Niadra was so happy that all she wanted to do was dance. But more then that she wanted to make a dance to show her happiness, one that would make Nyiim see just how happy she was now that he forgave her and they were going to start their lives together. The only issue was she was too happy, to excited, to think of a good dance. Every time she started she was flooded with ideas and the whole thing just ended up coming out messy and unorganized. With a sigh Niadra sat down inside of her tent, hoping that by sitting she would be able to clear her head.
After closing her eyes she began to think of all the things she wanted to include. She wanted there to be twirls, and plenty of hip action so she could show off her curves. He would like that, she was sure. She wasn't sure if she wanted to do any flips, because they weren't her specialty, but she knew he would like them. Everyone liked when the girls did flips. Most of it however would be footwork, like all dances. Finally she opened her eyes and went to find one of her mentors. She would show it to her before showing Nyiim, that way if it did suck he would never have to know and she would get more time to fine tune the dance before showing him.
It didn't take long for her to find her mentor, the woman was in her tent, and thankfully the woman was more then willing to watch her. They went to an open space and her mentor sat at the edge as Niadra started to dance. It was actually going pretty well, everything was flowing, until she got to the flip. Niadra had decided to include a back flip in the dance, but when she executed it she wasn't able to land properly and fell on her butt. After talking to her mentor some Niadra decided that she would practice some more and maybe tweak the dance some before trying again.
---
"Okay Jania, I'm ready this time. I can do this." Niadra said to her pup as they walked to her mentors tent a few days later. She had been practicing her flips with the help of a few other dancers, and had also gotten tips for different steps she could incorporate into the dance. That was her favorite part of having all different races in her troupe, it meant they had all different kinds of dancers who knew steps from all over the world.
Reaching her mentors tent Niadra went in, first talking to her about what she had planned. While practicing she had found that she was much better at landing her lips into a split like position, so the flip got moved to the end of the performance so that the split would signal the ending. Her mentor didn't seem to think doing a flip at all was a good idea, but Niadra insisted that it was.
After talking for a bit about her ideas both Niadra and her mentor went back to the open space so Niadra could actually show her. Just like the time before everything seemed to be going perfectly at first. Niadra was on beat with her mentors claps and the dance was beautiful. It was nearing the ending when things went south once again. A faulty placement of her foot caused Niadra's ankle to twist and her to fall down in pain. At once her mentor rushed over, Niadra gripping her ankle in pain.
After inspection from the troupes doctor Niadra was told it was only a minor sprain and as long as she didn't put to much weight on it for a week she would be free to continue dancing.
