After laying there for gods only knew how long, Bobbi forced xemself to sit up. Xir tired eyes looked over at the clock on the small table beside the bed and xe decided a late shower was better than no shower. And from the smell of things, no shower would be a terrible mistake. Gathering what strength xe had left from his work day, xe pushed off the bed and went to gather xyr things before jumping in the shower.
The warm water running down felt wonderful and relaxing. Bobbi never cared for the business of the store or the hours. There were things that the Litch would much rather be doing. Though, if xe had to admit one thing to xemself, it was that the little children that came about in the store were such interesting little things. Actually, they were one of the only things that the Litch truly enjoyed about working that job. They were always so lively -- even if they were being little terrors or just really sweet -- and always seemed to make life so much more worth living for their parents.... no matter how many times they seemed to tell them while they were being brats 'i brought you into this world and i can take you out of it!'. That was the most common parental threat that Bobbi heard on a normal basis. It was actually quite amusing and even managed to make xyr laugh most of the time.
As Bobbi was drying off, xe began to wonder what life would be like with a little one in the picture. Would xe be the sort of parent to utter those amusing threats? or would xe actually find them to be the kind of thing that turned one's life around? Children were always a matter of fascination. The way they learned and acted. Talked and played with others. The more xe thought about it, the fonder xe was becoming of the thought of being a parent. What an interesting thing it could be. What a change in lifestyle that would take place. Plopping down to the corner of the bed, Bobbi had decided that the thought of parenthood would be quite the interesting life choice. One that xe was ready for.
