 Everything was all set. She hoped. Dianthe had gathered all of her notes, piled up all of her books and binders, dragged them all into a corner of the Eldritch common room, and hoped her friend had spied the note she had stuck on his dorm room door the day before. The note read: "If you want, I can show you all of my notes on Nightmares in the common room tomorrow! We can share what we know about our own people, and start our research together. Meet me there at noon~" Dia had also brought a new, empty notebook and an extra pen for Caron, so he could take down any notes he wanted. The little brick Litch had packed some snacks too, in case they got hungry. She pulled another chair next to hers, set everything up, and sat down with her own pen and notebook. All that was left to do was wait. Midnightglow18 i started this little thing, it seems easy enough to get at least 5 posts out of each of us to fill the requirement!

 Caron grinned when he found the note from Dai, to meet her in the common room tomorrow at noon. He was so excited about starting their research together, to learn about the Bellow and tell her all he had learned so far about the Above. He was bouncing in his seat as he gather a bag, with notebooks, pens and books from the Above. Then Caron went to the common room to meet with Dai and start their work together. Caron wondering if Dai would go out with him, when he got older. She was like the perfect girl in his book, but he didn't want to ask her out till he was at least a junior or senior. His white cheeks blushed bright red at the thought. Then he bit his bottom lip, that was a long way off, he just hoped they could become friends first and maybe that would be him a better chance when they were older. Caron wasn't bothered by Dai's race at all, for whatever reason. Perhaps because the race she came from, didn't diminish the spark of intelligence he saw in her eyes. The curiosity about history that he felt as well. Caron walked into the common room looking for Dai.

Dianthe spied Caron lingering in the doorway of the common room and smiled serenely, waving sleepily at him. "Caron~ You got my note!" she said, excitement mixing in her soft, slow voice. "I forgot to put my name on it, I realized this morning. I almost thought you'd ignore it and it would be just me here in the common room." She pulled the pen from where it was tucked behind her pointy ear and clicked it nervously a couple times. She was definitely relieved that he had showed up, and was excited both to share what she knew with him as well as learn more about Above and its history. "I brought some of my textbooks, an atlas of Below, and some of my older homework assignments about some of the races and their cultures corresponding to the area they are in." she explained, pointing a golden claw at each stack in return. "I have my notes and my special research binder, and I brought one for you too, but it looks like you also came prepared." She smiled at the bag he had with him, which looked like it was stuffed full of books. "What did you bring?"Dia liked the idea of spending more time with the Daydream, who was so much like herself. It was crazy to think she had met someone who was interested in both studying history and archaeology, as a Freshling! She looked forward to discovering more and more about the Fey boy, and thought that spending more time with him was the perfect way to do it. She believed that they could do really great things together if they put their minds to it. It didn't hurt that he was cute too~

Caron laughed and smiled "Of course, your the only other freshling I've meet so I knew the note was from you, fair Dia." Caron said warmly. He went into the common room with his bad of things to exchange noted and ideas with Dia. Caron grinned "Me too" and he laid them out on the table so they could look at the different books together. Caron pulled out books similar to hers, but from Above. Some with pictures filled with rolling green hills and flowers. "Here take a look, your land is so different from mine, I'm used to sunlight and green." Caron said though he was a Lunar fey so he didn't mind the dark, and loved his moon stone. Caron was excited to start this learning adventure with Dia it was so exciting.

Dianthe scooted closer to Caron to get a better look at his book, golden eyes adjusting to the bright colors on the page. "Oh my~" she said delicately, resisting the urge to trace the softly sloping hills on the page. "That really is pretty, Caron." she smiled at the page and then back at him, sitting back in her chair. She opened up her notebook and pulled a pencil from behind her ear, turning her attention back to him. "Could you tell me more about your race, the Fey?" she asked, setting her pencil to paper, ready to record. She figured that would be the easiest place to start, and that he might ask her about Litches, which were the race she knew the most about.

Caron sighed and then said "Yea I miss it a lot it was so pretty, I like it here being with you, but sometimes I feel a little home sick." Caron thought a moment and then he said "Well in general my people need to spend time with our sun or moon stone each day, my flower here" He gestured to the flower on his chest "It's alive and part of me" He said with a grin "I think it makes me charming" He said with a confident tone. "My people believe the first fey was born from a flower." He said with a grin and then said "Cute myth huh??" Then he thought and got back on track and said "My people didn't fight in the 50 year war, we provided food for other daydream instead." Caron sighed "We also tired to help the Bellow which made a lot of other daydreams mad." He paused and then asked "What about you??"

Dianthe almost forgot to write down her notes, she was so wrapped up in his storytelling. It was so intriguing to her that the Fey would grow weak or sickly if they didn't use their sun or moon stones frequently. She liked the Fey's supposed origin story, and nodded in agreement that she thought it was a cute myth. She scribbled down the facts about the Fey's involvement (or lack thereof) in the 50 year war before slipping her pencil behind her pointed ear to think. "Well, Litches were once Elves, but we were cursed with rot. We're one of the taller races, and have sharp bony claws. We tend to be very skilled in magic, especially Alchemy, because we have incredible mental and physical stamina." She informed him, her eyes unfocusing a bit as she pulled up the facts. "It's typical for Litches to follow the path of intellect and become scholars, or involve ourselves in magical studies." She smiled a little as she finished her lecture, resting her clawed hands on her lap.

Caron smiled as he listened to what Dia said and wrote down stuff about her race and history. "What about more of your people's history?? What was their role in the war??" he gave her a charming smile, "Don't worry I don't and won't judge you or anyone else for the pages of the past, this is just about bringing history together. Not about anything bad." He grinned at her, hoping she would believe him, and trust that he adored her. Caron was so asking her out when he got older, he couldn't think of anyone else he wanted to be with, she was so pretty and smart.

Midnightglow18 wanna wrap this up a little? Dianthe blinked slowly when he asked her for more information on her people's history, which caused her to review her little speech for historical elements in it. She supposed that it might not be sufficient enough for her winged companion. It was proving difficult for her to keep up with his high energy and seemingly rapid fire questions. She knew that being a Litch might mean she had dampened senses, and had to focus even more to stay on the same page as other races. She was relieved to hear that Caron would not judge her for her race's past, and with his charming grin, all her worries dissipated. "Oh, well, let's see..." she murmured, thinking back to one of the large tomes she read about her race's history. "The Litches were one of the first to send muscle power to the front lines, what with our race being so adept at magic. Since our territories are mostly barren, we weren't effected as much as other races and could return back to the north after the war was over." She nodded slowly after recounting the information, making sure each element lined up to what she had read. She smiled shyly at her friend, fiddling with the spiral in her notebook.

Delicate Rose Bud Sure, we only need 5 posts each for a prp xd I don't think it goes by word count, though I try to make it at least 100 per post for rp points ^_^ Noded listening to Dia speak about her people's history and wrote down what she said. Then he smiled "Kool" Caron grinned at her and then said "How about we get out of here and go do something else for a while?? We can do more history work later. What do you like to do for fun Dia??" Caron wanted to go and check out the festival so he could find some presents for Dia. He really hoped she liked him, if not he would still consider her a dear friend forever. He might be disappointed if she said she would never go out with him, but he would get over it.
