Finally, once past them, he pulled his phone out to see if he had gotten anything back from Aurora.

There was at least one thing that was good about not having nearby family or a grand social life, and that was not having grand plans even on holidays. She had phonecalls to make, but they had no exact time. And she had dinner to make, but she wouldn't start that for hours to come. Really the only thing the mysterious text had interupted was some well deserved sleeping in.

The message was gibberish when she opened it, but the listed sender atleast gave her a clue, along with a sudden quickening thud in her chest. He had been Korean if she recalled correctly? Was he in trouble again? In danger? A translation was found in record speed and a sigh of relief given when it seemed the message wasn't quite as dire as she'd first imagined.

Setting her phone aside she turned to her sleeping fiancee, leaning to brush fingers against his cheek as she pressed a gentle kiss on his lips, whispering a soft explanation to the half awake reaction she received. "Go back to sleep darling. I need to go out for a tiny bit but when I come back we can have breakfast and open presents." Hopefully he'd just sleep the whole time, but if not atleast she wasn't just mysteriously gone.

By the time she was in the bathroom a second message arrived and her fuzzy fleece pajamas were quickly traded for something warm and a brief message returned.

Quote:
On my way

She hadn't known where the temple was but a quick search on her phone had given her the address and as she power walked the distance with a soft and quick clicking of her boots she pondered over the cryptic messages (only made worse by the broken translation on her phone). He was like her...?

The lack of screams or sounds of distress were a welcome and calming thing as the temple came into sight, further settling some of her concerns. But her eyes searched the small crowd curiously nonetheless looking for the young man she'd met only once before.

This senshi stuff really was a 365 job. A soft frown touched her lips as she wondered momentarily if things would be peaceful enough next week, or if some monster or crisis was destined to cut short her wedding or honeymoon.

While she was looking for him he was looking for her, unsure how long it would take for her to arrive. After a quick walk around the temple he had moved toward where he'd entered from, the top of the stairs, and stayed there to wait. He had kept close to the entrance in the hopes of catching sight of her as she arrived. it seemed the idea had paid off as he found her, the white hair an easy give away.

Moving from where he'd been standing he made his approach, his hands still in his pockets as he approached and bowed once smiling at her. "I feared you would not come." He had worried about that as he'd waited. He had worried she wouldn't remember him or understand what he had texted her. He had worried about a lot of things and while he had some information he felt it wasn't enough, not now. It would have been enough had he not just joined in on the war - now he had to know more.

"Aurora, thank you." He was sincere as he looked at her. She was his only connection and only source of information and help.He needed her in a way he doubted she understood. New to this country and new to this. he figured he was more lost than most, if everyone joined the war similarly to himself.

"Last night, here. I was attacked, again, but it was...different." The accented English was a bit better than before. He had been working on it, trying his best to learn the language so he could communicate with others. He had a feeling he'd have to study even more since he would have to work with more people now, would need more help.

"How do you...change?" He was asking her but also seemed unsure if the word choice was right, not just if it was the right word to describe it but if the English word was right in general. It wasn't one he'd ever had to use before now.
