She wasn't a crafter, she was a dancer, but that didn't mean she couldn't try to make something for her mentor before the troupe left. In all of their travels they often were joined by merchants and crafters, it was one of the things that made the troupe more successful then most, and it just so happened there was a wonderful accessory crafter that was with them now. Niadra headed towards her tend, hoping that she would be able to help Niadra make something nice. She could just buy a bracelet or necklace, but it wouldn't be the same. She wanted her mentor to have something she made with her own to hands when they parted. Something that her mentor could always look at fondly when they parted.
"Hello there, I was wondering if you could teach me how to make a bracelet. It doesn't have to be anything special, just something to give my mentor," Niadra cheerfully asked the crafter once she found him. The crafter nodded and told her where the best place to find supplies. There would be glass pieces that could be used as beads and that he would supply Niadra with the string needed. With an eager nod Niadra headed away from where the troupe was camped, knowing exactly where the glass pieces were. "Come on Jania." She called to her Raptix with a slap of her hip.

Gathering the glass pieces had been a piece of cake, but Niadra knew that what happened next wouldn't be so easy. Reaching the crafter she was instructed to come into the crafters tent and sit down. Once inside she spotted all sorts of tools that she had never seen before. She hadn't ever paid that much attention to crafters before, and now she was filled with a whole new kind of respect.
"Okay dear, so you have to put a hole in each of the pieces. This is the tool that I use to do that, would you like me to do it or do you want to give it a try?"
Niadra took the tool from the crafter, the smile on her face her answer. Although the first two pieces she broke she actually was able to do the rest. It made sense now why the crafter had told her to get so many pieces. After which she was given a string and instructed on how best to put them together. She did as she was told and when it was all said and done she was servery disappointed. This looked like something a youngling could have done.
"Is there anything I could do to make it nicer?" She asked the crafter. Although the crafter looked weary he showed Niadra some more of his tools, tools that could change the way the glass looked so it didn't just look like shards of glass. Excitedly Niadra tried to mimic what he was doing to the bracelet in his hand, but ended up breaking hers into pieces! This was going to be harder then she thought.
