(San's "Looking For Love (For Narue) Christmas Romance Surprise")

"All right! Everyone quiet down! It's my day of Christmas! I've been giving this a lot of thought and taking into account all of the things we've talked about over the last week, and I've finally decided what my event is going to be! Get ready, Lady Narue, because this one's going to be so much fun for you!"
"San, you're really getting into this...I'm happy about it, but I have to admit I didn't expect you to get so...so...excited?"
"I smell a plot! San always gets that devilish look in her eye right before she tries to hit me... *dodge*"
"Next time, I won't miss! ...And yes! Well, Lady Narue...that's because I've come up with the perfect plan! I'm going to prove to you that you and Big Ben here are no good for each other! Which is why my event is...are you ready? It's..."
"The Red String of Fate! A romantic lottery to pair together singles from all walks of life with those that fate decrees to be their destined love. I must say, San, that's far more romantic an idea than I gave you credit for being capable of...are you trying to tell me something? You didn't need to set up this whole game just to confess, you know... *smiles innocently*"
"You...shut it, Bel-for-brains! Way to go and steal my thunder...and no, this isn't just some set-up for me to confess to you! It's so that I can get HER away from HIM!"
"Don't be shy, honey, just tell him how you really feel. *cheers her on gently*"
"Mooom!"
"She's right, San. Don't be shy... *smirk*"
"I am NOT shy! ...And that's not the point!"
"I still won't allow it!"
"Nobody asked you to...nevermind! I'm sorry, Dad...Mom...that's not it! I just wanted to..."
". . ."
"...Hmph, Kappa says that the rules clearly state that only singles are to enter the Red String of Fate Drawing. Which means if the Lady and the Time Wizard are together...they are immune to San's trickery."
"Yeah, but they're not...Lady Narue, you aren't already...?!"
"San..."
"Narue's always been the most special to me. *smiles*"
"How sweet!"
"I approve! ...N-not that I'm admitting that I have a say...or...if Lord Seo and I...I..."
"How cheeky."
"I don't get it. Romance is weird..."
"I get it! *beams brightly*"
"W-what?! Really? Uh...could you explain it to me?"
"This should be quite an interesting response..."
"It means that Young Boss Narue and Mr. Aeon like ta' spend time together in their rooms having s- *innocently*"
"F-Fina! That's...! *blushes fiercely*"
"Scandalous!"
"NOW YOU'RE CROSSING A LINE! *attacks*"
"*dash!* It's not what it looks like! ...Or, sounds like! Take the time to think it over!"
"I've heard ALL I NEED TO HEAR!"
"What's so wrong with having snacks? *smiles innocently*"
"I'll have Shiranui tell you about that when you're older."
"I'm not sure how wise that idea is, Lord Seo..."
"I don't get what's wrong with snacks, either..."
"We'll tell you when you're older! *smiles and pats his head*"
"Not again!"
"Of course, Lord Seo. I'd be happy to...when she's older."
"I'll make a note of it..."
"I'm more interested in this Red String, thing. Is it possible to get more than one girl, you think?"
"Ooh! That's a good question..."
"D-Dad?!"
"Right! Right! *blushes* Old habits, Rue-chan~"
"Oh San... *sighs* ...you've really done it, this time."

Seo's Last Christmas - Favorite Christmas Traditions!
"You know Lord Seo, this is my first Christmas with the Taihaku...back when I was living with the Iyokono we had a few Christmas traditions. A family banquet put together by Lord Ryuga (but mostly Lord Saizo), gift-exchanges, and the like...personally, I liked to buy a little gift for every member of the Clan and hide it somewhere other than the tree. That way even after the presents were opened, there would be one last surprise for everyone to keep the Christmas spirit strong. ...I think San and Viral can expect a little something similar this year, too...but what are the Taihaku Traditions for Christmas? Do you all do anything special?"
"Our clan heads each choose a single ornament from their individual clan celebrations and place it on the Taihaku's Christmas Tree at the Lord's home. It represents each of our families coming together under the Tachibana-Hakushaku to become what we are today. It is one of many traditions we hold...I, personally, prefer a snowflake ornament that looks similar to a web. I've placed it on the tree every year since Lord Seo became Lord."
"Opening Presents, of course! I mean...well, I guess as long as you don't tell anyone...I always sneak downstairs to open one present before morning!"
"And I always watch you do it. *smiles politely*"
"Y-you knew?! I thought I was being quiet!"
"I don't think quiet has ever been a word I'd use to describe you. *chuckles* As for me, I always plan one good Christmas prank a year. Last year I replaced all of Viral's notebook pens with disappearing ink. He spent the better part of New Year's Day using lemon juice to uncover the writing and re-copying the notes to a new notebook."
"Don't remind me, Teki..."
"I like opening the presents with toys AND candy in them! *beams* Is that a...a...'twa-dish-un'?"
"Of course it is, dear!"
"In the Viral Clan, after our traditional gift-exchange we hold a contest of strength between all the adults who wish to participate. The largest present under the tree is always given to the strongest...I've won every year since I was 13."
"Every man's dream...twins. That's my plan for this Christmas and every Christmas after this one...maybe we'll go to the Tokyo tree-lighting? That's a pretty good tradition."
". . ."
"You like that tradition, Kappa? But I thought your tradition was to float in the pond on snowy Christmas Days, and...?"
". . ."
"To each their own...as for me, I like to play Phantom Roulette. I put every member of the clan's face on a board and throw a knife at it to decide who am going to haunt the most for the next year. ...Andalsomaybekillintheirsleep..."
"Dude, that is f***ed* up! ...I almost like you more now. Almost."
"Ugh...well, I remember back with the Resistance, every year we would light up a small tree that Aeon's dad would salvage from the outside...even inside that small place it was really pretty. Narue and I used to sleep by it, that first year...it reminded us of home..."
"San...I remember. When we were younger, before...my dad...we had a tree just like that. We still had Gyuki's tradition, but there were...less ornaments. Less each year...but every year Dad and Mom brought us more and more presents, more than I could count until the tree couldn't hold them all. We were happy...even if it was a lie, we were happy..."
"Of course! Even if our clan's traditions weren't so...nice...when we joined Lord Seo's family, we tried as hard as we could to fit in! Every year we'd pitch in with dinner more than anyone, and buy more presents for lord Seo than anyone!"
"I remember that, Mom...though I think the only one who got more presents from you was Dad... *smiles brightly*"
"What?! I...I, I, I...who raised you to be so cheeky?! *pouts*"
"I believe that was you, my lovely Suko-chan! *beams*"
"R-right! ... *blushes fiercely*"
"My father and I liked to practice special summoning rituals on Christmas! In fact, I believe it was my seventh Christmas when I was fused with my devil!"
"That's...I'm not sure if that's a happy story or sad one...wait, I'm not feeling sorry for you, Aeon!"
"I guess that just leaves me then, doesn't it? Well then...the Taihaku Clan has any number of Christmas traditions! From the tree-decorating to the feasts to the present-opening to the romantic evenings to the snowfall on the cherry blossom trees to the secret dates to the yuletide fire...!"
"The notes Lord Seo has dictated on our Christmas traditions go on for hundreds of pages. Best to move on for now..."
"...And the dancing, and the singing, and the carols, and the candlelight..."
