Surfing -
Cassie is a total beach bum. If it were up to her, she'd have spent every waking moment under the sun, with the head length of a surfboard beneath her feet as it sliced through the wake. Of course, that's not possible, but she does take full advantage of the warmer months of the year, riding the ripe tides and always looking for that perfect swell.
Volleyball -
Another summer time favorite for the beach. This is a hobby Cassie shares with her brother, and when she's not out riding waves, she on the sand with him, spiking volleys over the net. She's highly competitive, but enjoys the planning aspects that go into forming a well balanced team.
Choir -
One sibling had gone the theatrical route, the other had turned to music. Despite being something of a tom boy, Cassie actually has a rather pretty singing voice, and she's never had a problem getting up in front of people and showing them. A tenor, her voice lays in the middle ground, and this had allowed her to land a good number of solos throughout her high school days.
Now that she's out of high school, the teens been looking into the possibility of trying out for a local musical.

Cassie is a veritable ball of energy. Early to rise and late to bed, she seeme to be of the mindset that one should squeeze every ounce of enjoyment from life, and live it as if you could drop dead at any moment. It's made her a very passionate person. She doesn't just dip a toe into a new hobby, she dives in head long, because how else are you ever going to figure out if you truly like it or not? Life is short, and Cassie believes it's meant to be lived!
Out-going -
Shyness isn't a word you'll find in Cassiopeia's vocabulary. She's quick to talk to a stranger. Quick to join a group. Quick to share her opinion, even if no one's actually asked for it. She loves being around people, and getting out a doing things. Rather than wearing her down, being social actually seems to energize her even more(as if that were even possible). She'll talk to anyone, about anything, at any time. Shamelessly. If there's something she needs, she will ask for it. If somethings wrong, she will try to address it. If she spots someone sitting off on their own, she'll be the first to wander over and join them.
Loyal -
To Caspian specifically, but once Cassie gets to know a person well, she goes all in. If you need her, she'll be there. That's just the sort of person she is. She's friendly to everyone, but it takes a while to really earn her trust, but once you have it, you have it for good(or you somehow break it). She's pretty forgiving, and does what she cane to hang onto her friends.
Flaws:
Reckless -
Most people, when they see a yellow or red warning flag at the beach, would be smart enough to avoid the water. Cassie, on the other hand, sees the dangers that come with choppy weather and a strong under-toe as a challenge. Rules and regulations are there for a reason, but she's of the mind set tat they're more like guidelines, and don't exactly apply to her. It means more often than not she finds herself in a lot of trouble, but half the fun is working out the best way of getting herself right back out of it. Right? Right.
Tactless -
People are supposed to come equipped with a certain brain to mouth filter that is meant to catch things that could potentially cause drama, hurt, awkwardness, or any number of negative outcomes. Cassie didn't seem to come with that. She has a bad habit of simply blurting things out without thinking about it before hand. The only silver lining to this character flaw is that it tends to make her a little more honest than most might be.
Temperamental -
She's a little on the fiery side, a little too passionate at times. Generally Cassie is a very optimistic and fun loving individual, but if pushed too far, the girl's got a temper. She spent her fair share of time after school in detention for things hastily said in anger, or worse, getting into fights. It takes a lot to send her over that edge, but push too far, and she's a powder keg.
